Nonetheless, i do keep an android phone as a spare phone and given the good feedback on this phone, i really am considering buying s23 ultra to play with. 😊
I'm on the opposite boat here. I've been an Android user, or Samsung user more specifically, since my first phone. I recently upgraded from the Galaxy Note 8 to the S23 Ultra and it's been a massive jump. However, I do feel like trying out iPhones and Apple products more now, mainly because of how good I've heard the M1 and M2 MacBooks are. Years ago, I never considered MacBooks an option due to poor and limited ports and IO, bad butterfly keyboard design and touch bar, thin chassis resulting in thermal throttling. But now it looks like they have learned from their mistakes and have made a really compelling product that I'm considering buying and an iPhone to go along with it

One of my biggest issues with switching to android is the buttons. Yes, the buttons. I cant get used to having the power and volume buttons on one side. Its hard trying to turn the volume up or down when im not looking at the phone because ill accidentally turn the phone on or off. And taking screenshots is frustrating, its hard doing it with the buttons on one side. Taking screenshots on iphone is way easier and simpler. Im thinking of getting the nothing phone 1, it has the same button layout like the iphone
I thought the screenshots were harder too until I found out you can set the power button to hold and it takes one, or like mine I double tap the back of the phone to screen shot and it's much better!
I actually like that the buttons are on one side. I used to have the problem of taking accidental screenshots when grabbing my phone when the buttons were on opposite sides. S for me it is more of an intentional action to take a screenshot because it is a little bit more difficult. But that is just me, of course other people might have different opinions and experiences

But the bloat wear that comes on androids, how is that these days? That was one thing I hated was just disabling apps I didn’t need but couldn’t ever delete them
It’s mainly a joke, it’s not really about the color itself but just how good iMessage works compared to the clunky mess that is sending videos through sms on android.

The battery life on that one will be amazing, given how good the 14proMax is already and battery life is ultimately what many people go with as the most important feature.
The competing phones are the ones closer to each other and not necessarily as to the year it was released. The 14 Pro Max was released in 2022 but it's somewhere around September which is closer to February 2023 (S23's release) than February 2022 (S22)... which also means the 14 Pro Max aims to be a good phone for 2023.
