Great Price, Great Lock!! But not straight forward to install. We had lots of trouble trying to work out how to secure the door, because when we thought the door was locked if you lifted the handle up the door opened. After reading other reviews we noted it was a similar problem others were also having. After reading reviews they discussed spindle position. We found the spindle needs to be positioned so when you lift the handle up the door striker doesn’t engage. After much perseverance we worked it out. Once we did get the lock working properly it works Great! Set up and pairing very easy, very happy. Company needs to consider providing much clearer instructions on how to align spindle (both written and RUclips) If your not good at puzzles a locksmith might be easier option with installation.
Agree, same issue for me but a video would be great for adjusting the spindle position in the right way. I am having the same issue but not been able to fix it as of yet. Thanks

Was thinking about getting one of these for my internal door to my garage. That way I can lock it from the garage side so you'd need the fingerprint to get into the house. Does anyone know how the other side of the handle works? Does it just simply open normally that side?
My device will not allow me to press 3 for network settings. So I can not pair my app to the device. When I press the 3 it always says no.

I am finding mine impossible to enter into the setup mode.
I press star.. good.
I press hash the door bell dings. No setup mode.
Front door handle only works when I reset the device or if I use the manual key

What is the average battery life?
Would be nice if you could easily lock and check lock status from app otherwise great product for the price
Oh, so what does the grid connect part do for it then?
I thought it would be to allow me to check lock status, schedule locking up at certain times, and maybe unlock if someone needed access.
Has anyone had a problem with the handle going pass the security door jamb. Security door will not close fully after installing this lock.
I saw a video of a guy saying he took the plate off and it worked.

Did you work it out? Because I still haven't. This lock has been a nightmare!
I have installed it and everything works fine, however from the outside if I pull the handle upwards it unlocks and opens the door! This is strange, so technically it is not fully locked. Nothing in the user manual about this. Advice would be great. Thanks.
Yes 👏👏👏 dodgy much 🤣🤣 time to get money back. So much in keeping intruders out. 🤦♀️

My carpenter installed it. It was very difficult but eventually we worked it out. Now it works fine. No issue.
How did you get it to work, I have a left hand door so even though it says it’s secured it just opens with the handle when opened.
Forgive my stupidity but is that latch on backwards? I don't mean to be that guy but...
yes for an inward domestic opening door, but i guess this could be as a commercial door where they sometimes open outwards for fire regulations/fire exit.

Don't waste your money. I have set this up. No need for key, swipe card, pin code nor fingerprint to enter when door is locked. Just lift handle toward ceiling.
I had the same issue but quickly solve it by rotate the spindle another 45 degree, then the handle is loose and stay locked status until being unlocked, give it a try mate.
Great advice. Quiet easy to get this part wrong and compromise the security of the lock.
Why does the unlock button on the inside not keep the door permanently unlocked.. like a normal deadbolt does?
Every time you want to open the door you have to type in a code. Annoying as hell if you're just walking to check the letter box
Lock myself out
Baught this item last night.. It's a complete NIGHTMARE!!. For me it's not the spindle that's a problem. It's the fact that the machine doesn't communicate with the app. Also that I can't delete users at all. It asks for the user serial number. When I type it in it doesn't bloody work. This is the most user unfriendly device I've ever had the misfortune of buying. I'm worried my elderly parents will get stuck locked out because this thing is so unreliable. I'm also worried someone will get in easily as I can't delete the 123456 code! Do not buy! If you've baught it. Take it back! It's terrible.
