Very easy for us to connect. Instructions were very straightforward
I had a small problem connecting but it turned out to be my wifi password was wrong. Rebooted the router and then everything went smoothly. This video helped troubleshoot what I was doing incorrectly. Thanks

Once it’s connected to the app, can everyone in the family see alerts or clips on their own phones, or only the phone it was paired to initially?

No hook up to phone now, but it works all day,
I installed it ok. Checked it at home.But now out of home when opening the app it says device is off line!!
Do these cams have to stay on the charger every time I take it off the power supply cord camera turns off ?
I can't find anywhere an IP rating. I need cameras installed outside and I want to know if this is suitable. But I love what I see here
I actually installed this kind outside in a location that can't be exposed to rain. The only thing is it needs continuous mains supply so shared the downlight supply with this cam.
so far it's working fine. I like the pan/tilt functionality and the option continuous recording that's why I installed outside the house under the canopy.

Wow. 3 months have gone by and nobody from GC has answered you.
You can login with the same account on multiple devices.
So say if one account has all of your grid connect compatible devices, you can simply login to that account on another mobile device and view cameras and receive notifications on both devices.
Another tip. Whilst the device is powered off, tilt up the camera to expose the SD card slot and reset button pin hole.
Plug in the device and wait for the tone, then proceed to take a pin and carefully insert it into the reset hole, hold in the button with the pin for 5 seconds.
After that the device will sound off and reboot, after rebooting has occured try the connection process again.
Do you have to have a SD Card.
How do you edit clips from the SD card, and copy to PC
I would edit the clips on my PC but just get a "micro sd card adapter" off EBay or a shop. Take out the micro SD card from the camera and put it in the adapter which goes into the USB on your PC.
how do I playback? do i have to manually record everything?

@@rob-artfarmingnz6138 turns out the wire powered versions constantly record, where as the battery ones record based on motion detection. Playback is through the app for both, or remove the microSD card.
My camera went off line when I added my chrome cast
Anyone else having issue with SD card? I have 3 cameras all 3 showing card not detected time to time . And everytime.i have to reset and reconnect . Them again after a month or so same issue

Not working mine is stuck in formatting mode and won't let me adjust...
Iv reset it and it still come back on with formatting and won't let me do anything...
First connection went ok, then it lost the connection. Next times it refused to connect saying it needed a 2.4 wifi connection, temporarily disabled the 5 so it could only see 2.4 and it connected.
No user manual available from Arlec, and when I emailed them with questions they weren't very helpful. I had to figure out myself how to get the Grid Connect app to automatically record a video. Probably should have gone directly to Grid Connect who at least know what they are talking about, they were able to tell me how to download that video.
My camera got stuck at scan QR code. Tried many times, reboot, wifi network 2.4 Ghz & correct password, cleaned camera lens, changing phone angle won't help. Is this hardware problem ?

Tried a wi-fi hotspot on my phone and it doesn't connect. The connection instructions are not clear.
