ibx33 I think it's because it's been so long since he last played with them, I think the last time I recall was in 97 when Fleetwood Mac did the dance live DVD.
Good lord even at this age, LB's pipes seem to have unlimited power. Especially in Go Your Own Way, he still repeatedly carries a long note, then changes its tone(/octave/whatever it's called) & keeps going without any pause; there's colossal vocal continuity skills in this man. I don;t doubt that the huge amount of popping veins on his neck has something to do with his pipes' unreal breathing ability & unbelievable note hitting/carrying chops. A 120 healthy years to this national treasure!!
Lindsey has to be one of the most under rated guitar players of all time. He is a genius !! Check out his live version of Its Not That Funny. The 10 minute version.

Thank you for sharing. As a USC Alum and huge fan of Fleetwood Mac and Mr. Buckingham, I got misty eyes seeing him perform once again with the famed Spirit of Troy (USC Trojans Marching Band). Well done good sir! To my fellow Trojans, FIGHT ON!!!

I must have listened to this TAPE 100 times. Wore the poor thing out and had to get another. That Strat looks just like the one my late wife bought me before she passed. Gotta love that band...

I love this track when Fleetwood Mack perform it but I wasn't impressed with what was happening here and started to move on. I noted 30 comments and decided to see what others thought. WOW, so glad I hesitated. What an unexpected surprise. Enjoyed this very much.

All live singers use a pa mic. It's called a public address, and a microphone, which means simply, here for you in laymans terms, voice is made louder through loudspeakers, and transistorized amplification.
