@@gorey4more837oh yes, because being in your 70s and not wanting to do a world tour for that long is arrogant. He said he'd tour if they cut back on the number of dates.
@@Lizzypoohxo 😂 So that’s it, eh? It only had to do with touring? They didn’t kick him out of the band because he was super easy to work with, ffs. There won’t BE any touring anymore because Mick already said “we’re not going on without Christine.” This wasn’t a Lindsay vs Stevie issue. It was a Lindsay vs band issue. That comes from ego and arrogance.
This is one of the best live versions they have done. Hard song to go for live - having the 2nd set of drums really helps here...I have seen it preformed live when they had the USC band come out and play with them as it was recorded with USC and is played at almost ever USC football game to this day. So do to this without the USC band is a big challenge - it really works here. They got all the excitement of having the band there thanks to some track dubs from the sound board..
I am sure they will be a topic of discussion 100 years from now. They were that good. At least I think so. And Mick seemed like an awesome guy when I talked to him.
I smiled the whole time watching this! My cheeks hurt. This song makes me wanna learn the infinite spin this song does weird things to my body PERFECT Masters of Emotional Alchemy. There will never be another Fleetwood Mac.
My ultimate favourite version of tusk!! One for the ipod! "Why don't you ask whose the latest on his throne" Best line in the song. Stevie is having fun rockin' away there too Love the little thing they did :)) ♥
You can tell by the way they behaved they were having a blast with this performance...and that makes it extra special in this day of canned performances.
Valaree St. clair--- Back in the day when they recorded Tusk they ALL were hopped up on Cocaine and played it slower....now they are ALL sober and playing faster...go figure!! LOL Cheers
The energy and passion that Lindsey Buckingham put into this song is amazing. Love the way he danced to the beat with his arm around John . Then Stevie opens up her arms to bug him . He hugs her back with kind gestures and dances with her , then puts his hand at her waist and gently pushes her away from him . Then he skips along in strides, knowing he can hug Stevie. We need to remember if not for Lindsey , Stevie Nicks never would have been a part of FleetWood Mac.
Lindsey was off the charts awesome in this video....(which he is anyway)....he's the only person that can compare to the awe I feel when i watch Stevie perform. These two both were made to do this. wow.
Feels bad that I'll never get the chance to see this lineup in person. I imagine the energy in the theater that night was off the charts. The song itself is played a little to fast for my taste, but still amazing.
Get well Lindsey you are a huge talent with a gift of playing and writing music and you play without a pick genius talent get well sending you love and appreciation for all the music you've given to the world so far and by the way I waited for years for you to show up on Saturday night live I almost fell out of bed when you did in the skit Lindsey it was so funny thank you
Man, if you've noticed the page views going up, it's me! I can't get this out of my mind and head. It's so awesome. It's really such a very simple song, just saying "TusK" which doesn't really mean anything. But, the melody, the USC band sounds, Lindsey's utter crazy brilliance, and the way they just let go and go totally bonkers and have fun with it......It's so captivating. I know I'm repeating, but Lindsey is so brilliant. A real genius.
Shooting from Tusk Act 2 is good, Shooting from Tusk Act 3 is good, but Shooting from Tusk Act 4 will give you a bad luck! And Johnny almost stucked by his Tusk Act 4 Mista was right after all.
I love the chemistry between Nicks and Buckingham. Though they have certainly had their struggles, you can tell they still love each other, even if it isn't a romantic love
They hate each other. But they always knew what sells. It's all over now. Lindsey is too sick to work much and he has kids to finish raising. Nicks made a career out of riding his coatails.
@@garypaquin9571 When you wrote this, Lindsey was perfectly strong and fit and could drive a car and visit shops all on his own. as i listen to this song ill never forgive myself mot for the things I've done but i could have taking my mother to this concert. i knew what a fan she was my cross to bear
As a mother of a 40 year old son, I say this to you with a mother's love: She doesn't hold anything, and I mean ANYTHING, against you now. She loves you. Let it go, and just love her. Peace~~
not really this was Lindsey's response to the "punk new wave music explosion " that started in the USA in the early /mid 70's and then exploded in the UK in 76/77.
I love the way it's edited for the 1st episode of The Americans. The main beat has enriched the perception so much that you just completely stick to the plot.
Can't figure out who looks more like "the mad professor of rock & roll" here, Lindsey or Mick? Both incredibly talented musicians whose passion for their craft is reflected in their expressions when they play.
WOW! i would have loved to have been at this show,i bet the atmosphere was mind blowing! but tbh i woul dhave cried at the bit where Stevie and Linds dance cuz i just think they are so cute haha :D
That is the most incredible version of Tusk I've ever seen -- Lindsey unbelievable!
search for "the dance" concert, same level
The anger, the passion, the borderline hate that comes out in this song is what makes it so great, especially live.
How can Fleetwood Mac go on without Lindsey? Seriously! We love you Lindsey!
How can Fleetwood Mac go on without Christine?
Guess he shouldn’t have been so arrogant and hard to work with then.
Considering he only agreed to join if Stevie could go too is beyond me.
And imo, they should've done whatever they had to do to keep Christine.

So much passion from Lindsey, wow. Truly one of the greats. I can't believe he's not part of the band anymore
It will never be the same without him!
Its not Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey
No Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey! Period.
I'm sure you've heard Big Love, it's great.
Its complete madness they got rid of Lindsey Buckingham , the new version of the band is garbage
seeing mick fleetwood drumming is the best thing ever. So much passion. And it just makes me smile and happy !
Total opposite for me. Can't stand him. I like everyone else. I think he's a terrible drummer
DAMN, Lindsay Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood are on FIRE here! Musical masterpiece
Lindsey is that good kind of crazy. Such a maniacal genius. He doesn't get enough credit for being one of the all time greats.
Yeah but mick got the girl didn't he 😊
One of the best guitarist!!
P
He is an incredible musician, producer, singer, lyricist and I agree he does not get the credit he deserves.
Maniacal isn’t usually a word that’s used in a positive sense.
Lindsay and Stevie, a bond forever. You can just see it between them, feel it between them. Ying & Yang.

Absolutely

This is the song that Lindsey was always most proud of, and this is also Micks favorite song (according to his auto biography)
When Lindsey screams “oh yeah!” And Nick comes in with a gut busting drum solo….insane!!!
Damn, I'm 75 and just wish I knew what I was missing 40 years ago. I listen to them every night now.

I can listen to this song and the regular Tusk over and over again. I LOVE the drumming in this song!!!
I've seen them several times and still can't get enough of them...so MUCH passion in their performances
And it doesn't get any better than that!!! absolutely brilliant. What a band.
Mick Fleetwood: I heard him drum on a desk in my dorm room in Illinois in 1975, and decided he was "a pretty good drummer." (Was I right??)
I was at this concert. It was at the Fleet Center in Boston. Lindsay's energy was off the charts!
Boston I saw them in 2013 there it was so good
Very few bands can keep producing such passion and quality live, as long as FM if any. Outstanding!
Masters of Emotional Alchemy.

My God, Bob, you just made an old man cry. Their youth may be ebbing away but the magic will stay with future generations.
