It's nice to visit youtube and see clips of the artists I loved when growing up. I'm 55 and have seen these guys for years, and being able to watch them perform via youtube is a treasure. I for one simply like reminiscing, being able to transform to another time in another decade...i find a great deal of solitude in being able to do this.
What I do dislike immensely is reading the comments of the opinionated twerps who think because the artists (god forbid) age, i mean...how dare they get old...because if they get old...that means you get old :)
Fleetwood Mac has been doing this for decades, and they do it because it brings them joy. They have stood the test of time and have the ability to what a lot of other bands couldn't do..and that is "endure".
Just enjoy the music..just enjoy the memories they left for you to have...leave the judging to God!

      @energyvortex1000 9 лет назад +1

Bandit Silva I will let God judge their souls but I can tell you from having seen them in the early 80's that they can no longer sing or play their instruments worth a shit.......Ive seen acts that are older than they are that can still pull it off. They just need to retire, they aint doing this for fun, they are doing it to pocket the cash. Even Billy Joel had to admit the same for himself finally.

Then you had to go & do what you did & still to this day when I found out on the 11th of November 2016 my heart still aches for you always.
I listen to this song & always think of you & us together.
Then I get all sad & look back & think what did I miss, what could of done more, how did I miss the signs.
It just torments me everyday thinking about it.

I think hes problably got feelings for Stevie that he will always have, like anyone would for their very first love. Lindsay has been married to a different woman for almost twenty years now, and when you see them together, he does look and act very much in love with hhis present partner.
So still 'in love' with Stevie, I dont think so, not anymore.
They have not been an item for so long I doubt either of them really even knows one another anymore, the only time they spend together is rehersal and performance, there are a lot of hours in a day that are not consumed by those two things.
Lindsay has kids, he has a family, outside of FM, hes very devoted to being a good dad.
Stevie kind of went of the deep end when the relationship ended, and now she looks really lonely and sad, she can talk all she wants about how she never wanted kids, or a man to tie her down, but I think its bravado covering up deep deep lonliness.
I honestley dont think Stevie evergot over the ending of their 'relationship'.
She sure looks depressed here, its kind of sad.

i have to agree with so much of what you wrote. to add to your assessment , both Stevie and Lindsey have both said in interviews that the affection and "looks" they give each other on stage is really an act they put on for the fans. and boy do the super-fans sure eat it up. it cracks me up when the fans still think these 2 still romantically love each other.

Mick is one of the best drummers ever. No argument.
    And without Lindsey, no Fleetwood.
And Stevie…..all time rock goddess. The ultimate love song/break up song. They all broke each other’s hearts. And because of it made some of the most iconic rock songs of all time.
This band’s music will stand the test of time. ❤️❤️

I was there. It was great. All those people who are knocking the Mac, take a reality check and go and watch someting else. I'm of the same age as these guys, and I wish had a tenth of their talent and a hundredth of their stamina. This was at the end of a two hour set, eight months or so into a world tour. Thank you Mick Fleetwood for keeping it all going.

During my lifetime there has been: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Eagles, Bad Company, Pink Floyd, Bee Gees, Abba, Heart, just to name a few bands. Single artists there is Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Prince.

When this was recorded they had just found out John had cancer and were in the middle of dealing with cancelling the Australia tour as well. Christine had joined them as moral support too, she was backstage. They wanted to draft in a replacement bass player for the Australia leg but ironically Lindsey was insisting the tour was cancelled if John wasn't available !!!

I still don't see how they can Sing this Song after their breakup. I know they've been very emotional about it on stage several times and He always points to her right off the bat when singing Go your own way. I'm just glad they survived such a traumatic time for them both.
