I would argue that there is more strategy than any other games and legends arceus simply because you have to think about using strong style and agile style moves
Yea, it's way better than getting your pokemon to hold an item to make it stronger, and the only way that I know for your pokemon to get stronger is by using grit.
In terms of a single player experience I agree. However, PVP strategy is incredibly diverse and complex that I doubt this would ever be a suitable replacement as it is right now. Maybe after quite a few tweaks, but right now fair, strategic PVP in Legends would be impossible.
I agree, a new battle system means one has to adapt and come up with new strategies. I run Lucario with Bullet punch and Mach Punch just for the fact that I can attack 4-6 times before the opponent with the way the action bar works
I find the critique of the battling system being 'There's no strategy' to be bogus baloney from people who don't care to learn the basics of the games new combat systems. I have seen several Poketubers running Legendary's on their team and then dying. The game is more difficult yes and pokemon being switched in get to hit you. You should also interact with the Effort Levels system considering its the simplest form to date and is designed specifically to be used during singleplayer. Just started watching, just want to say i am SO HAPPY that you did this, this is my favorite thing to react to as far as PLA gameplay goes. I would do anything to be able to fight this battle again, it was such a cool battle. Since you basically have to fight a team of 8, which i believe is unprecedented in pokemon history. Like, there's the elite 4 and champion in every game, but you get to heal in between battles as long as you have the potions and such to do so. This is a 6-pokemon team immediately followed by a 2-stage pokemon, so you just have to be good, even being over leveled, you can have difficulty with it and i love it. The only healing you can do is in battle, having to take up a turn to do so. I remember alot of people saying that Cynthia in BDSP was difficult, i think PLA arguably made the hardest boss fight to date, and made it look cool while they're at it.

That wasn't the issue, it's not that we didn't know Giratina had another form. We didn't realize that this was going to be 8 vs 6 Pokemon battle with no way to heal in between. I spent so so much time filling and perfecting my dex, exploring and resourcing, I was over leveled the whole time. I avoided the noble battles for so long because they felt like a chore. Though I’m always happy to see a difficulty spike in a Pokémon game. But I was so over leveled that the Pokémon battles weren’t really strategic like yours was and I feel like I may have missed out a little. Maybe that’s the downside of open world games. I was the same on sticky globs, didn't see the need. I was so wrong. For aggressive Pokémon, like those sneasels, they're stupidly helpful. So Volvo, before I beat you, where you get those clothes from? lol
You need to get all Pokémon to research level 10
I was the same on sticky globs, didn't see the need. I was so wrong. For aggressive Pokémon, like those sneasels, they're stupidly helpful. One sticky glob stuns, and you can just walk behind it with a gigaton ball and get a near guaranteed capture.
Those sneasel would have been lining themselves up to be caught if you'd had them!
Anyone else think Heatran looks super chunky and round from the side-view? I think its weird.
It’s me, Asher I have found six shiny. Pokémon one star review, two twist poem, free Cascone for a zillion saw farm Eevee, and six is a. Tonita.
I was able to beat Volo on my first try, but my team was all levels 85-95. Even then he ate holes in my team. If I hadn’t brought Revives, I would’ve been in trouble.
He had super overleved Pokémon and could barely handle the last fight. My highest mon was 72 and I don’t even think I used 1 revive. It did take me a couple attempts though.
Idea for a video, rip off Mikey's style and just do the best ride Pokemon in a different legends region, or at least send him the idea, because he'd crush that
Have you ever thought and made the connection that the pose Adaman does kind of looks like Leon’s pose
I'm planning on just using 5 Chansey with an electric move a fighting move and a fairy move, along with an Ovrquill 🐡
