I just received a dip powder for the first time. I found it fascinating. It was a longer process to start to finish. It made my nails harder, it won't break as easy when long. I didn't like a lot of buffing, I started to feel my own nails thinner and weaker. They look nice, but I won't do it again- personally.
I just received a dip powder treatment tonight for the first time. Fascinating process. The fact that dip powder lasts up to an entire month and no UV lamp is needed, I think I’m sold. It will totally be worth the $50 I paid if they last 3-4 weeks without cracking or chipping.
Hi Pam! It definitely is an amazing product and you may also do this at home! You may check out our Rossi Glam Powder's through the link below!😊 rossinails.com/pages/glam-powder-collections
@@pinkblueberryyy I’ve had great success with dip powder. No chips in 3 weeks. If my nails didn’t grow as fast as they do, I’d bet money they would last 4-6 weeks with no chips. They pay for themselves. I’m sold.
Right. Salons should pour it onto your finger, not dunk. If you think about it, using polish between people can also be a problem. Brush gets redunked into polish.
I’ve heard that dip powder nails are good for growing them out since the powder hardens over the nails but doesn’t actually damage them and can strengthen your nails. I’m not an expert though and don’t know much of anything about gels. I don’t really have experience with dip nails either, just speculating
I have really weak nails. Like they can bend forward and if i accidentally hit them wrong they'll bend back which hurts like crazy. Will acrylic or gel strengthen my nails in the long run?
Hi Nadeíge! We recommend following the steps mentioned on this video for the removal of our Rossi Glam Powders, ruclips.net/video/VgqtEnVN7fI/видео.html .💕
From my experience, the gel polish sears into the nail therefore taking part of the nail into the gel and that’s how it’s cured. That’s why even after taking the gel polish off properly, the nail is often thinner than before the gel manicure. Gel is much harder on the nails because of this.
For dip powder after after the nail has been buffed and smoothed I then apply two thin coats of topcoat. My question is do I let the topcoat air dry on its own ???
Hi Jamie, wish granted. :) Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/KEMi4zFL980/видео.html You can also check more of Polygel tips and tricks here in our channel.
Oh, we are so sorry to hear this, Don! Were you the one doing your own mani using Dip Powder and were you using our products when you had nail infection?

I would’ve loved a side by side comparison shot at the end!

Did they last??

What brand did you buy. My dip nails only last a week
@@mirandaquinnn I got mine done at the nail salon and they use Kiara Sky.
I use clear dip and then use gel polish
How sanitary is that if you dip all clients nails in the same powder?? Any infections??
Right. Salons should pour it onto your finger, not dunk. If you think about it, using polish between people can also be a problem. Brush gets redunked into polish.
Im right here, you don’t have to yell
My cat thinks otherwise.
That was very informative and helpful in deciding what’s better and longer. Thank you!!
We are glad it was helpful!😊
Very helpful, at the moment I prefer dip powder because it makes my long natural nails feel stronger ✨✨
Thanks! We love dip powder too. :)

I’m getting my nails done soon and your videos are helping me decide what to do!
Which one will be better for someone who wants to grow natural nails? So I need my nails to be hard or have strength so they won’t break.

TOTALLY LOVE THE DIP POWDER
gel base coat is different from powder base coat?
I have really weak nails. Like they can bend forward and if i accidentally hit them wrong they'll bend back which hurts like crazy. Will acrylic or gel strengthen my nails in the long run?
No
That will actually weaken them even more, happend to me.
Do dip nails take a while to dry?
No
Do dip powder peel like the gel after 2 weeks???

What damages your nails more in the long run: dips or gel nails?
Improper application and removal damages your nails in the long run. It is not the dip or gel itself that damages the nails.
From my experience, the gel polish sears into the nail therefore taking part of the nail into the gel and that’s how it’s cured. That’s why even after taking the gel polish off properly, the nail is often thinner than before the gel manicure. Gel is much harder on the nails because of this.

Yup, it takes like a minute
So beautiful
Could you show a poly gel tutorial

Can you use monomer??
Nice video
Now which one is harder to get off to do another color?
As a stay at home mom the dip powder only last me one day before my nails start to crack.
Maybe it’s because I’m constantly cleaning?
Yeah you should wear gloves if you dont currently
I just hate when my nails start to grow and my hair gets stuck in the nail where the new growth
Agreed
Dip powder cracked for me too.. at salon and at home.
Thank you
Dip powder lasts But it’s very easy to get a terrible nail infection like I did a year ago and it ruins your nails
Oh, we are so sorry to hear this, Don! Were you the one doing your own mani using Dip Powder and were you using our products when you had nail infection?
Gel polish lasts a week. I guess the place I go to doesn’t do it right
the place I go to it last me a month- and I'm a bartender I work with my hands all day
