The courier driver cracks me up in our country our drivers aren't even patient enough to wait at the door for 2 sec. They literally put it down and off they go. Too much time spending on calling the person and then turning off the Alarm and then unlocking the door, and if hes may walk in and start stealing lol. Probably pass on that idea. Otherwise the rest is pretty good. Sad its not in 5GHZ :( Since we mostly run this.
So u can pair the lights when they switch on and the kettle for example to go on same time. Not timer but when living room light go on kettle go on for example
Honestly he should have introduced this video with "The past is here". This is a difficult and unreliable system that unless you have an outdated modem you will need to be really tech savvy to have a chance of getting it all to work. I did get it to work but the battery operated devices have stopped functioning one after another and after changing batteries I can't get them to work again. It should operate on 5mhz like all modern WiFi home systems, not force us to downgrade and it should be easy.
I can't agree more Martin! I find very misleading that many devices are advertised as "smart" without mentioning the tech issues requiring the use of an outdated wi fi frequency. The work around is not practical at all, and I'm an IT professional!
@@Grapegum I have been an I.T. professional and I did get them to work when I first bought them after jumping through the 2.4ghz hoop but when they stopped talking for one reason or another it was just too hard to do it all again. So I have a bunch of dumb "smart" home devices now. thankyou very much Bunnings for nothing this time. I do have some other smart devices that Bunnings sells like Arlo security cameras and they were easy and have been reliable.
Ive been trying to get an Australian Smart home kit supplier dedicated to making good products and can't find one. Like do you make an outdoor smart motion sensor?
Grid Connect integrates nicely into Google Home. And Amazon Alexa apparently. And Apple Homekit through Homebridge/Hoobs - however you must have some technical ability for this. IFTTT integration is notably absent.
A*mazing😆
Smart house. Smart city. Smart phone. It’s all just a from of surveillance and control. If you haven’t realised by now…

you can do that with google home/alexa routines
Has anyone got an update on the development of the 'smart' popcorn machine? Asking for a friend.
Just don't forget to fill your kettle before you leave, or when you open the door to visitors. Kettle is a bit of a silly example
I will not buy into this system because there is absolutely NO support.

Nearly all smart home automation stuff uses 2.4ghz. add a 2.4ghz access point.

semi smart house at best - only as smart as the user leaving switches ON for it to work.
all good till they take up all your wifi channels and then you are screwed...
Delivery guy needs to sack his belt. It's not doing its job.
Is it same as Google home?
