@@Dannyv1987 how does your baterry hold on? I keep going back to my 15ProMax due to battery. The 24U battery gets me 'almost' through the day, while my iPhone still has about 30-35% remaining. This was a major issue for me, to carry a portable battery or find a plug
Great video, I am an s24 ultra user. Love the battery life and camera abilities. Never used an IPhone but the comparison was great their both great phones.
I started off Android then switch to iPhone. Been with Apple for along time and I’m heavily invested but it comes at a cost. I’ve been eyeing Samsung for a while now. I may just try the switch because I’m bored with apple and tired of paying all these subscriptions.lol
I use Bixby quite regularly when driving. Typically for setting a reminder in the Samsung Reminder app (which is not bad at all) or taking a note in Samsung Notes (which sync to my OneNote.
If she switched then sharing family photos between you is easy again with quick share and quick share now also works with windows laptops too (no airdrop for windows with Apple)
the animations on samsung and oneplus are generally slower because they focus on fluidity, whereas xiaomi tried to make the animations fast. so when i switched from my xiaomi phone to OP 7 first thing i did was scale down the animator durations.
My experience with android phones over the many years, is that they don't tend to age well. Support is not always a given either. Apple's iphones tend to carry their weight for far longer, and are often more stress free. If you have an ipad as well, which is kind of a given considering the status of the non-apple tablet market these days, it enhances the phone experience.

Found your channel cause I’m looking for a new Monitor. Fully for productivity, no gaming or movies. Is the 57” Samsung G9 your daily driver or has the 40” Dell ultra sharp taken that spot? Follow up if the 57” Samsung was OLED and had thunderbolt 4 it would be an easy buy. What’s the closest monitor to that in your opinion?
For battery life, I am limiting the upper limit of charge to 80%, and I have no issues. You have a lot of customizations to control that will prolong battery life
It is always nice to refresh with something new to you. Thats why I might try the Apples ecosystem 😁. I have iPhone as workphone and few things that I value in daily that is, display color calibration and picture colors straight from phone are more pleasing to me. Not that I know anything about color science etc. This is just opinion and how I see.
Well I got this a month after launch in March... This has been one of the easiest phones to keep, coz I barely notice any flaws to switch... ! And by now I've bought 12 cases for this one...!! Coz its so beautiful, you want to keep decorating it..!!
Once the RCS update on iOS 18 comes out it’ll change a lot for iPhone users cause you won’t need what’s app at all or anything in between it’s gonna be awesome
Honestly more I use this phone cause I am trying it out. The more I want to keep it. I love drawing silly things with spen and music change while not having to look at my phone using S-Pen is quite good.
ahh thanks man! Yeah we're really trying to level up these videos - using the right tracks is one of our big focuses recently. Glad it's being noticed! ❤️
About the NFC, try paying by placing the phone vertically from the charging slot or simply horizontally from the bottom, not from the top near the camera like an iPhone.
Oh yeah no worries - I've nailed the position now! But you're right, I've been so used to just tapping the top of the iPhone for so long, it's taken me a while to figure that out ;)
I currently use a iPhone 15 Pro Max. Have been on the Apple bandwagon for years. Am considering switching to the Samsung Galaxy S 25 Ultra when it’s released. I still have a MacBook Pro for recording music and currently for videos. How hard is it going to be to have a Samsung phone vs Apple everything else?
First I’m hearing about the battery life. I’m contemplating switching myself to the S25 Ultra when it’s released…..Question: how can I access my iCloud email on the Samsung?
How is Samsung’s camera performance on moving subjects? My S20 FE is unable to keep up with my daughter if she doesn’t cooperate, so we always have to use our iPhone in this case
I do use bixby quite a bit for setting reminders and checking schedules, its pretty useful, since it is baked in with the Samsung suite of apps that I use quite often.
S you disagree that the A17 is currently the fastest chip, and the numerous battery tests that show the 15 pro max battery lasting longer than the s24 ultra?
I dunno man. It's so difficult to tell - I literally took my iPhone with me on a plane and it was dead by like 4/5pm. Battery has been bad on the S24 Ultra but not that bad.
It's not that simple. Android as an OS+ Samsung's skin on top runs a lot more background processes than an Iphone. So you can't say that the chip itself is the reason for the better battery life.
I used Bixby to set routines which was very helpful. For Eg. when I leave my house, the phone automatically turns on mobile data, switches off wifi, charges from vibrate to ringing etc. and vice versa. It's kinda neet and unparalleled compared to any other voice assistant in this regard.
Nope, I think the ending should have been more balanced as I wanted it to leave an open ended question with no answer of which one I stuck with, because ultimate - it doesn’t matter what phone you use 😁
Definitely a bixby user 😅. It's not a google replacement. It's to control the phone without internet. Like turn on the data, location, calculations, opening app when driving or can't use it with hand ( for some reason ) which google wouldn't do without internet.

@@Dannyv1987 how does your baterry hold on? I keep going back to my 15ProMax due to battery. The 24U battery gets me 'almost' through the day, while my iPhone still has about 30-35% remaining. This was a major issue for me, to carry a portable battery or find a plug
Brilliant video 👏👏 And as a fellow S24 Ultra owner, my kids (and nieces) definitely seem to use the s-pen way more often than I ever do as well!
🤣 it's a nice distraction that's for sure!
I loved the video, great job! But i especially loved the ending with all the pics and vids! They all looked incredible!!!
Thanks man, appreciated! Lots of work went into this one 🙌🏼
Well done 👏
Just Amazing and i dont care about the war between apple and Samsung anymore.
So peaceful ✌🏻
Thanks man! Great to see likeminded people take the video for what it is - a great phone, doesn't matter which side of the fence people sit on :)
@PeteMatheson So true, bro. God bless you and your family. ♥️🙏🏻 #blessed #familylove
I may just try the switch because I’m bored with apple and tired of paying all these subscriptions.lol
haha! Yep, right there with you there
I use Bixby quite regularly when driving.
Yeah it's definitely a big help. iOS feels super sloooow now 😬
My experience with android phones over the many years, is that they don't tend to age well. Support is not always a given either. Apple's iphones tend to carry their weight for far longer, and are often more stress free. If you have an ipad as well, which is kind of a given considering the status of the non-apple tablet market these days, it enhances the phone experience.
Always been a Samsung user, decided to get the iphone14 when it came out as a little switch up! It’s been okay but I’ve just order the S24 Ultra and I can’t wait to be back to trusty old Samsung!
Nice! How have you found the iPhone when coming from Samsung before?
Been using S24 Ultra for about 2 weeks, idk but I feel like the camera could have better colours :( any tip?
@@Primitivumsounds like you need a pixel? 👀
@@Craig__HHH I guess... I actually sold it and went back to my iPhone 15, base model, photos/videos are great again.
Amazing video and useful review.. as usual.. keep it up man!
Thanks man, appreciate you watching and commenting!
M also watching on my s24u primary phone is 16 plus but video quality is missing here also there are so many features that i am just customizing this beast for the last 3 days and still many things are remaining 😅
Awesome video bro ❤
You my friend have a NEW SUBSCRIBER!
Great content ♥️
Siiiick! Thanks man, appreciate the view, comment + sub!
So you switched back to iPhone?
He cooked with this one!
Wait!! What kind of keyboard is that?! How do you get it to light up
@@Marty6192 i want to know that too
@@Marty6192 not sure what the specific keyboard is, but the lighting feature is RGB. Alot of gaming keyboards have it
@@Marty6192 Goodlock app from galaxy store
i loved this video, it makes me wanna try the samsung s24 ultra too (if only i have money to burn)... and jeez, the last part of the memories was a nice touch, a tear dropped and now i'll keep wondering what to do
🙌🏼 so glad you enjoyed it. Trying to make these videos better every time!
New subscriber here, very well done. I seem to bounce back and forth from iPhone to Galaxy phones. I do it quite often and I after making a switch I find myself just weeks and sometimes days wanting to swap back. I think I have a problem :)
haha! Join the club 😂 And a huge welcome for being a new subscriber, thank you!
Switching keeps it fun, it's definitely not a problem.... I think ;)
Me too lol
What about Apple Music? What about all the music that you bought from Apple? Is there a way to move it over? I have watched a bunch of your videos and no mention of this and it is my biggest concern about moving.
Apple Music? You just install the Apple Music app and carry on! 😁
@@PeteMatheson even songs you bought and downloaded show up? You don’t have to pay for it?
@@lowridinpacker when you buy songs on itunes, they're stored on your apple ID account so it will transfer to the app on any phone as long as you sign in with that account
Thank you for conveying your experience with utmost credibility, and this is something that deserves thanks
Appreciated! Thank you
Found your channel cause I’m looking for a new Monitor. Fully for productivity, no gaming or movies.
Is the 57” Samsung G9 your daily driver or has the 40” Dell ultra sharp taken that spot? Follow up if the 57” Samsung was OLED and had thunderbolt 4 it would be an easy buy. What’s the closest monitor to that in your opinion?
.... I'm not sure what u mean by change the side key. I can't deactivate google assistant from that button.
You simply are a fascinating person to listen to.
Once the RCS update on iOS 18 comes out it’ll change a lot for iPhone users cause you won’t need what’s app at all or anything in between it’s gonna be awesome
I just can’t get over how unattractive the sharp square design is, though I’m sure some people love it!
I love the design. iPhone user for years and seriously thinking of getting a Samsung next upgrade!!!!
@jpraiders653 i love the square design. It's beautiful to me. I don't like round edges anymore, with a case, you don't notice the square corners.
Honestly more I use this phone cause I am trying it out. The more I want to keep it. I love drawing silly things with spen and music change while not having to look at my phone using S-Pen is quite good.
🙌🏼
1st. Dang what a video. Kodus to your effort on this video. 👏
Thank you so much!
@@PeteMatheson I also loved the other video that started with Bruno mars - Just the way you are. It was PEAK !
ahh thanks man! Yeah we're really trying to level up these videos - using the right tracks is one of our big focuses recently. Glad it's being noticed! ❤️
I have one question, have you tried the new Galaxy Ultra watch
About the NFC, try paying by placing the phone vertically from the charging slot or simply horizontally from the bottom, not from the top near the camera like an iPhone.
Oh yeah no worries - I've nailed the position now! But you're right, I've been so used to just tapping the top of the iPhone for so long, it's taken me a while to figure that out ;)
@petematheson I'm confused by the ending...so you did go back to the iPhone?
Doesn’t really matter what I did. Everyone’s open to make their own choice 😉
I like the iPhone a lot but I went to s23 ultra last year and I just traded it in for the z fold 6 and I don't regret it, yet
You don't even need an S24 ultra to love and stay in Android. That's what most people don't even know.
That’s the only sad thing about Galaxies… the battery goes bad literally in months.
What are you recommending between google or samsung wallet
I use Google since not all my cards work on Samsung wallet.
I have both and couldn't decide which one to keep, so I just use both of them.
Haha! Nice, yeah they're both great 👍🏼
S you disagree that the A17 is currently the fastest chip, and the numerous battery tests that show the 15 pro max battery lasting longer than the s24 ultra?
I dunno man. It's so difficult to tell - I literally took my iPhone with me on a plane and it was dead by like 4/5pm.
Battery has been bad on the S24 Ultra but not that bad.
@@PeteMatheson what iphone model? my 15 pro max last 7 hours of screen on time, even though i only charge to 80%. even more if airplane mode is on
It's not that simple. Android as an OS+ Samsung's skin on top runs a lot more background processes than an Iphone.
So you can't say that the chip itself is the reason for the better battery life.
Loving my Galaxy S24 Ultra 1TB 💛
No need to upgrade for at least 4 years with that beast bud
nice Video, i love your open mind, Great Guy😘😘
I used Bixby to set routines which was very helpful. For Eg. when I leave my house, the phone automatically turns on mobile data, switches off wifi, charges from vibrate to ringing etc. and vice versa. It's kinda neet and unparalleled compared to any other voice assistant in this regard.
I didn't understand. Did he return to iPhone ?
Nope, I think the ending should have been more balanced as I wanted it to leave an open ended question with no answer of which one I stuck with, because ultimate - it doesn’t matter what phone you use 😁
Definitely a bixby user 😅. It's not a google replacement. It's to control the phone without internet. Like turn on the data, location, calculations, opening app when driving or can't use it with hand ( for some reason ) which google wouldn't do without internet.
Those memories looked amazing, thank you for trying the S24 Ultra and give and informed opinion 🤝
You can definitely change the behaviour of the side button - I have done so on my S23 plus, S22 and S9.
I have all my digital movies on the Apple TV app. Is the Apple TV app available on the s24 ultra?
