That is the same elephant garlic that we picked up from our local store. Hopefully it does well for both of us. Great idea with the board. It was interesting to see the straw after talking about it in our live. Looks like it is nice stuff and will work.
I guess we can see how the Elephant Garlic from the two different companies do, the one with the paper packaging is the first time I've seen Elephant Garlic sold in stores, I've usually seen other types though, I hope yours does good also. I thought I would use the board to help with the spacing and planting, it helped a lot. The straw I got for about $11+tx, I saw another store selling the exact same size and packaging, the only difference was that it said Gardening Straw and was $29+tx, I'm sure they're basically the same stuff.
