Last galaxy phone I had was the S3 which I switched over for the iPhone 5 and been with iphone since. Traded in my 13 pro max for the S23 Ultra a week ago and I must say, it feels like a breath of fresh air.
@rashaanc.richardson9057 being with iphones for over 10 years, it's nice to finally try something different because jumping from iphone to galaxy, it's a whole new experience
My favourite thing about PC/Android is the file system of the phone. A true file explorer and the ability to just copy-paste anything the moment you plug your phone to your computer.
The thing most Apple users don't understand about Android is that it's 10x more customizable than iOS. If there's something you don't like about it, you can change it. Whether it's the lock screen, app shortcuts, animation speeds, text bubble colors, etc, all can be changed to how you'd prefer you aren't stuck with whatever Apple wants it to look like
Google has not been doing so well with regards to customisability in recent years, though. The Pixels are alright, but not that great in that respect. Samsung is doing a lot of work. It's one of the reasons I am considering jumping ship from Pixel to Galaxy.
So true, I got an IPhone for my work phone now and I was shocked that you cant even place apps where you want them to be on your home screen, in general you can customise so little I was baffled
I was going to wait for the 15 pro max to come out, but when rumors and leaks started and it became obvious it wasn't going to be any different in general term from the 14 pro max, I went for the S23 Ultra. I´m pretty happy with the decision, battery life is crazy, charge it once every two days, cameras are amazing, also media consumption. It was a great upgrade from the S9+.
Great video, I switched from iPhone during the iPhone 6 era but I've always had my ups and downs with android phones. The S23 Ultra is geniunely one of the best phones I've ever used and thats coming from someone who's just upgraded from the S22 Ultra.
@@AbuyDullah if you're a UK user, you'll end up with the Exynos chipset. It's not very effecient and affects the overall performance and also the battery life.
The exterior of the Samsung S23 Ultra LOOKS like the S22 Ultra but its cameras and internals and subsequent performance has improved dramatically. The S-Pen is excellent when editing photos, modifying or taking custom screen shots, creating gifs, selecting text the list is endless. Android can just do so so so much more than Apple you will be blown away. Endless customisation and personalisation.
I think people overlook one thing about the space zoom that I've found massively helpful. Being able to zoom in on parking time signs and building hours from far away is amazing since the signs are always so small.
I've just jumped ship from apple to android, I've gone from the iPhone 14 Pro max to the s23 ultra, been with apple for years, but I'm enjoying the swith surprisingly 👌🏻
@Mein_KampfyChair yea, I just found apple stale at the moment, fancied a change, I'll go back to apple at some point, I'll see what the iPhone 15 has to offer, if it's more or less the same, I'll stay with android till the the next iPhone.
Thanks for sharing. Samsung's spacebar cursor control feature does actually allow you to scroll up and down too. Also, Samsung has the 'one handed mode' feature that shrinks the screen so that everything is reachable (you can customize how this is accessed via Advanced Settings)👍🏼
You can navigate back from the right side of the screen as well, on the S23 Ultra. Also with moving the cursor around while typing, the Samsung keyboard works as well as the IPhone's
I am a long time iPhone user that has switched to the S23 Ultra. Im really happy so far, but I do miss the face detection for opening and iMessage, but other than that, I think I will stay with Android.
After using the S22 Ultra for the past year and just upgrading to the S23 Ultra a few weeks ago I must say it's a complete beast of a phone performance wise. Feels more like a two year gap between phones, and I did have the Snapdragon Gen 1 version of the S22 Ultra. Think it's the combination of the 4.0 UFS memory and 5X Ram along with the Gen 2 chip and the kicker is the battery life is substantially better this year. I'm getting nearly a half days worth of extra battery life with my new phone which is not something that I was expecting. Usually when companies drastically improve performance there is a battery life hit or they have to make the battery larger to compensate. Not with the S23 Ultra, which is a welcome surprise. Also, something that I haven't seen mentioned is the much improved performance of the X70 Qualcomm modem with built-in AI and nearly 50% more power efficiency. I'm not getting any dropped calls that I was getting occasionally with the S22 Ultra and the call quality itself is much better....definitely a bonus when we actually have to make a phone call. I noticed the power curve is improved when using the Samsung 45 watt super fast charging and is quicker. Nice to see more and more Apple fans making the switch. I really like the freedom to use other products besides just Apple products and their walled garden. If I want to switch phones it's incredibly easy to take everything with me and my chargers still work. Actually quite surprised Apple is still using the outdated lightning port on their iphones. They have even switched to the superior USB-C port on their iPad Pros but are really dragging their feet on their phones I would think for pure profit. Couple things. Check out One Hand Mode in the settings if your hands are on the smaller side. It's quite useful and can be initiated quickly if needed in certain circumstances. Also, you can speed up the animations from 1.0 to 0.5 ms in the Developer Mode which is a nice little option. The stacking widgets on the home screen is a really nice feature I find myself using fairly often. Thanks for the review and enjoy your new phone!
In the first paragraph you said 5X ram (I'm guessing you mean ddr5x), that might lead some people to believe that the phone actually had 5x more ram lol, not just a faster variant
Had my S23U for a week now and its been amazing. Been wanting a change for a while now having been with apple for nearly 7 years. Samsung phones and their approach to Android has changed A LOT since my last experience with one. I think Android phones in general are a lot better. Ironically my experience with the Pixel 6 Pro wasn't though. Anyways the S23U has blown me away and no way do I miss Apple
I think it really depends on the user. For example, I’m not really a person that gets jazzed about “customizations” … I want my phone to be reliable, fast, simple interface, and have strong staying power with updates. Hate it or love it, iPhone does well with that. Especially if you’re like myself, and having the watch, and use a MacBook as a work driver on a daily basis. Seamless, easy, and predictable- nothing wrong with that.
The thing I don't get is that Samsung is the exactly same thing, but with the option to customize. If you don't, things will still work without any work required at all, you can just use the phone and that's it, still reliable, fast, easy and simple... for me that's selling a lack of features more than stability.
Samsung is the exact same thing tho. Minus the ecosystem, but they are working on it with Microsoft. One ui 5.1 is extremely smooth and reliable and Android as a whole is simple. You don't need to go into deep customization if you don't want to.😊
@@Codyslxn my opinion those who has lot of free time can use android because Android has too many customization option that makes user life super complex. The person who has lot of free time and has no family friend colleague to talk with , then he can use android. IMO Apple ecosystem has the best solution for those who has very little time to use smartphone after giving time to work/family/friends/personal. Because Apple smartphone System is so efficient convenient smooth reliable and most secured that one can use their precious time with ease and Efficiency. So the person who actually has lot of time and no specific aim of spending time will go for complex android specially super duper complex Samsung. All I said from my personal experience.
@@ashrafuddin4641 err i think you are too busy that you dont even have time to think. you know apple offers less yet you find it reasonable to pay more? lol😂
Both Samsung and Apple phones have their pros and cons. I'm an S22 ultra user but I also have an iPhone 12 for work. I think that if i weren't a techie and I needed something really simple and easy to find my texting, photos etc., I'd go Apple. iPhones are great for grandparents and thats part of the reason they're so popular, mass appeal. But if you know tech, you should be running a Samsung. Tech-wise, they're objectively better.
I'm pretty confident that apple is going to drastically shrink as a company when the boomers die out, if they don't change their business model that is.
Fantastic video Pete, your balance on the positive and negative of both iPhone and Samsung is a refreshing change.Your opinions are very similar to mine, my personal phone is apple and work phone Samsung I don’t mind either platform tbh but I find iOS just that little bit more intuitive but like you wouldn’t be upset using the s23 at all. Also after your review of the ultra I purchased from Costco at a much reduced cost bringing the watch prices a little closer just to put a spanner in the works 😊
I have always switched from Samsung to Apple every year or so. I use media software (Google Photos, Spotify, Amazon Prime ) that function on both platforms so I never had a problem. I currently have the iPhone 14 Pro Max but the camera software has been extremely disappointing. The Samsung screens and cameras are just plain AMAZING! It might be time to switch again.
@@auralplex actually being a film aficionado Spielberg and Zwick are my favorites old school with Snyder and Fuqua being my more current creators. Switched from iphone after the 4s. Never really regretted it. Sometimes I get tempted by camera but then I think if I really want the best photos, Samsung will just catch up and sure enough they do with software improvements each time!
I just swichted to Android last year. Really great decision. And breaking from ecosystem was really easy tbh. Unlocking macbook and iPhone with Apple watch never worked for me 😂😂😂
People act like the Apple ecosystem is so flawless. I always had issues w/my watch unlocking my MacBook. It only worked half the time. I had to always enable that setting because it would just randomly stop working.
@@kirillt6422 android is more open source and is more complicated but has more things you can do. It also works better if you have a pc, ect. just look up the benefits lol
So I didn't even know about using the spacebar for cursor control, but just tried in on the stock keyboard on my S23U and it works well with both side to side and up and down movement. It's not quite the free-range movement you showed in your video of the iPhone, but since it's just for navigating text, I think you'd find it works well.
Nice review from an Apple user standpoint. Just one thing, you mentioned you couldn't reach the left side of the phone one handed to swipe back, you can also do this from the right side of the screen too which is much easier one handed.
Snapdragon chip, bigger vapor chamber, Android, OneUi: those S23 are almost everything i want in a smartphone. I'm sure, sales will be great for Samsung, bigger than Pixel 7 smartphones. So much people have waited for Snapdragon. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on Samsung is like winning Champions League
Even for US folks this new Snapdragon is a also huge upgrade. In fact, last years Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was a terrible chip and very inefficient (basically just as bad as the Exynos). This year Snapdragon has moved to a much better manufacturing foundry and the performance and efficiency improvements are very big.
I'm upgrading from the note 10, I use the pen all the time so it was a no brainer to get the ultra. Really the only thing keeping me from the s22 was the color options. I don't know why, but the color of the phone and its native cases are really important to me. I guess I have to be picky about everything when it costs me $950 after trade-in
I'm doing the same upgrade right now. I've been using the S-Pen since the Note 4. As once as I got use to using the S-Pen, it's makes using any other phone seem limited haha.
Android is so intuitive to use and navigate, you can go from one end of your app drawer to the other in an instant, switching between apps is simultaneous, and multitasking is such a useful thing once you begin to use it
The biggest barrier blocking me to move to android completely is actually the accessories like apple watch and airtags. I so far cannot find a not even close experience from other smartwatches to apple watches. But yes, iPhones are so boring.
@@7xphos not even close to Apple watch. I returned the watch 5 on the same day it arrives. And if you search for scientific review for watches on RUclips, you will know how inaccurate the heart rate tracking the galaxy watches are. Even including the newer watch 6s. Really disappointed at Samsung that they decided to make more features instead of making more accurate features.
Ya I just bought a garmin watch instead of a Samsung watch. I really like it. However I've never used an apple watch. My garmin lasts way longer than an apple watch tho. Could be a consideration for you.
There are the Galaxy Tags and the newest generation was also recently released. I also own a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and I gotta say it's amazing. It runs very smooth and looks great!
Refreshing, very cool unbiased video. I didnt know about the space bar feature. I just tried it on my S23 Ultra and i was able to move it left, right, up and down with ease ! I do find it easier to click on the text and get the cursor exactly where i want it to be (compared to Iphone where it selects the whole word instead of moving the cursor) Anyways, thanks for the amazing tip 😁😁
14:25 You can swipe both left and right side on android to go back. You don't need to reach for the left side. It has been one on the things IOS has not done just to make things difficult for end users.
i dont know why..everyone misses out to mention the Samsung Dex feature. could turn your s23ultra into a mini computer.use a usb hub with hdmi and u cld use a wireless mouse keyboard as well. i dont think apple offers something like the Dex feature. its an amazing feature that not many talks about
As an Apple user, you probably haven't considered using your phone as a backup computer. With iPhone, that just isn't an option or even something you think about. With a Samsung and a keyboard and mouse (with a hub, you can attach hard drives and other peripherals as well), you can use your phone as a backup or even primary computer. I don't know that I'd want to do video and photo editing on one, but excel, word processing, etc. are all no compromise possibilities.
@@auralplex I do it all the time. I simply plug in my bluetooth keyboard and wireless mouse that I carry around and plug it into the tv. I'm not trying to do video editing, etc. Just simple web browsing, spreadsheets, etc. Only you idiot Apple users would never consider this.
S-pen stays in most of the time for me but it has been PERFECT for screenshots. No fiddling around with button presses or gestures, I just crop out what I want to screenshot with the s-pen and it's saved. It's so seamless and been perfect for the times I've screenshot that I really value having it with my phone.
If you like the color of your Ultra, you can buy a clear Otterbox Symmetry. I bought the green Ultra and got the clear case for once. Also convenient for me to store my work ID badge in behind the case and keep it visible.
I use both, but if Apple feels like it‘s stuck in a well-appointed prison, Samsung has a very sensational, free custom settings and a camera that compares to expensive cameras. It’s really overwhelming Apple in terms of convenience because it maintains compatibility with Windows that doesn‘t envy Apple.
The smallest feature yet most noticeable out of the gate for me are the notification icons at the top of the screen on android. Can't tell you how many times I forgot to check a notification on iphone simply because you havr to swipe a menu to see them.
If you having trouble reaching the left hand side of your screen on the s23 then you can switch to "one handed mode" which makes using your phone much easier with one hand! Yes they thought about that too
Tap twice on the Home button. It gives you a smaller screen area to navigate for one handed use. Samsung has had that feature on their phones since the Note 4 came out in 2014. Maybe even earlier.
I wish I could switch but with my brief stint with Samsung the thing I missed most was being able to FaceTime my family as most of them don’t understand tech and also my Apple Watch. I wanted to like the galaxy watch and tried to find alternatives but the Apple Watch was the hardest thing to replace for me
You know you can set the always on display to display detailed info of the notifications on the s23U right ? You said that it doesn't dysplay as much info as your iphone, but just go to settings, lock screen and you have notifications there, just selet detailed and you will see them detailed as on the iphone ( this ia a feature android has for some years now tho )
I've got an iPhone 13 & I get it,gets so boring & tedious at times. My husbands just upgraded to the s23 from the s20. The camera on his s23 is phenomenal 🥺🥺 I've been using my dad's s20,to see if I can change to samsung. I'm getting the s23 ultra in a couple of days 😀😀🤣🤣
A phone is a phone for me, so I may be boring by nature, but I have no interest in my phone being anything other than just doing stuff when I need it and doing it as well as I expect. I am older gen, so I do not care about stuff the youngsters do. I think simple is underrated, and maybe why the iPhone has done so well so far.
Always had Samsung. Loads of friends have iphones but I'm seriously not tempted to move. Now have Note 20 ultra (can't bear to loose micro sd card!) and a fun Flip 4 . Agree about Secure Folder. Don't think that's available on non Samsung phones. I also use daily the S pen and scroll capture [try it!]. Also now using the zoom camera feature that went live on my Watch 4 last week. Find the best use for the watch is calorie counter in conjuction with S health. I know the Note has the slow processor but it's milliseconds so I'll stick with it another year! Sorry u had trouble with pay. My bank (Nationwide) supports Samsung and Google pay.
@ChaseNSmoke I'm having to accept the inevitable or down grade to a mid price Samsung that still offers sd card slot. But I bought a 400 gb card for my Note 8. It was used in the 9 and now the Note 20 ultra meaning I could save 3 lots of money by not going for each phone with the biggest memory + it's dead easy to flip out and reload.
The samsung pay / google wallet thing is a huge deal though ! But it's actually most banks' fault i think, they often support Apple pay and nothing else, almost like Apple is the only smartphone brand for them... But recently i just straight up removed google services from my phone for privacy and battery life, so i can't pay with my phone either way
I’m glad someone brought up Apple Pay vs Samsung and google pay.. I think the only thing stopping me is the apple wallet app . Every time I buy something online Apple Pay is always available I buy a movie ticket it automatically loads in my wallet .
@@spiraldrifter As long as your bank is supported, Google pay will do the same. The problem is that most banks decided to only support Apple's offering. I know it's the case for my bank
I have added my credit card to Curve and linked that to Samsung wallet. It works everywhere that supports card payments. I have used it in several countries too.
@@Jbrimbelibap It's just the smaller, stingy banks that don't support Google Pay. Either that, or, it's mostly in markets where contactless payments are relatively new.
Ive got the s23 ultra, and in my science courses i snap pictures through the microscope lenses (not the easiest as it switches between im guessing the 1x and .5x camera, but very helpful) and use the s-pen to write notes or point out important features on whatever slide im looking at. Very helpful for that for sure
Great video. For smaller hands, you can adjust the size of the keyboard on the Galaxy yes? Also, you can customize the back button at the bottom of the screen (have it on the left side, which is intuitive, but on the right side is more ergonomic as your thumb travels a shorter distance and is the most used button). Keep up the awesome work!
I like the pen soley because it's an option when needed. Don't use it much but when i need it, I'm really glad to have it. From Writing quick notes, signing documents, drawing on documents and fine tune adjustments.
If you use zorin os or any kde plasma based distro, using kde connect or zorin connect takes the integration to new level. Sending clipboard to and from the phone and laptop. Using remote touchpad, keyboard, sending files in between the devices. Syncing notification and all. It's breathtaking
My main concern is seting Revolut in Slovenia (on Iphone is no problem). And android auto-battery consumption. Iphone is boring to me, would prefer Android
I have the s23 ultra, it is too smooth with no hickups, it breaks the notion that android always hangs, I don't know how they did this optimization, but it is cool imo.
If you're really an Apple fanboy then you're deep into the ecosystem like many of us. If you switch to an Android phone then it becomes a huge monkey wrench in the chain. I know it well because Monday to Thursday I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max then I use an Android device from Friday to Sunday night. I take my SIM card and move it around. At one point I had 4 phones in rotation. I just sold my S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra and Google Pixel 6 Pro. So I'm down to the iPhone and S21 Ultra only. The Pixel isn't my jam, apparently I like Samsung UI 5 even though my house runs on Google Nest products (doorbell, outdoor cameras, thermostat, etc). Now I am ready to build a second ecosystem with Samsnung. I have a phone, gonna buy Samsung Watch 5 and Earbuds2 Pro next.
I have been with Samsung for years and I have a S21+ but I think Google's material you looks way better than one UI on Samsung and really thinking of switching over to pixel but trying to wait and see what the pixel watch 2 and pixel 8 series brings to the table
naa, I switched back to my 14 pros yesterday, the s23 ultra is great and all, but it's very different and doesn't feel as smooth and organized as IOS. besides, surprisingly the battery lasts longer on my 14 pro
I have Samsung pay via Curve. Its the best payment system, IMO. It gives you the same privileges as the black edition Curve card. Maybe it's changed as I don't remember having the same issues you report. The only negative is that Curve do not have customer support. I like the Samsung ecosystem BUT its very hard to implement headline features such as colour palette on your phone to use on your tablet. Apples ecosystem is much easier to implement. Link to Windows is a mess in my experience, I use HP quick drop with my PC for file transfer.
Really happy to have seen this! I made the switch back to Apple about 2 years ago. I went from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to the 14 Pro Max, and the experience was nice, the ecosystem has been nice, but I recently made the switch back to Android with the Samsung Galaxy S23. After using the S23 for a week though, I hated it... The battery life compared to the iPhone is terrible, so before I lose my 14-day return on the phone, ill be swapping out the S23 for the S23 Ultra, better camera, a much bigger battery, seems like the no-brainer choice i need!
Why iPhone is great: 1. Camera video quality 2. Ecosystem of Apple products Why I will always choose Android: 1. Almost on par with iPhone's video quality 2. Expanded ecosystem (Interoperability with Windows etc.) 3. Pretty much everything else as the possibilities are endless. It's a true pocket computer.
All these phones are great, they offer something unique, but I would stick with S23U because of that S-Pen - unique feature causing lack of real competition for that device.
It's worth considering turning on the light performance mod on the 23, I think you lose around 10% performance for over double the power efficiency/battery life
Just moved from iPhone to Samsung S23 Ultra .... must say the move was frustrating. I like the S23 Ultra, but many things do feel clunky compared to iPhone.
As a certified Samsung Fanboy, the S22 Ultra is a horrendous phone in comparison to the S23. I received my S23 Yesterday (Admittedly with a broken screen, thanks Samsung) and I just tested a few things with it, such as running benchmarks, which the S23 almost doubled the S22 in, and my favourite test was how long it takes to install apps. My S23, did it in roughly 1 seconds after downloading. My S22 Exynos, averaged around 18 seconds. Huge improvements, and a huge thank you to Samsung for finally dropping Exynos.
Calendar: if you connect your google account to your Apple calendar app, you can create new events in the Apple Calendar app and still have them show up on google calendar for your partner/SO. Photos: Google Photos backs up photos to the cloud and you can view and download individual or multiple photos at any time from your phone or web browser. Messages: android phones have iMessage-like features when texting other android phones (just like iPhone texting iPhone). If you use the Google Messages app, you can view and send texts from a web browser on your PC/Mac.

I've been using the S23 Ultra X10 zoom for football matches been great if only a little too zoomed in I need to get further away hah..but it looks amazing. Maybe S24 Ultra can have a x0.6, x1, x3, x5, X10 lens 😆 I've also installed gboard don't think much to the Samsung keyboard well the keyboard is fine but it doesn't learn your spelling habits like google's gboard.
I have the new pixel and pixel buds. I love them and was thinking about getting the pixel watch. I came really close , and then I thought about the reason I wear my Garmin watch every day. Battery like is 12 days instead on 22 hours or a day and a half if you are lucky. So I guess I'm not all in on the Google / pixel ecosystem. 🤷🏽♂️
for pixel watch id wait for the second or third gen. I have the samsung watch 5 and its been great for me. But Samsung matured in that space. Pixel has still some way to go.
The difference between the Exynos and Snapdragon processors has been blown way out of proportion. As a Exynos S22U owner I can wholeheartedly say that I have experience zero performance issues and I bet that outside of artificial benchmarks absolutely nobody will notice the difference between the two chipsets in normal use.

Also you don't have to touch the left side of the phone to swipe left. You can just swipe left and right from pretty much anywhere on the screen.
I think people overlook one thing about the space zoom that I've found massively helpful. Being able to zoom in on parking time signs and building hours from far away is amazing since the signs are always so small.
So true, that's the real reason I appreciate the zoom.

Yea I agree and also really small tags and similar stuff if I dont have glasses

I've just jumped ship from apple to android, I've gone from the iPhone 14 Pro max to the s23 ultra, been with apple for years, but I'm enjoying the swith surprisingly 👌🏻
Awesome! 🙌
Why switch from such a new phone? Tired of Apple or something?
@Mein_KampfyChair yea, I just found apple stale at the moment, fancied a change, I'll go back to apple at some point, I'll see what the iPhone 15 has to offer, if it's more or less the same, I'll stay with android till the the next iPhone.
I actually just did the same thing😂
Thanks!
The 6 pro was a very buggy mess. 7 pro was much improved. But the S23 is absolutely flying for me! Such a pleasure to use

Yeah, because unlike iOS, Android is well designed xD

I recently switched to Android and it's the best decision I've ever made. My Google Pixel 6 Pro is legit one of the best phones I've ever used.
The Samsung calendar is GREAT 👍🏻
Snapdragon chip, bigger vapor chamber, Android, OneUi: those S23 are almost everything i want in a smartphone. I'm sure, sales will be great for Samsung, bigger than Pixel 7 smartphones. So much people have waited for Snapdragon.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on Samsung is like winning Champions League
Keen to see the Fold 4 with the gen 2!
The space zoom is a party trick, but when Apple gets it it'll be an innovative wonder.
My phone has a 8 gen 1 😂

I'm upgrading from the note 10, I use the pen all the time so it was a no brainer to get the ultra. Really the only thing keeping me from the s22 was the color options. I don't know why, but the color of the phone and its native cases are really important to me. I guess I have to be picky about everything when it costs me $950 after trade-in
I'm doing the same upgrade right now. I've been using the S-Pen since the Note 4. As once as I got use to using the S-Pen, it's makes using any other phone seem limited haha.

Nobody is doing this. Absolutely nobody.
@@auralplex I do it all the time. I simply plug in my bluetooth keyboard and wireless mouse that I carry around and plug it into the tv. I'm not trying to do video editing, etc. Just simple web browsing, spreadsheets, etc. Only you idiot Apple users would never consider this.
you can swipe down on the bottom of the screen to switch the phone in a single-hand mode if you need to.
S-pen stays in most of the time for me but it has been PERFECT for screenshots. No fiddling around with button presses or gestures, I just crop out what I want to screenshot with the s-pen and it's saved. It's so seamless and been perfect for the times I've screenshot that I really value having it with my phone.
I refuse to call "Dynamic island" a feature. It is a notch that apple couldnt work out how to get rid of.
TIP @4:09 you can also rename the "secure folder" which makes whatever you store there even more discreet.
If you like the color of your Ultra, you can buy a clear Otterbox Symmetry. I bought the green Ultra and got the clear case for once. Also convenient for me to store my work ID badge in behind the case and keep it visible.
For the keyboard one , that is already available in the native Samsung keyboard.
Yes they thought about that too
The galaxy already has a password manager whether you use chrome or samsung. You can also save card infor, passport, digital keys etc.
Tap twice on the Home button. It gives you a smaller screen area to navigate for one handed use.
Samsung has had that feature on their phones since the Note 4 came out in 2014. Maybe even earlier.
The regular Samsung keyboard does allow you to use the cursor as a proper mouse, it allows you to go up and down too.
There is small screen view if you flick down from the bottom, massively helps with reachability
Just keep both... no need to fully switch. Just live in both ecosystems.

@Daniel Moore google is nowhere near better then samsung ui or anything samsung
naa, I switched back to my 14 pros yesterday, the s23 ultra is great and all, but it's very different and doesn't feel as smooth and organized as IOS. besides, surprisingly the battery lasts longer on my 14 pro
Hows it going so far? I wanna upgrade my iphone 13, but I'm questioning if I should move to S23 ultra or not.
@@fulldaywork4200 I love it, absolutely no complaints :)
No wonder the battery is worse s23 is one of the smallest phones on the market
Why iPhone is great:
1. Camera video quality
2. Ecosystem of Apple products
Why I will always choose Android:
1. Almost on par with iPhone's video quality
2. Expanded ecosystem (Interoperability with Windows etc.)
3. Pretty much everything else as the possibilities are endless. It's a true pocket computer.
All these phones are great, they offer something unique, but I would stick with S23U because of that S-Pen - unique feature causing lack of real competition for that device.
the keyboard thing is on Samsung's keyboard settings, and it's amazingly smooth
It's worth considering turning on the light performance mod on the 23, I think you lose around 10% performance for over double the power efficiency/battery life

You don’t have to download anything to increase shutter speed btw, it’s available in the settings
