I have a v6 as my first car and love it, it is so fun to drive my sxt charger with my dad and his r/t. V6’s get too much hate, they are still a lot of fun and for a lot less money.
Your totally right man. they are fun cars definitely get to much hate. What do you all have done to it?
Fr man. I have a 17 sxt rallye edition and everyone hates saying i need a v8. There are no v8s in awd and the insurance would be too much for me anyways. I just want to make some small mods to make it sound better and add a little hp
@@Dr.Exhaust yessir bro! I have tinted my side markers and head lights, I also got a tinted license plate cover for it. I don’t quite have enough money yet but I would like to get coilovers and lower it, and also get some new wheels and tires for it. I’d like to get 20 inch wheels because it has 17 inch right now.
@@condog3857 dang man sounds like you have a really nice one!! Yessir, it would be good to add an air intake and exhaust on mine once I get enough money to do that. They are pretty quick but with a tune or exhaust I feel like they could be really quick and make good power while still getting good gas mileage and yessir definitely cheaper insurance. Enjoy ur car bro!!

What do you have done to it at the moment. Any other things you want on it
@Dr.Exhaust lip, skirts, 5% tint all around, and rims. Nothing crazy. Just enough to make it look good. Engine is stock.
As a v6 owner who whole waited 2 years to decide on an exhaust to not get bullied about 😂 delete ya res and muff put 2 big boz 5’s on in place on ya mids (res) with 4 or 5 inch tips I got 5

That sounds great! I’d definitely love to hear that! I deleted my mids, and put big boz 4s in the rears, with 5inch tips. I love the sound, and was surprised how loud it was at first. I’ve always been curious how the boz 5s would sound though. @ronndot5

Ripp got the best set up
I have the Solo Performance Cyclone on my GT. Sound is nice and deep. Pops with aggressive throttle. Sound is moderate to loud depending on throttle. They have a different exhaust system that is more quiet to moderate. Drone level is like a 1. But most of the sound in the car is exhaust sound not ear killing drone.
I got the RIPP catback system the other day for my v6 300. I like the Under Acceleration sound level so far (medium Loud)....Seat of Pants dyno says gains.

It’s funny how if you drive a 5 series BMW, nobody says “yeah but it’s not a 7 series” but when it comes to mopar Challengers and Chargers that are V6, it’s always the “Yhea it’s not a V8”. My response is I had the brand New fresh out of the box RT. And today it’s the SXT. And I love it just the same. The size and look stand out from the rest. Couldn’t be happier. lol.

I just did a mid delete with a custom pipe welded on with the original tips for $100 21 gt. Sounds pretty good and not high pitched!

@St33l3rs89 any muffler store. Dudes working at those places usually have a pretty good idea what to do. Luckily the one I have near me are family friends for the last 40 years.
My neighbor has a v6 challenger I own a Hyundai v8 sedan I heard his and thought abt going bck to a v6

New subscriber!!!! I recently just got a 2023 dodge charger sxt. And I really like that one clip around 4:50 which is the black charger. Love the sound of it. How can I make mine in a way to sound like that? What would I need to do? And another thing. I have stock exhaust tips. Is that removable to the add on the circle exhaust tips??
Thanks for subscribing Jamie!! 😄What you will need to have done to the car is a mid Muffler delete, rear Resonator delete, BIG BOZ Mufflers in place of mid mufflers and 5 inch tips of your choice. & stock catalytic converters. And yes your stock tips are removable

Hey man just wondering for the big boz 4 muffler would you need 2 or 1 of their mufflers cause a friend of mine got 2 put on his sxt but I also have an sxt and pretty sure I only need 1 muffler but I’m not 100% on it
Yeah brother u will need 2 big boz exhaust in place of your mid mufflers.

Great start so far two things I would is
1.) A nice aftermarket cold air intake preferably JLT.
2.) Get u a pedal commander it helps with more throttle response so the car feels more faster. Here’s the link pedalcommander.com/

I'm suprised that none of these V6 in the video pops, I have the flow master super 10 setup and it pops like crazy whenever I shift and little crackles while driving.
Your only running super 10’s every thing else is stock?
I know some who has a v6 charger with a rear resonator delete & it pops a lil aswell
@@Dr.Exhaust I remove rear muffler, replaced both middle resonators for a flow master super 10 dual in dual out and put 5inch tips. I kept the cats on. I have some videos on my page of me doing pulls if you want to hear it.

Any one does mopar make a high performance exhaust for v6 cause the one that may or may not work they said it for the 5.7 v8, thst won't work on v6 will it ?

Ok hear me out, from doing a lot of research I think the best exhaust would be a custom H pipe with big boz or flowmaster 10/40/outlaw (Maybe even carven)

Can the cars pass smog when you do muffler and resonator deletes?
Depends sometimes smog people can do exhaust inspections and they will see if you have all your exhaust components. To ensure your car will pass smog checks after a resonator delete, it’s a good idea to talk with a local emissions testing or someone you know like a professional mechanic who is familiar with the regulations in your area

What I did with mine is just a cat dump and it’s pretty rowdy and angry sounding

@@Dr.Exhaustcold air intake throttle body spacer it’s lowered in the front dual amp set up 2 12in kickers aftermarket head unit Apple car play bright Halogen light bulbs 65k lumens and a flash tune from Diablosport nothing crazy performance wise just fun stuff
The best exhaust set up is a Ls swap with headers and probably a borla atak

I have a 2019 Charger GT. If there wasn't a V8 associated with these V6 Pentastar Chargers, some of these exhaust would be fine. But, I won't put one on mine because the Pentastar sounds like Ass with them. I'd rather be quiet and let most people guess as I go down the road.
