- In today’s video I explain and show you how to strip paint using the Bauer SCT and Eastwood SCT properly so that you don’t warp the metal of your project and have the metal prepped with a smooth finish that’s ready for primer. I also give details of the raffle for the Bauer SCT.

Class is in session-Good video as always Professor UPK
Thanks Grant I appreciate you and I’m working hard to get the info out to the people!
👍🏾Very good advice! I've had my eye on an Eastwood for a cold minute.
Your lungs and health are more important. I'm patient and can watch a vid longer or read subtitle while you work. Take care.🙏🏾
Appreciate you ShermX69X I’ll work on doing voice overs on the videos for safety…you can’t go wrong with either one of these tools!
thank you for getting these 2 side by side for comparison..and confirming that the E.W. 4.5 will spin in the Bauer!!!
You’re welcome and I’m glad the video was helpful!

Thanks Imranammo I appreciate you!
An awesome way to demonstrate a key point; it isn’t the tool as much as the skilled operator using the tool!
Thanks Frankie I really appreciate that and I really try to stress and prove that point with my content…I appreciate you checking out the video 💯

Thanks 🙏 a lot My Brother on helping another man to save some pennies
You’re welcome Corey that’s what this channel is all about 💯…I appreciate you checking out the video!
Another awesome video. Thank you. I bought the Bauer 9amp SCT for $149 at Harbor Freight in preparation to paint my NB Mazda Miata hood and trunk lid. I am practicing on my off road Jeep. I love having a practice vehicle. Should I be aware of different techniques or tools for stripping the Miata hood since it is all aluminum?
Only advice I probably would offer is to not go with too course of a grit if possible but you should be able to use the SCT however you like and it should get the job done for you
@@UndergroundPaintKing Thank you again!
@@67scout73 you’re welcome!
Harbor freight is selling the sanding drums separately
Yes they are, I did a video on them! Appreciate you Jack💯
🤝🏾 Sticker on the way

Question if you could only purchase one which would you choose. Thxs for all your videos UPK…..
If I had to buy one right now it would be the Bauer SCT
Sticker and red snap back headed this way!
Nice Fisch!…I appreciate the support and good luck on the raffle!
How about something kinda new like HF turbine 5 stage paint sprayer? Be interesting to see if it could paint a vertical and do it well or not just a idea no compressor needed! Be interesting.
I’ll look into it Gary, appreciate you checking out the video!
Question. If you had to buy one, which one would you choose. Thxs for your videos UPK……
I would go with the Bauer SCT…I appreciate you checking out the video!
@@UndergroundPaintKing can you explain why? I've been on the fence between the too and would prefer advice from someone that uses both tools regularly
King, another great video. Let me ask you a question. Do you prefer to use the tool to strip paint or paint stripper? Is it just matter of choice or one better than the other?
Thanks I appreciate you checking out the video! I honestly think they both do the job well so in my opinion it’s just a matter of choice
Same tool just re-branded .
Harbour freight and Eastwood are just Asian companies.
It’s a few differences but they work the same
TECHNICAL NOTE. Can't subscribe because when you play music I have to drop the volume and when you talk I have to crank it up then you turn on a tool and I am muting it. Level volume is important. Thanks, look forward to watching more you explain things well, but gotta fix the volume.
so you didn't subscribe to the channel because of the volume?
@@UndergroundPaintKing wth? his channel is smarter than you? smarter n u?
