I was thinking of doing that also but decided not to. The wires were very secure and the other car battery chargers that I have did not have any soldering where the wire connects to the clamp. Thank you for the comment and thank you for watching. :)
@@krucydoesgardeningstuff6785 I personally have never seen alligator clips like in your video where you can just clamp down so it hangs onto the wire. I watched like 5 videos similar to this and none of them soldered so maybe it is not as normal as I thought.

I have a charger and the clamps are missing. Can you tell which is positive and negative by looking at the wires or do I need a tester to tell. Thanks

I hope the video helps. Sometimes there is even a red line on the positive wire.
