This is definitely a favorite memory of my mother.. Fleetwood Mac was one of her favorite groups.. will never forget coming home.. walking up to the house and hearing this from outside and the huge smile on my face because I knew this was a good day for her.. opening the front door and this concert was playing on PBS.. mom’s dancing in the living room with such a beautiful smile on her face.. she looked over at me and reached her hand out to join her.. she was 73 and it would be the last day she’d ever do this as her illness would take over a few days later.. I had been her caretaker for years and it broke my heart to watch her slide.. less than two years later she’d pass away.. I come to this video periodically to remember a very good day.. Everything in this sond is perfectly arranged, and even the drums plays like a melody, an important part. It is one of the greatest masterpieces in music history.

I have watched many videos of this song. Even when you compare this to when he was a lot younger this concert/video is THE BEST performance of this song. I can't find anything to top it. Lindsey and Mick harmonized perfectly. This is a PERFECT version of this song. I saw FM in 2018, the year they kicked Lindsey out of the band, when they played this song the audience thought it was so great. I didn't because all I could do is compare it to this song and although Mike Campbell is a decent guitarist he doesn't hold a candle to Buckingham on this song. Hope your health stays well Lindsey and you solo tour again - I would love to see you!
Fleetwood Mac and this song changed my life. Born unwanted, had a shit education, learned that I had to do it myself or as I was told. Did a number of jobs from which I learned many things, then I purchased this Fleetwood Mac album. "Go your own way" changed everything. I changed the way to do things as an inspection technician, ceased being just a husband, researched History, wrote a biography and a History of the labouring poor from the beginning of to the height of the Industrial Revolution, self-taught to play keyboard instruments, now use Midi keyboard, synthesizers and computer software to write music in the Electronic genre. All from a piece of music!!!

Tyler Alger -- Apples & Oranges, absolutely two completely different types of styles of guitar playing, each one of the best at their own style, no one is better than the other.
This is one of those rare performances: the combination of sheer musical brilliance and and inspired song that energized Buckingham's incredible guitar/singing on stage live theatrics -
Absolutely Nailed It. This is as tight as the original release in the 1970's. To be able to play this well live on stage is testament to the greatness of this Supergroup.
4:26-4:29 - look at the mad respect from the rest of the band - everyone standing back and letting Lindsey go insane!!! I love this!! Forget show of hands if your watching this in 2020!! How about show of hands if you'll NEVER stop watching this!
I just love the least mentioned here, the Bass guitarist. From 03.45 and Lindsey's solo onwards in the song. Wow. Keeping up with Mick's drumming and Lindsey's lead guitar. Not easy. Take that bass guitar out and the song has no punch. He keeps up beautifully with both of them. Absolutely genius.

Everything is great! Lesd Vocal, lead guitar and bass, drums, organ, back up vocal! I think this could be a massive hit!! :-)
A truly INCREDIBLE performance!! Buckingham shreds it!! All the parts and pieces came together on THIS one!! Very likely their best ever!
Lindsay Buckingham - without doubt one of the best musicians ever!
Anyone else out there that can't get enough of this🎶
This song is like fine wine... It just keeps getting better with age... Brilliant!!❤️👍!!
This is one of those rare performances: the combination of sheer musical brilliance and and inspired song that energized Buckingham's incredible guitar/singing on stage live theatrics -
I love how Lindsey bows to Mick and John at the end of the solo showing how he knows what they mean to this great performance.
Such respect and a humble person
The bass line is EVERYTHING Mick was Killing It on the Drums & Lindsey was playing his Ass off!!!💃💃💃
MacVie's fat bass ALWAYS made their songs better.
He's the man!!!
Seasoned Veterans at their best . Wonderful 🤗🌻🌻🌻
This song is a Masterpiece!
Mariano Antoniazzi
In the top5 of best songs of all time...!!!
It sure is!!!
Best ending version of this amazing song… see how Christine is digging it as it wraps up!
Totally agree reloda
yep chrissie perfect think it was around 60 62 best british female vocalist
Can I have a show of hands if You are listening to this masterpiece in 2021?
Me
I sure am!👍🏻
Me too.
I first listened to this as a teenager in 1978.
Sure👍
Absolutely Nailed It. This is as tight as the original release in the 1970's. To be able to play this well live on stage is testament to the greatness of this Supergroup.
One of the best live performance I've ever seen
Lindsay is the supreme musical talent. A guitar virtuoso, fine voice, great writer, arranger, and producer; Buckingham stands in a class by himself.
Totally agree🙌

@Herbert Richard Yes, he’s AWESOME! 💜 Can you believe they actually fired him? How completely STUPID!
@@BADHABIT571 I don’t think so.
Stevie Nick's looks like she's still in love with him
4:26-4:29 - look at the mad respect from the rest of the band - everyone standing back and letting Lindsey go insane!!! I love this!! Forget show of hands if your watching this in 2020!! How about show of hands if you'll NEVER stop watching this!
Lindsey doesnt get the respect he deserves.
I was just thinking that - its lovely to watch and he is having a ball.
Sadly this lineup will never happen again.
There is NO FLEETWOOD MAC without LINDSAY BUCKINGHAM. End of.
Get LB back!! Life's too short ✌💕
Actually brings tears to my sad eyes , for a zillion fkn reasons xx
What a group . Mick blows me away with his drumming and they are all great performers. No weak links here. Thanks RUclips
He is the Mac in Fleetwood..John McVie
absolutely agree
Absolutely. Never thought much about the bass playing on this band, but this time it just jumped out to me. Beautiful.
Probably the best FM live performance ever!! Just awesome!!
Amazing Lindsey ! Love Fleetwood Mac 🫶🏼
Rumours without a doubt, one of the greatest Albums in the history of Music!
I totally agree with ya there!
@@chevy2003ism 👍👍👍

😂😂😂😂 same!
+Kevin Skinnider Me too :)
+blackout betty Lindsey Buckingham best guitarist
No doubt you will watch another 50 million ;)
snap, best version iv ever heard them do
Wow Lindsey can hit those notes all these years later. Hard to think he was a late edition to this group. He is incredible.
Second edition?
This band when i set and watch their videos i go back in my heart and mind when i was just teenager ❤❤❤😊😊 this band brought joy to me lots of times. Now im 63. And still Rocking On lol ❤❤❤❤😊😊
This song more than any other takes me back to a time when I was young and life was easier I'm 65 now and when I listen to this song I get the same filling I got way back then when it came on the radio . I would give anything to go back to that time and age . Love this song
Rock on Penny😉😊😁
lindsey Buckingham is one of the most under rated guitarist I can think of (Prince & Nancy Wilson (Heart) come to mind also). On this live performance however...Lindsey absolutely killed it.
Mikheno Couldn’t agree more!!
IMO those ther four should be grateful they were on the same stage with Buckingham at that moment. He was in the zone no doubt.
Agreed. And he's a great singer as well. Doubly hard to do both at the some time....
Heavily edited, all the way around.
:Prince is not underrated. I don't necessarily agree with his style of music, but he was brilliant with his music and guitar.
