    A good tutorial, I wanted to do the normal chevron but can't get the stitches to match up (a good few tries) so opted for this, I do like the bit of filet for the design, very pretty. Thank you so much and hope your having happy Gran days.

    I never really liked the Chevron pattern. I just don't like the zig zag pattern. But I love this pattern. It's like a Chevron filet crochet. I love doing filet crocheting. I will be doing this pattern. Thank you so much Alison for sharing this pattern with us.

    I'm not past the foundation yet. I have counted and recounted. I did a ch48 which is an even number of blocks of 12 and I end up with 6 ch left over. Originally I only did ch36 which didn't work out.

      At the beginning and end you will only have half the patterns as this is what shifts the < and > pattern stitches back and forth

    I had you redo my chains. If you do 7 tr and miss 2 chains and tr in next chain miss 2 tr and tr in next chain is 13 not 12

    • @juliemckinnon
      @juliemckinnon 8 месяцев назад +1

      No it's is 12

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  8 месяцев назад +1

      its 12 because the least treble to make the 2nd box becomes the 1st of the 7 stitches. Confusing I know ha ha ha i get put off fillet crochet because of this dives me bonkers sometimes hahah

      i got a 30 inch square done with less than 2 100g balls the holes in the pattern make it quite big so 2x 100g will or can make a size to fit a baby cot or small single childs bed 3 balls will make a nice size blanket
