2019 Challenger GT: Mid resonator and rear muffler delete. Add a single flowmaster 40 dual inlet/outlet where the resonators were. Awesome awesome sound!!
Thanks for the video. I agree leaving the stock mid mufflers in, and deleting the back resonators is the best sounding in the Best Bang For The Buck Category. And the Super 10 Flowmasters sound great, but too much drone/noise for a daily driver in my opinion. My favorite four mufflers, (with the back resonators deleted) is the: Flowmaster Delta 40 series, the Flowmaster HP-2 x 18”, the Magnaflow 4”x 14”, or the Magnaflow 4” x 18” mufflers.
The best bang for the buck that i did on my charger 3.6 was cut off the rear resonators and replace with a normal pipe. You can do that at home in your drive way with some creativity and some parts. Or you can have it welded. It sounds good, not raspy or loud, but a nice deeper tone.

I had a 2020 sxt that i cut off the rear mufflers and popped on a set of Blastin' Bob's fat pipes (look him up). For around $200 and no welding it's a great upgrade to your V6.
Different trends muffler is the best. Replace mid mufflers with those, delete rear resonators and enjoy the clean deep tone with no drones and no rasps. Look up Different trends muffler on a v6 challenger. You are welcome. Btw, I paid less than 100 for 2 of mine.
I used to have just a rear muffler delete on my v6 challenger while it does sound pretty good, the drone was horrible, so i replaced the mid mufflers with vibrant resonators and left the back straight piped, the drone is wayyyy better and sounds awesome
Vibrant resonators to kill the drone? I’ll look into that. I deleted the rears on my challenger and the drone isn’t unbearable, but I’d prefer to kill that and keep the sound. Is any of your sound sacrificed because of these mufflers? Or does it still have the same growl minus the drone?
@@tyransaffoldjr theres still drone but its not as bad especially in the highway, theres almost no drone at highway speeds. You wont be sacrificing the sound, it sounds just as good if not better

i have a v6 caravan. deleted the res and the muff. it's now durrected out the side after splitting into a y pipe. sounds great for what i got. i put what to much work into this thing in all honestly.
What would be a good option for installing something after deleting the rear mufflers? This would be to make it sound better but not super-annoyingly loud in the morning.
If you truly want a great sound and tone without being overbearing, I suggest mufflers from Black Widow Exhaust. Much better sound than Flowmaster and you won't sound like everyone else.
i guess i was wrong , lol option 3: STep 1, remove rear mufflers step 2, remove mid mufflers and then add floamaster super 10 is this right? thank you! !!! I watched your video many times, i guess i will have to go to this option, the sound sounds great,

My favorite on the Dodge 3.8 V6 is replacing the mids with 12" Vibrant bottle resonators and replacing the rears with 8" Vibrants. There are plenty of vids on Exhaust Addicts of different V6 and Vibrant combos.
The challenger sounds better than the chargers. Idk because they have a different v6? Like a bigger block one? I cant decide what to go with my 2012 charger se v6. Dont want it to sound like a tin can. Any vids or suggestions for a charger? Would really appreciate that

I have a standard v6 set 2021.. haven’t done anything yet but I like them flowmasters. I just want a deep sound that’s not annoyingly loud. I drive slow generally cuz I want this car to last a long time so I’m not lookin to blow peoples ear drums.
I have a V6 challenger I have the borla Atak cat-back exhaust sounds really good love it
Very nice!
@@FrostbiteRam thanks sir do you think that was a good decision for a V6
I got all the parts to delete my buddies rear resonators on his Charger. He disappeared and never got it done, fast forward three years and the parts have been sitting in my garage.....right next to my 300S I picked up last week. Time for a weekend project.😀
agree 100% this is the way to go with a v6
word man I also have a v6 2019 first time Challenger buyer, the rt 392 that I wanted was outside my range, since I paid cash up front, that being said the car already had a rear muffler delete and I was not satisfied with it, then I went with a mid delete with dual cherry bombs xtreme and thing was loud AF. Ultimately somehow the muffler gods took pity on me and scored a slightly used Borla Atak and im happy. dude that sold it to me was t boned and was a complete loss. Made our lie a thief in the night scored it for 4 bills. Im happy although its a v6 im content making it mines and doing small mods and add ons her and there
Nice video...i just got a 2020 300 s v6...and i wantedto do something to give it a little growl ... nothing too loud, this perfect for me...i know its not a v8 and I don't want to pretend like it is
Right on
I have 2018 sxt plus cut everything off put x pipe 2 corsa classic mufflers and added 5inch tips no rasp at all and very aggressive doesn’t sound like an average v6 plus the intake love people’s reactions
A week ago I got a 23 challenger v6 ... I need that hemi growl and from the 3 options in this video, the 2nd one sounds the best ... the other 2 just sound like a suped out Honda
Couldn't agree more!
Keep mid mufflers and replace stock rear mufflers with Flowmaster Flow FX mufflers. Exhaust vids are from Exhaust Addict btw..
Question..
What about adding Quad Tips
To Either Of Those Two??
Whether just the rear delete or
Swapping the mids for Flowmaster's
Or Bottles or Magnapack etc..
But adding the Quad tips
Thats what i have a challenger gt 2020 with flowmasters super 10's replacing the mid mufflers and deleted resonators sounds good not bad! Get compliments alot but one day i will have the v8 no doubt
Nice 👍
I have a 19 Jeep grand Cherokee and looking to make it sound good looking at this video helped a lot thanks
Awesome ✌️
I put the Super 10s where the mid mufflers were, cutoff the suitcases in the back and placed Flowmaster Flows in the spot. Sounds like a beast with virtually no drone.
Can you send me the link you used to get super 10 and do you have a charger
This is a very informative video 💯💪🏾thx bro I took notes for my V6 and I'm going with the flow-master super 10's
Do you have a charger can you send me the link you used to get the super 10
I had a 2020 sxt that i cut off the rear mufflers and popped on a set of Blastin' Bob's fat pipes (look him up). For around $200 and no welding it's a great upgrade to your V6.
I like both options... I think I'll go with the 1st one
Thinking about doing something like this to my 2022 Charger GT. Didn't know where to start or what to get. Thanks for the info.
I have a 22 Dodge Challenger 3.6vvt I really like both options
WOW!!That Rear Muff Delete sounds Phenomenal!!Will that pass emissions in most states?Thinking of cutting my rears out 11 Charger V6
Any recommendations for dual exhaust on a 2024 Frontier V6
I have super tens in mine I love the way it's sounds
My 2014 300c has (2)super 10's..resonator delete w/cherry bomb glasspacks on rear w cat delete..sounds awsome for a V6
Awesome
Vibrant resonators to kill the drone? I’ll look into that. I deleted the rears on my challenger and the drone isn’t unbearable, but I’d prefer to kill that and keep the sound.
Is any of your sound sacrificed because of these mufflers? Or does it still have the same growl minus the drone?
@@tyransaffoldjr theres still drone but its not as bad especially in the highway, theres almost no drone at highway speeds. You wont be sacrificing the sound, it sounds just as good if not better
@@Ramsfan-x7t cool. Thanks! Imma purchase those
@@tyransaffoldjr yeah i bought the ones that say 1792 vibrant bottle style resonators off of amazon
I did an offroad pipe then put in a magnaflow dual in/out with a rear delete and it honestly didn't sound too bad or too loud i recommend it over using Flowmaster or borla
Good to know thanks for the info 👍
I m a mustang gt fan all the way.. I have a 06 cobra , but I did buy a challenger v6 for the work drive and I have the rear muffler delete and love it for v6
Awesome
@@FrostbiteRam thanks bro. Any ideas on what I can do to add horsepower? Is a a cold air intake worth the money in a V6 case?
@@brandonray8409 Not a lot of room for more power on a Pentastar. Pedal Commander will give the illusion of more power with better throttle response.
RIPP turbo charger. It will increase your power by like 45%
@@Later2u thanks bro
I wonder what one of those sounds like running straight off of the exhaust manifold?
Hello
I have a 2017 dodge durango gt v6 I like the sound of the stock exhaust just wish it was louder any suggestions
Thanks
I got a 2014 Dodge Charger SXT with the rear resonator delete and it honestly sounds pretty good. My cuzin said its louder than his stock chrysler with a hemi lol
I’m looking into this atm and a shop recommend this “I’m gonna say maybe the flowmaster 40 series in the middle and to remove the rear mufflers.”
What do u think would it sound good
Awesome Frostbite《☆》Sponsored by Yoohoo & NOS👍🏾😁☮
Lol🤪
Thanks for the Great information and views from under the car… Thankz
You bet!
Okay. The Flowmaster Super 10's sounds good.
Thinking about doing Dynomax Racing Bullets swaps for the mids, rear delete with 2.5 in pipe to the tips. 2019 Challenger SXT. Exhaust Addicts has a similar video with the dynos as mids.
Got 2018 sxt tks for your addvice😊
Good breakdown 👍🏽
Appreciate it
I did mid muffler delete replaced them with big boz4 recommend if you want to be loud
Nice
i have a v6 caravan. deleted the res and the muff. it's now durrected out the side after splitting into a y pipe. sounds great for what i got. i put what to much work into this thing in all honestly.
Would be great if I used Coffin ⚰️ Muffler 2.5 I still have 3 cats no resonators?
Doing it tomorrow on 16 sxt. Cutting off rear resonators and replace with pipe. Local shop said same thing, best option for v6 challenger
Awesome
Thinking of replacing my mid mufflers with Flowmaster 44
Wow! It sounds like a V-6
Cutoff (2nd ) Sound the best
i guess i was wrong , lol
option 3:
STep 1, remove rear mufflers
step 2, remove mid mufflers and then add floamaster super 10
is this right? thank you! !!! I watched your video many times, i guess i will have to go to this option, the sound sounds great,
I cut off resonators and mufflers added flowmasters super 10 cost me 400.00 sounds awesome
Awesome same as one of these cars👍
2019 sxt plus
After market K&N air filter too
How do you think it would sound if you left the rear muffles on?
I have a 2015 challenger sxt i really liked option 1 but I would like to put some chrome Quad tips they look soo good on challengers that’s just my opinion
Just put a subwoofer outside the car and play you tube videos of hell cats gassin on it. 😂😂😂
I got mine done from exhaust addicts too mines on the channel white 2013 sxt challenger with tn front plate if you see it lmk what you think of the sound
My favorite on the Dodge 3.8 V6 is replacing the mids with 12" Vibrant bottle resonators and replacing the rears with 8" Vibrants. There are plenty of vids on Exhaust Addicts of different V6 and Vibrant combos.
hey im considering this!!! thanks
Did a resonator delete and got axel back muffler sounds pretty good for what it is
Awesome
I have a 2019 v6 Challenge, resonator delete, Xpipe in the middle, rear mufflers replaced to Dynomax Race Bullits #24250. Deep, loud, not raspy
Any hp bump freeing up exhaust flow with freer flowing muffler and factory muffler and resonator delete?
Do you burn more gas getting the v8 mufflers deleete?
The challenger sounds better than the chargers. Idk because they have a different v6? Like a bigger block one? I cant decide what to go with my 2012 charger se v6. Dont want it to sound like a tin can. Any vids or suggestions for a charger? Would really appreciate that
I just got a 2015 Dodge Charger 74k miles. Looks like they got a y pipe and flowmaster tips and res delete. I want the vibrant resonators because this one is obnoxiously loud...
Yeah the super 10's sounded good, what's your thoughts on a cold air intake for that v6
Yea do it!!💪🏽
😊true story great video information 👍
Thanks for watching
Ever heard of the ghost cam tune? That will make it sound like it has cams but doesn't I was told?
Yeah it sounds artificial but not bad
Very informative. I have 2022 Dodge Challenger v6 with 2300 miles and did a rear muffler delete and sounds good. Next step I was recommended was to replace mids with Super 44s. Your thoughts vs Super 10s
Thanks
I have a 16 charger and removed rears and replaced mids with the 44s. I like the sound no tin can no drone. Can post vid if you want.
@@captrayn5079 can you share a vid of it. I have a 2022 challenger gt with 3k mil and I am confused about which one to go for, a mid-muffler or rear.
@@bibeklama7920 will post soon just recorded some stuff today for you
I got this exhaust combo turns heads and I got 5in tips looks like a baby hellcat now 😂 back bumper 🤌🏾
Nice!!
