How long does it last with the solar power?
I've had it last for quite awhile, but yet I do not use it very often. I keep it in a sunny window sill as much as I can. I have not really had the light die out on me yet.
Another oil filter that can be used is made by Hengst part#: H14W27.
Very helpful. Thanks for sharing!
can't wait to find out which one you like best
I'm sure that I'll like them all. For me it's kind of hard to not like garlic (I hope I said that right. lol).
The garden is doing great. Never heard of those kinds of tomatoes, they look so good
Most years I'll grow some of the same stuff plus some stuff that would be new and different if I'm able too.
Had a storm here, some fell of the plant on the ground. I took them inside and are on the window counter now.
I love these stoves,I have one in my car,and used it for many trips
I'm very happy with how it works also.
I would love to start doing bread making..I was wondering what size thank you!
Maybe the 1.5 liter would be good so that at least you have more than enough space for what you want. But keep in mind that Weck jars are a bit more expensive than the regular Mason jars.
Great April's Fools video
winter sowing at its best! That is how you get frozen peas!
I had a bad gardening year last year. But I'm going to try again. Have a blessed weekend.
I will be doing another garden again also. Just going to see what I did different for 2022 so that I don't do it in 2023.
Hello. Nice to meet you. Nice catalogs.
Nice to meet you too. There are a lot of interesting things in the catalogues, unfortunatly not enough space and time to grow them all.
New Sub here! great video!
Thank you for coming and I'm glad that you enjoyed the video. 🙂
ALWAYS use a NEW crush washer (aluminum or copper) on your sump pan drain bolt and then tighten it to the torque recommended for your particular car - usually between 18 - 22 ft lbs. The crush washer prevents stripping the threads and also provides a better seal. Also, pre-fill the oil filter with new oil to prevent a dry start and be sure to coat the rubber gasket with oil before installing it. Make sure the old gasket from the removed oil filter did not stick to the engine.
Thank you for adding to the information. 🙂
Ours is small also. What Hickory said..plus I need to learn more locally here, still a great harvest.
William dam seeds is one of my favorite! Just received a small box from them! Can't wait to start!
Cool! :)
Nice haul you got there! You'll sure have a great season with all that!

@@krucydoesgardeningstuff6785 You're welcome. I just figured it would help to have some comments and to share some details :)
@@james0000 It was more than helpful! 🙂
The hissing at the end was some butane leaking from the butane can which stoped after I took the butane can away from the stove. I tested it a few more times with the stove and it worked ok afterward. I guess another reason that it should be used outdoors.
Ok, this is pretty cool. Definitely some that I have never of before. Great explanations as well. Thanks for sharing and being awesome!
You should check out these two places, they have a lot of interesting things. I like checking out especially what they have for tomatoes for example. migardener.com/ www.rareseeds.com/
Alot of people seemed to have had a bad season in 2022, Hopefully 2023 will be better for ya! Thanks for sharing and being awesome.
Ours wasn't good this year either. Everything was early, small, or didn't do much. Drought was tough on things.
The western US has been going trough a drought for awhile. I remember going to LA about four years ago and when I was in the airplane going over a lot of the lakes I was able to see the water levels were low, you'd sort of see stain marks on the sides of some lakes where the water levels were higher
Still a nice harvest. We had no luck with the elephant garlic this year. A couple came up but didn't develop into much. Weplant our music garlic in full sun in quite fertile ground. So I do think those were probably some factors for sure. Be sure to select the largest cloves to replant in the fall as that will make a difference over time.
Take care
I've not used them before in recipes but two things come to mind ... some kind of sauce like a pesto ... and grilling them.
Supposedly some people make a garlic scape pesto I found out recently, I have never had the pesto nor have I had them grilled. Hopefully one day soon I can give them a try! :)
Looking good! I chopped up mine into salads and put into stir fries. No scapes on my garlic yet!
I got the last of the scapes from the regular garlic (if you would want to call it that) today, I'm not sure when they'll show up on the Elephant Garlic though. I hope yours come soon.
Maybe I'll eventually do a video of the scapes from the Elephant Garlic when they start growing.

What time of the year did you do this?
It was mid April when I cleaned out the roots. I feel like I should of added some compost or something else when I replanted it.
Awesome man! Very helpful. What grade of oil did you use? Cheers!
I'm sorry for the late reply. I used 5W40, that's what is recommended by the dealership here in Canada. I'm glad that you found it helpful. :)
@@krucydoesgardeningstuff6785 no worries man, thanks again!
@@rbemuscle6058 No problem, I hope it helped.
The owner's manual for my VW Mk V Rabbit/Golf 2.5L I5 engine Volkswagen recommends VW 502 00 Spec, Castrol Edge Euro Car - 5W-40 Motor Oil for several reasons including European emissions standards and longer interval oil changes. I change mine more frequently at 5K mile intervals with a Mann oil filter and my engine burns no oil with over 162K miles on it.
ooh man that looks a good variety for a garden!
I am so happy you won!! Look at all of the seeds you got! Thank you for sharing I LOVE seeing what people got!!! Congrats again <3
Congrats! Heck yeah, look at all the seeds :) SQUASH! Coffee seeds? Cool!
I thought that I would give the coffee seeds a try.
I might have to break out my peltier modules and see if I can retrofit something to my JetBoil.
I'm not sure what Peltier Modules are. The JetBoil looks interesting!
@@krucydoesgardeningstuff6785 They are what I figure is within that BioLite. Dissimilar metals sandwiched together that generate electricity when heat us pumped from one side to the other. They are also used in reverse for solid-state cooling applications. If you power them, heat is pumped away from one side and to the other side. The JetBoil is nice, I have the old version though, they make even more efficient/powerful ones now.
@@james0000 Ah ok, cool!
Thanks for the video! It looks a bit odd, but Weck refer to the logo as their "strawberry trademark", so I guess it is indeed a strawberry. I prefer wide mouth jars as well.
It looks like it could be almost a cross between Strawberry and Raspberry! lol :)
Thanks for the follow up video about the weck jars with the glass tops!
No problem! :)
When I first heard of the name "Weck" I would think of a car racing series that I use to watch called "WEC" (World Endurance Championship), one of their well known races was/is the "24 Hours Of Le Mans" race in France that takes place in June. Their other races are about six ours long each race.

Nice
How many litres of oil?
I had a 5 liter bottle of oil and used approximately 4 liters of it, when you get to 4 liters check your oil dipstick to make sure you have it between the low and high markings even after having your engine running for a few moments after filling the oil.
Explanation can be sometime tricky. If i understood you, after filling about 4 liters, the car should be run for like a day or two and top the last liter? Please confirm.
@@nathaneal2542 I'm sorry about the late response. You don't even need the car to run more than five minutes, then you could check the oil level then top up as needed.
Oil capacity for a MK4 2.0L Golf (BEV engine) is 4.2L
See you soon
Welcome to the channel, I hope you enjoy what you see here! :)

We definitely have to get one of these. Thanks so much for doing a video to show it.
I've noticed that you'll have to check the flames every so often to make sure it does not burn out and just add your stick/pellets a bit at a time, not so much that it smothers out the flame which happen to me the first time I used this.
You might want to mix in some compost or composted manure in the hole before you replant your rhubarb.
Awesome Krucy! Love the gardening and cooking stuff!
Thank you! I'm glad that you like the stuff. :) If you have any ideas for anything Ed let me know and I'll try to do it. You should do some more duck videos if she comes again and put on RUclips. Maybe some of your garden stuff also, I'm curious to see what you have, I think you had mentioned that you had planted some stuff over the years.
I've noticed that if you need to add some more wood pellets because you're running out and you're flame is getting weaker, try not to add too much or just add a bit at a time. At one time I added too much and smothered out/ killed the flame and had to re-start it. So basically just add a little at a time not to snuff out the fire/flame.
We will warn you in advance, don't plant to many of the Gray's sweet cherry tomatoes, they can be a bit of a monster plant and each plant will produce ALOT of fruit (emphasis on the ALOT!!!) so you likely only need three or four (don't make the same mistake we did last year lol).
Excellent! Both those parsley varieties sound interesting and the mammoth Russian sunflowers are fun (and big!) Looking forward to seeing how they all grow!
Another great seed haul
Great mail Call and shout out
