Love the part where you cut the intake in half with a chainsaw LOL

Hello Mr. Fin, I have learned valuable skills from your extensive auto repair on Toyota corolla VVT_i 2000. Thank you for enriching and empowering us do it yourselfers.
Question: When you opened the intake manifold, I did not see a swivel rod attached to air flaps inside intake vent holes. I hear a ticking sound coming from the manifold intake, if these swivel flaps are flapping and restricting air flow it would cause a lean condition code .
I have checked maf sensor its ok. PCV valve was replaced 6 months ago its ok. I have sprayed intake manifold with soapy water no leaks, its ok. The car idles perfect and acceleration perfect.
I have not checked the map sensor pressure.
Possiblity question: could it be my fuel filter clogging up it has 96, 000 miles.
o2 sensor was cleaned and voltage was check at 600 degrees, it was ok.
    p0714 lean bank 1.
    What do you think?

Hi, your car gas cap could be bad. Check this: When the check engine light comes Toyota P0714 code on the first you should check is the gas cap. Pull over, retighten it, and take a look at the cap to see if it has any cracks in it. Continue driving and see if the check engine light turns off. Alternately, you can purchase a gas cap for about $3 at an auto parts store.

      Hello Mr Finn,
thank you for good advise on the gas cap because it could be because I did smell gas vapors around the the gas port. And when the gas tank was very low on gas the check engine light did disappear but when I filled the gas tank the check engine light came on again. I will report back to you in a few days, thanks again Mr. Finn.

I think it is awesome that you showed the non-drive by wire throttle guts. I wonder where to get those plastic gears? (PLASTICgears, agh! :(
I'm impressed that you drilled out those RIVETS. I guess if a person wanted to inspect or repair theirs they could put it back together with little bolts. gasket though?
    * those long round things are called hoses, not cables. Or maybe they are Tubes. I think tubing carries non-liquids like air, and hose carries liquids, although I have heard of both emission hose and emissions tubing. Haven't run across coolant tubes, only coolant hoses. heater hoses. ...Cables are bundles of wires or wiring or metal stranded "rope." I understood what you meant though, but double-take trying to figure out if I was missing some cable. I like your videos, and how you say "open" instead of undo or remove. It is nice to see someone take time and loving care working on cars. I know those manifolds are expensive, but Hell yeah, just cut that whole thing open with a chainsaw! ?? (Be careful about getting the tip, esp. the top of the tip of the saw in the work, that is what causes Dangerous "KICKBACK!" I cringed to see your foot next to that saw. eeeei! )

Hello. This intake manifold is closed part. It can't be open. But I liked to see this manifold's inside area. Motor saw is useful tool for fast opening for soft materials.

Is it possible for coolant to get from throttle body or intake on these 1zz-fe engines into combustion chamber from bad gaskets? I've got actual coolant flying out my exhaust when cold and not just water condensation although it does go away mostly when hot , no other symptoms to indicate blown head gasket, oil is good not over heating no bubbles in radiator. I know from your hose video that coolant does run through throttle body really hoping it's something today with that, I have cable not electronic. Cheers Peter your videos are so informative.

If the intake manifold has enough space and more volume...It adds more power
