  • This short seated practice has some gentle stretches and yoga postures for the upper body. You can do this cross legged, kneeling or in a chair. It would be great to do in the morning, before voice use, as a reset throughout the day or as a nice release in the evening.
We often build up a lot of tension in our neck, shoulders and upper body throughout the day and overnight. This tension can move to our larynx, jaw and tongue, and also just give us a sense of stiffness - which is not useful when we're singing!
