- In this video I will be installing the Flowmaster Super 10 muffler on my 2018 Dodge Charger Sxt Plus. My Dodge Charger Sxt is also fitted with the Super Track Pack. If you are looking for the next best thing to straight piping your car, go with the Super 10's. Great choice and loud as crap(for a V6 that is). I am very happy with the results.

I was 20 when I bought my 2015 SXT nearly two years ago. At the time I was comparing the SXT and the R/T. The dealer ship wanted $188 biweekly for the SXT or $330 biweekly for the RT. Being young and with little to no credit history my interest rate was quite high. So naturally I chose the SXT because its nearly $300 in my pocket every month for the next 6 years! That's a while! I like to be able to buy food, clothes, parts, go on vacation, take my girl friend out for a date..etc.. Long story short, it all come down to your needs of the car. Whether your charger is the RT SRT SXT or Hellcat it doesn't matter. We all bought the charger because we love the way it looks both inside and out. If you bought RT SRT or Hellcat, its probably safe to say all of the V6 owners are jealous because of your sound and power but we aren't spending as much as you.. and that's a big win in this damn economy. Like I said, it all comes down to your needs. You want speed, get the RT and up. You don't care about speed but want a nice car that is great on gas just grab the V6. Lastly, I'll say that all the haters should just chill out! Its not your car, simple as that! Some people might not like the sound and some people might. Just like how millions of people only drive Civics and billions of people hate Civics lol. Why can't the car scene be a friendly place. Stop bashing each other... this is why the suicide rates keep climbing.

@@KL-oz8wz No, sorry man. I have a 300 hemi. But I used to have a v6 mustang and I made it sound pretty throaty for what it was. I don't know the setup on these chargers.. but I would recommend replacing the rear mufflers/resonators with some sort of aftermarket chambered mufflers. Also, replace the mufflers/resonators in the middle with an H-Pipe. It should give you a nice tone.

The V6 is really underappreciated. With the right exhaust it can sound really good, not to mention that if you boost a v6, it can be really fast, like the ATS-V, Ford GT, and Nissan GTR to name a few.
It depends I have a 3.5l v6 and it tricks people thinking I have a cammed rt😂 but fr there a big tone difference between the 3.5l and 3.6l
That’s probably one of the best sounding v6s idk why anyone would hate on it. Sounds amazing. And it sounds good both low and high rpms which most v6s turn into a empty can at high rpms
Even the 3.5 sounds better than you'd expect. I honestly really like it. The car just feels and sounds faster than most other V6s, even if it often isn't.

He could've easily afforded a used V8 Charger R/T if he could afford a brand new 2019 SXT Plus. That's about $30,000-$40,000 right there. Could've easily got a used Charger R/T or Challenger R/T for that price and still under warranty. I literally just picked up a used Challenger R/T Plus still under the original 5 year power train warranty for a little over $30,000. Love the sound of a V8 😍 I came from a V6 Fusion xD

I will say although I did buy the 392 Scat because prefer the V8 Hemi, Dodge managed to pull off an awesome V6 package. And on a side note, that has to be one of the best out of the box exhaust sounds i'v seen yet! Enjoy your ride little man, you can ride with us big boys any day of the week! Mopar ALL DAY!!!

Love the exhaust, never been interested in seeing anything about V6's but when I heard the sound of it revving. Stuff brought me back to my childhood, it was like a car sound from nfs. I think I just fell in love with V6's. It truly is different and beautiful.

I personally like the v6 better.
The motor last years longer with less maintenance.
And doesn’t kill the transmission.

@@rentjeff yeah you'll definitely notice a change in sound interior and exterior with the cold air intake. That was the first mod I did and it sounded great after the install. You'll also gain about 11hp too. With your exhaust you should be putting down about 260+ to the wheels which is no slouch. Eventually I RIPP supercharged it.

I have an 87 mustang gt with a built 351w and weighs 2900lbs, car is fast, but I bought a v6 charger for a family car and it's a fun car to drive, got the standard cold air and pedal commander for it and a 300 plus hp v6 is more than what my original 5.0 made in my mustang, anyone hating is not a true car guy so they don't count, do your thing for yourself and don't worry what others think

Probably won’t see the comment but, I’ve heard a lot of people say that the super 10’s are the best exhaust for the GT. Do you just add the muffler to the stock exhaust or do you need to add it to a custom car-back exhaust to get a nice sound?
This is what boys do, we love being loud and being proud of what we got. I straight piped my first truck, my dad straight piped his first car, my grandpa straight piped his car, my great grandpa put a whistle on his model T's exhaust, and his grandpa before him probably straight piped his horse. We enjoy what we got and its just part of it geeze.

300 hp v6 is plenty and I’ve always been a v8 guy but I’m getting older now and rather have the 300hp and still get decent gas mileage.

They’re honestly pretty quick, same to cars like the Honda Accord. They’re quick stock, but from the perspective of they’re not supposed to be zippy but are. American muscle runs in my veins so don’t believe I’d ever take a v6 muscle car ever. But that doesn’t change the fact that they are zippy
It’s common even people with upgrades don’t really go anywhere but the sound give you the illusion they are
Only difference is like 60 horses between a hemi and v6 they have the same transmission to my wife has a v6 and it moves 300 horses not slow and now he has pipes ran that adds another 10 to 20 horses

Btw, I had a car accident a year ago someone t boned me in my Cadillac. Insurance paid for a rental since it was totalled, I got to drive a 2018 Charger V6 for 2 months. It was fuckin sweet.. octane red paint job was dope. I was heartbroken to give it back. Would've loved to have been able to keep it as settlement. Lawsuit only gave me $12k for pain and suffering and $3k for my Cadi. Not enough for a new charger tho, family first. Life of a dad, my dreams come last.

The V6 charger would be classified more as a sport sedan. And the V8 would be a muscle. I'm in my 20s with a 2018 charger gt and I couldn't be happier with it. Dude love the sound, makes the car more alive

Brother a v6 is never going to sound like a V8 you want to get as close as you can add an intake and once you throttle it youll get the closest sound to a v8 on a charger or challenger
