It was really awesome to see him recently in one of your videos. I went into engineering research and never dragged again. But I'll always remember that funny car at Formosa, and the legend who drove it.
Jack I love all KZ… I guess my favorite in this video was the one with the senior rider… I am 65 and I still ride my 78 KZ 1000… it makes me feel young. Unfortunately they close Englishtown, now I have to go to Adco. And I love your Blue KZ.Happy to see your dad still rides

I have a new one 2016 Suzuki GSX-S1000 with a ton of mods to lighten and up the horse power! It’s straight 2” exhaust with headers, PC5, short levers, windshield it’s just mint and got stuff all over it! Has 6k miles on it and it’s always been garaged! I weight 280lbs and I run 10.5’s on it at my local track! I believe if I added nos I could go right on down into 9’s but I don’t want to blow my stuff up or add any more weight I cruse the streets a lot! I also have a CBR300R it’s weak but still fun around town! Bought it for my kid!
I applaud you, but you'll have to be born a lil' earlier to appreciate what I grew up on!!! I like your bike, I bet it's well enjoyed by you!!! A Kawasaki Z-1 is something that's enjoyed by people who know these bikes, so hopefully you'll get to know!!! I am rootin' for you, happy motoring!!!👍👍👍😎😎😎
That man is 5 years older than me, this video was posted 2 years ago. This being July 11, 2024, makes me 75 years old now and I'm still riding the quarter, well 1,000 feet now.
Sure miss the old daz.. watching Elmer , Larry and John sands . That ol honda of John sands racing was the underdog.. but had its own unique sound being the only injected bike in the field... this was late mid80s at Farmington dragway in winston Salem n.c. .... where I started on a 1983cr60...
I love Kz /z1/z1r But I do like the newer models too with advance tech I love the sound of a kz z1 bikes they are very cool I have a 74 custom style but haven't rode it for a while

Wonder how much the 900 at 4.00 has been tested with something in front of the carbs - fx stacks... Sure helped my standard 2-stroke run nicer to get some..
Old KZ's & Z-1's are just pure badass. Can't count out old Suzuki GS's either.
