Does this run off wifi or does it need to be plugged into the main power supply all the time

I have the same question. Other than one is double the price of the other, its not clear. They are doing a rubbish job of advertising their different models.
EDIT: I ended up buying one of each to figure it out. Pain in the butt to have to do this, but here's what I learnt.
Sc009ha comes with a power adapter 240v to 5v USB. Also have a universal tripod mounting screw on the bottom. Also comes with a 16 GB microSD card. Software is more sophisticated than sc002ha, including motion detection sensitivity adjustment (3 levels) and a specific human-in-frame alert, in addition to the other motion detection features.
Sc002ha does not have any of these hardware bonuses. Also has a different tilt and pan construction compared to sc009ha - pros/cons of the two types of constructions are not clear. Software is similar, without the ability to change motion detection sensitivity, nor the ability to give a specific alert when a human body is in frame. Still does general motion detection and tracking. Gets locked onto my ceiling fan, and won't come off, rendering motion tracking a bit of a dud.
A 16 GB microSD card and a power adaptor hardly seem like valid reasons to change the look of the camera itself.
Also, it seems that the sc009ha (and therefore probably the sc002ha as well) cannot play video and record video at the same time.

This is shit needs to have a compatible wifi router or else it will not connect to the wifi at all.
