    On this vid, there are really good points. As an iPhone user for many years now, there are so many features Android phones offer that almost made me switch back. But when i think of app optimization, online protection/privacy, sustainability, and the ecosystem itself, I just can’t. Nonetheless, i do keep an android phone as a spare phone and given the good feedback on this phone, i really am considering buying s23 ultra to play with. 😊

      I'm on the opposite boat here. I've been an Android user, or Samsung user more specifically, since my first phone. I recently upgraded from the Galaxy Note 8 to the S23 Ultra and it's been a massive jump. However, I do feel like trying out iPhones and Apple products more now, mainly because of how good I've heard the M1 and M2 MacBooks are. Years ago, I never considered MacBooks an option due to poor and limited ports and IO, bad butterfly keyboard design and touch bar, thin chassis resulting in thermal throttling. But now it looks like they have learned from their mistakes and have made a really compelling product that I'm considering buying and an iPhone to go along with it

    One of my biggest issues with switching to android is the buttons. Yes, the buttons.
    I cant get used to having the power and volume buttons on one side. Its hard trying to turn the volume up or down when im not looking at the phone because ill accidentally turn the phone on or off. And taking screenshots is frustrating, its hard doing it with the buttons on one side.
    Taking screenshots on iphone is way easier and simpler. Im thinking of getting the nothing phone 1, it has the same button layout like the iphone

Samsung will buy back an older phone and give you the trade-in value on the spot. Just send the old phone back within the period stated and you're good to go.

    I use both. Mostly the S23 Ultra. Iphone is really for my apple watch Ultra at this point. I also prefer Macbook Pro’s with MacOs over windows, so having an Iphone for that helps as well. The S23 Ultra is mainly for watching content, and everything else I can think of lol..and because it’s better looking phone than the Iphone. I have my most important contacts on my iphone since I’ve been with them longer though, and my kids have Ipads/Iphones as well. Point is, they’re both great phones. Apple/Mac Os will always be a must have for me because of the overall reliability and servicing Apple provides. Plus Apple is KING when it comes to optimization. I still have issues with Samsung/Android when it comes to certain basic functions like emailing and their web browser functionality. Part of my job involves Tech assistance, and I can tell you that most of our stubborn issues come from Android devices(Not necessarily Samsung all the time, but Android in general). Overall, the experience of having that body to screen ratio on that S23 Ultra, and way that screen looks for anything else you do, plus the S-Pen makes it a more fun phone to use on a daily basis. Again, both are great phones and keep in mind that the upcoming 15ProMax is not out yet. That’s the phone the S23 Ultra will be competing with. The battery life on that one will be amazing, given how good the 14proMax is already and battery life is ultimately what many people go with as the most important feature.

The 14 Pro Max was released in 2022 but it's somewhere around September which is closer to February 2023 (S23's release) than February 2022 (S22)... which also means the 14 Pro Max aims to be a good phone for 2023. The 14 PM might have been released in 2022 but it's as good as released in January 2023. If you know, you know.

Waiting for the S24 Ultra to come out before they can compare it to Samsung’s most recent Phone? lol.. you know this is exactly how it works. Again, I am not an Iphone guy like that anymore, and I use the S23 Ultra as my main phone, but this is how it is. It’s the natural cycle of the release dates from these manufacturers. Gotta love the competition, it benefits us, the customer!

    S23 Ultra - die Beste Entscheidung, welche man nun im Smartphone Bereich treffen kann.
    Meine Handy/Smartphone Historie ist relativ überschaubar.
    Das erste Handy was ich bekommen habe war,
    das Sharp GX20 (etwa 2 Jahre genutzt);
    LG GD510 (etwa 2 Jahre genutzt, weil das Sharp GX20 kaputt gegangen ist);
    Galaxy Note 1, damals und bis jetzt das genialste was rausgekommen ist (bis 2016 benutzt);
    S3 (zweites Handy zum Note 1, hab ich dann verschenkt);
    LG G5 (das schlimmste Handy was ich bisher besessen habe, flog nach einem Jahr Nutzung wieder raus);
    S7 (zweites Handy zum Note 1 bis nach einem Jahr massive Akku Probleme aufgetreten sind);
    Huawei Mate 10 Pro (1 Jahr Nutzung, und wird immer noch benutzt von meiner Mom und läuft absolut einwandfrei);
    Huawei P30 Pro (1 Jahr Nutzung, ist nach wie vor ein Hervorragendes Handy und ist immer noch im Besitz meiner Schwiegermutter);
    Hätte mir gerne wieder ein Huawei geholt, jedoch kam dann der Bann.
    Also wollte ich mal aufgrund des günstigen Vertragswechsel mal ein iPhone holen.
    Es war das iPhone 11 Pro (1 Jahr Nutzung, aber der Akku ist einfach inakzeptabel, also verkauft).
    Dann über die Vertragsverlängerung erneut ein iPhone geholt - das iPhone 13 Pro Max.
    Super Smartphone und Leistung, aber wenn nach genau einem Jahr die Kamera kaputt geht,
    ist das für mich absolut inakzeptabel und ich sehe die Reparatur nicht ein.
    (Ich habe schon früher gedacht, warum sollte man sich ein iPhone holen - ja es ist mal was ganz anderes aber mehr auch nicht.
    Ja die Geräte untereinander funktionieren sehr gut, Verarbeitung ebenso, aber je mehr man darüber nachdenkt wie man eingeschränkt ist,
    macht es einfach überhaupt keinen Sinn wieso man zum iPhone greifen sollte. Auch ein simpler Datentransfer zu einem anderen Gerät…)
    Also wurde es Zeit, wieder zu Android zu wechseln.
    Nach all den Jahren kam das S23 Ultra dann nun zum richtigen Zeitpunkt.
    (Ja ich sollte zwischenzeitig mal in den Jahren davor mir ein Note holen, aber irgendwie hat es mich nicht mehr gereizt ein Samsung zu holen,
    vor allem auch wie in dem Umfeld so gut wie jeder Akkuprobleme hatte.)
    Aber wie gesagt, jetzt war der richtige Zeitpunkt gekommen um das S23 Ultra zu holen.
    Insbesondere aufgrund des Wechsel von Samsung Seite zu Qualcomm.
    Mit dem S23 Ultra ist man ohne hin für die nächsten Jahre abgesichert, die Leistung ist ohne hin von der Technik schon seit Jahren abgedeckt.
    Die neusten Generationen ist sowieso schon ein overkill für so gut wie 90% der Nutzer von Smartphones.
    Aber die Möglichkeiten die im S23 Ultra sind (Dex, Spen).
    Allgemein einfach die Anpassungen die man vornehmen kann und wie schon erwähnt ist ein Datentransfer ohne irgendwelche Probleme so einfach wieder.
    S23 Ultra ein Gefühl wieder wie vor 12 Jahren beim Galaxy Note 1.
    Ich bin guter Zuversicht, dass ich nun wieder ein Smartphone habe, welches ich ohne Einschränkungen wieder die nächsten 5 Jahre, und auch darüber hinaus nutzen werde.

    1) Social Media apps must be optimized on Android. Otherwise Android is doomed.
    2) Video must be more reliable.
    3) Samsung must be different in terms of marketing. Apple is really atractive to girls. Girsl mainly use iPhone. If Android manufacturers can't do something with that, we are in trouble.
