I didn't realize how well the songs could flow together but it definitely feels like The Doctor is just one person as his music gets progressively more intense
I think it's the Doctor slowly understanding how in over their head they are. All of time and space of one or sometimes a small part of a second universe for one small boy/girl from advanced red planet with somewhat old and broken tech. Albeit with help but of lifeforms less brilliant than themself.
how has it only JUST occurred to me the the master's 'drumming' sound that started when he looked into the time vortex is literally the beat of the opening in the time vortex ? I've been a fan for way over a decade :' )
This should be the theme tune for the 60th Anniversary episode! What a better way to celebrate 60 years of Who than to mash all the different theme tunes together. 👌😁
@@danielbryant521 Unfortunately BBC WHO producers have demonstrated they are utterly impervious to "good ideas" and have whole heartedly embraced complete rubbish.
I agree it was an absolutely amazing transition. I don’t think I have heard the chord that was used at that 0:49 before in any of the themes but it was absolutely perfect here. It made me feel like the composition wasn’t finished which perfectly transitions to the 2005 revival. Amazing work!!!!
Woah, beautiful, it's so simplistic in concept (complex in execution I would assume) but it is such a great tribute to the entire history of Doctor Who.
it's funny because i remember this moment in remembrance of the daleks where a tv is left on, and while the name of the program is cut off at "Do-" the year it's set in heavily implies it's the then brand new Doctor Who
I see this as a special where all the doctors converge on 1963 and have to fight off the forces of the mondasian/parallel cyber men alongside all forms of the master.
I thought this was going to be a mashup of existing themes, but for you to instead capture the style of each in your own way, and mix them so perfectly, is brilliant. Well done, that fan!
I love this 😍 especially the orchestral 2008 theme segment! I think I’d probably cry if you released this as a full cover on it’s own! Brilliant work! 😘
there is one video with a chibby image of all 12 doctors that plays all the themes together, and they do play perfectly. Thr basic theme over 60 years hasnt changed, its just been added to, you did the same, good work!!
This is amazing! I've always been a fan of the classics, but it also has hints of what I know now! When I saw this, I thought to myself "It'll just clash together" but this sounds amazing! I can really tell whos theme is whos but even then is hard enough to tell to the point it becomes its own thing. I love it!
this was exactly what I've been dreaming of since I was a child in 2008! A version of the theme that had all the them mixed together and you did it in the most genius way! Well done! Purely amazing work!
That transition from McGann to Eccleston/Tennant gave me goosebumps. Evidently it wasn't just me since it's the most replayed part of the whole thing. Good job!
Earned yourself a sub with this. I fell in love with Doctor Who as a child and if i had to be honest it's been at the back of every music track I've ever created. Continue doing what you do!
This is amazing!! Its so cool too how you labeled the changes. It was fun just listening first and then checking to see if I guessed them all right. Fir real, this is so cool. I would look for a way to make it my ringtone, but then I would never answer my phone ever again. Lol.
I had no idea what to expect going in. Watched till the end. It ended up being SOO GOOD SOUNDING!! SOUNDS SO COOL!! And very VERY well put together. Blow me away how all this fit together so well.
I've listened to this too many times. I think it's genius. I personally would have started with just the pure William hartnell theme and then brought in the electronic baseline when the damn bells start playing (hate the bells XD). But that's just me. It sounds soooo good!
Love the first 30 seconds. I hadn't even noticed the timeline descriptions until Colin's bit came in and jarred me a little. Then we get to Whitaker where it left me wondering "what the heck is going on?". Ironic that! LOL
As much at the Whittaker era has been let down by writing, the more bass boosted version of the intro is a good addition with some cool looking visuals to boot
What a fun temporal music experience. This is marvelously meta as the music evolves with each doctor and over the course of decades all in a matter of seconds.
For a finale it could be shown that Ian Chestertan made a tv series and he found out the Doctor could change faces and it became one of the biggest tv series in the world and the doctor dies🙂
I didn't realize how well the songs could flow together but it definitely feels like The Doctor is just one person as his music gets progressively more intense
I love that description!
Well the way the doctor changes, it makes sense that the music goes along with it
It helps that they all have the same base melody 😅
I think it's the Doctor slowly understanding how in over their head they are.
All of time and space of one or sometimes a small part of a second universe for one small boy/girl from advanced red planet with somewhat old and broken tech. Albeit with help but of lifeforms less brilliant than themself.
That's a very good interpretation! I like that idea. Kudos.
What a brilliant idea for a 60th Anniversary theme.
Thankyou xxx
I was going to say that as well
Personally, 100th anniversary would be more fitting
@@grumpybean98 I wouldn't mind if they did it for every tenth anniversary honestly, with changes to how exactly it's mixed each time.

Holy hell I never noticed that until I just read your post. you’ve just blown my tiny little mind!
it's the heartbeat of a time lord!
Dr. Who never fails to astound... and yo, same! Going on 13 years now
You just blew my mind. I will never listen to the theme the same way again. Woah!!!🤯
The drums have been beating since the beginning
I love the fact you timed McGann perfectly for the middle eighth.
haha thankyou xx
Actually fantastic
ngl I was expecting a meme where all the themes would be playing together very loudly but instead I found a sweet arrangement
This should be the theme tune for the 60th Anniversary episode! What a better way to celebrate 60 years of Who than to mash all the different theme tunes together. 👌😁

Awesome. Only thing I missed was the picture changing from grey to blue over time. But it's about the music so who cares?😄

the McGann to eccleston/tennant transition is just godly, well done!

Hearing this genuinely gave me chills, holy moly

Thankyou so much. im so gland you like it xx
I love how McCoy’s, McGann’s, and Eccleston’s just work so well together
