Will this work for the M2 Mac Air? I bought a Toshiba recently which is meant for Mac but it wasn't compatible with the M2 Air.

I've used Passports for Mac on a Mac Mini, MacBook Pro, and currently using on an iMac. Not sure but it should work on a Mac Air if you have USB ports.

worst hardware ever, please dont buy, lost 3years worth of work on this thing, if your laptop goes dead connected to this it will crashes and lose all your data

it says in the directions, and your mac will prompt you, "it is strongly recommended to be connected to power," probably for this particular reason
