I firmly believed the charm and appeal of TES IV: Oblivion could never be recreated in the modern day. The ugly potato faces, the stilted awkward dialogue, horrendous AI and just bizzare design choices are all a product of 2006 and 2006 only. I keep going back to Oblivion like a drug addict and it just never hits the same because i know it all inside and out.
KC:D scratched my nasty festering Elder Scrolls shaped itch like no game ever has and i literally didn't put it down until i had 100 hours down, and it hasn't even got wizards in it.

My favorite part of how it recaptures Oblivion’s jank is entering Rattay and having it slow my pc to 12 fps just like the towns in Cyrodiil used to do. Or when it just randomly happens in the world because the game decides sub 20 frames is more cinematic. All jokes aside Kingdom Come is a blast. Looking forward to what Warhorse does next.

They specifically picked the voice actor because they wanted him to be somewhat unremarkable. Henry is just a blacksmith's boy. The lengths they went through to make this game authentic is crazy. It can be maddening such as the church section where you literally have to remember your chores and mass and such by yourself instead of getting your hands held with the game doing it for you, but at the same time it is so rewarding and ridiculously immersive.
Played through it twice, definitely worth the money. Great game, 8/10.

Combat I honestly found amazing and I liked a lot of mechanics that it used like the alchemy you LITERALLY have to experiment or get a recipe.

@@reddiamond8136 the combat is the hardest thing about the game, you have 5 different directions to move your sword, axe, mace, or polearm, up, left, bottom left, right, and bottom right, you can do certain moves while attacking in certain directions, but that will have to wait until later in the game. The quests are great, but they have no guidance, you'll have to get a walk through to know how to complete one. The world isn't that large, it takes place in a certain small section of Bohemia, now Czechia. I hope thats good enough, if you have any other questions, just ask me.
This mission was a real pain in the ass and the monastery... I don't even wanna think about it xD "You're ignoring your daily duties"

Oh man when I finished that game years ago, I was non stop jamming to Poverty and Famine. This game taught me true combat, dont think any game comes close to its combat mechanism.

While Kingdom Come wasn’t really my cup of tea, I still think that the amount of stuff to do and multiple ways of doing so is incredible. If you can invest the time to learn the game’s mechanics and you like historical-esque RPGs, Deliverance is definitely a must have. But hey, that’s just my opinion.
This is the beauty of life itself, i shall seek a way to play this game.
