  • The best way to clean after pooping is by far the bidet. There are some people that use a municipal bucket of 'muddy' water and a rag, there are some people who use toilet paper only, there are some people who don't wipe at all, then there is the BIDET!
It makes more sense to spray high-pressure water right up your bunghole. I live in the US and this is not a common way to clean up after a dump, but all I can say is, how have I lived so long without doing this?
Pandemic got you hoarding toilet paper? Don't fight over a roll of toilet paper at Walmart, and don't steal McDonald's napkins. Treat your tushy to a nice spray wash!
The bidet I bought is no longer available, but this one looks almost exactly the same: amzn.to/2WZJ8Pg

I never thought about it until you mentioned it about the Covid-19 and toilet paper shortages, very good idea.

Well, I don't think this is a common thing in Europe. Here in Norway we use TP which we all know, sucks.
First of all, think of the water temperature. If you live in a cold country like me, the water will be really cold in the winter. Therefore I've connected it to my sink so I can control the temperature of it. If you have the option, add a step between so you can control the temperature. You do not want 2 degrees water shooting up into your arse. Trust me. I forgot myself 1 time and put the sink on cold... OUCH!!!
There's different types of bidet's. Some are just for them ladies and some also consider us men and to clean the behind. Just make sure you check that before ordering one.
You can get bidet's with heater's etc., but then you need a power outlet to heat the water on the fly etc. (which I don't have)
Also consider a bidet where the flushers retract back under cover. Just give your thoughts a spin and you figure out why that's a good idea... Like, your asian GF made you some really good food, but your stomach doesn't agree etc....
The only thing I have a problem with now is that I have to shimmy all the way to the front of the seat for the water to properly hit my butt. I've tried several bidet's but haven't found any good solution here. The problem might be with the toilet itself that it's too small, I don't know.
I visited a beautiful hotel in Bangkok which had a bidet like this, but that one was called "Tokyo Sukiri". I haven't found a good place to order one (yet). But the price is around $300-$400. That one was great and hit the spot perfectly, but then again, I haven't tried it here on my toilet in Norway.
Anyways... Just tell Beavis and Butthead: No more TP for my bunghole !!! :D :D :D

Don't you still have to dry your butt?

The nice ones have a warm air dryer. They also have seat warmer and warm water. I can't imagine using cold tap water for this.
