    I lasted through the frustration when setting up a light. Turning it on and off 3 times eventually worked (made it flash rapidly) when I did it slow and waited a few seconds after the 3rd. Then after fuffing around trying to do manual sync which didn't work and repeatedly having to type in my wifi details I saw a tab at the top to do auto sync and then after failing a couple of times I found an option that directed me to Android settings to change my actual phone to 2.4GHz and then it worked. I then turned off 2.4GHz on the phone and 5Ghz was still on and I could still control the phone. Learned a lot. I actually turned on Bluetooth sometime before it worked but even though it says it needs bluetooth I don't think it does. I think Bluetooth is for other shit. I can unplug it and plug it back in and control it on 5G without bluetooth, so looking good. Took 45 minutes.

    A tip of advice: When paring the Music Cube, CHARGE IT BEFORE USE. I had so many problems, but it was all because you cannot use it while charging. Let it charge for a hour or so.

    If having pairing issues then try turning off WPS on the modem (untested) and you may have to wait longer than the 100% countdown and the failure to connect message shows. An indication that it is connected is when the pairing light turns off on the device while connecting. Wait up to five minutes and the device should show on the app otherwise try again and watch for the pairing light to turn off. If on your second attempt the pairing light turns off after several seconds then the device will likely show. Again wait up to 5 minutes after a failed pairing attempt for the device to show on the app.

    The Pan and Tilt unit I purchased will not pair in the app although the box and manual states that it does. Secondly the unit did not have a micro Sd slot despite the box advertising it has one included. I threw this junk unit straight in the bin.

    When pairing a pan and tilt cam, there is a beep as it starts to connect (percentage circle), what does the beep mean. At 100% it says cannot pair and repeat steps again.

    At 33 seconds into this video, the app shows full screen of options to select from. I installed the app and going to the same screen , the screen is void of any icons ? HasAnybody else found the same issue.

    Stay away from these devices!!! Constant issues pairing. Unable to do a factory reset on a fan.

    Will you be updating the firm ware at any point? For the price would be expecting updates and improvements. You dont even reply to questions....

    BUYER BEWARE !!!
    These things should be removed from sale, they simply do NOT do as you say, pairing is near impossible and definately not for the faint hearted. I am very experienced in network management and it's various IFTTT and IOT protocols and these do not meet the very basics, they are basically rubbish. In this day and age they should be at least 5Ghz capable and pairing should be quick and simple, these are NOT !!

      Got a new devices and man was hit and miss. Did the same as video and 2 of 3 did not work with out repeat tires. One I just left and did a different day and bam first time.

    Been trying all afternoon to pair my door lock with phone and home internet. Nothing shows up on the app to be recognized and paired.

    What if you are on a 5Ghg Network?

      You have to switch to a 2.4Ghz network. If you don’t see a 2.4Ghz network, you have to go into your router settings and see if it is enabled or not. Some routers make the 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz network combined. You have to have it separate

    Who ever decided to pair the ac with a phone, to smash the fan button 6 times is an idiot.......it never works......I just feel that after the 10000 time of smashing the fan button.....it's just going to break it.

    It’s not really smart if you force people to use 2.4ghz. I can’t force my phone or router into 2.4ghz mode, so there’s no way to connect my phone to the 2.4ghz Sid.
    Holding the power button seems to do nothing. I spent 3x the price buying a fan that I thought I’d be able to control with my google home. Waste of money, should have just bought a dumb one had had the same outcome.

    Arlec needs separate videos for its products. The process is so different. I have a fan that just will not go into pairing mode. Arlec support line hangs up after the intro message. Useless products, useless support and very poor customer treatment.
