i bought 2 sets each for $10.00 @ waltmart to replace my 2 gauge jump cables clamps...i think this ones have better grip that the energizer ones that came with my cables...especially if you have side poles on the battery

Can you clamp this to a 12v 80 amp solar battery? I have a small heater (150 w) with a sigarett lighter plug.

It might work but for a heavier load like that, I think a bolt down socket would be preferred as it would give you a better connection. I have a video on that here: ruclips.net/video/LK-hsLvaZ4E/видео.html (The video hasn't been released yet but you should still be able to access it). I have a link in the description to the socket. Whatever solution you use, I would test it to make sure none of the components are getting too hot.

I have this setup with a lifepo4 battery and I am running a fan on it for in my tent while camping. It’s a usb powered fan. The fan turns off shortly after turning it on. Been driving me crazy idk if it’s the battery or the noco cable or what

Do you have a multimeter? I would see if you can measure voltage on the battery after the fan goes off. Next, you are using a 12V to USB adapter, correct? Do you have a second adapter from a different brand you can test? Also, does the fan work when plugged into something like a USB phone charger plugged into a wall outlet?

@@Rickmakes thx. I don’t have a multimeter. Yes I’m using a 12v usb adapter. I have two of them and neither seem to work. The problem seems intermittent sometimes so I feel like it could be the connection? Oddly the fan works when I plug it into a power bank. But maybe I’ll have to try the wall usb. I know i didn’t mention this but the fan has an internal rechargeable battery but it doesn’t last long so I tend to hook it to power. It’s weird it works with the power bank I suppose that would infer it’s likely the noco product or the battery? I really don’t know I wish I was better with this stuff.

This should work on most 12V batteries. You would just need to insert a USB charger into the socket.

I haven’t. It should work so long as you stay below the 10 amp rating. Also wiggle the clamps on the terminals a bit to make sure you have a good connection.
