    I just put my Maxpeedingrods coilovers on today (thanks again for the promo code btw) and my ride height is the exact same as yours. I want to go a little lower in the front and about a inch lower in the rear. I'm going to use the preload to get the car lower. If the ride becomes too stiff, I'll just lower the damper settings to make the ride sporty but comfortable

      I just put mine on last night and they’re damn soft as well. Even with dampening tight as it goes.

      I've had problems with them, I couldn't believe that the back can't be lowered anymore until I've seen that video, but I have yet another problem, it's stiff, very stiff, unbelievable, I don't know what's the problem, I want to lower them more than it can, but how

      You can’t, it has a dampening nub on top to make it softer

    If I wanted to raise my ride height, would I turn the topmost collar the other direction, or would I need to turn on the middle collar?

      Turn the middle collar, in my case I always turn the assembly by hand if I wanted to go un or down

    Did u experience the height being very difficult to adjust?? Like the shock takes large amounts of strength to move to lower front and back

    Hey Mr. Solano, I appreciate all the CG knowledge. I was wondering if you recommend a good strut mount and strut boot? I just got some Tokico air shocks and springs but need the mounts and boots to install them.

      @@BulletSolano okay cool thanks for the fast reply at first when I was turning my rear call over I thought I had damage them because I was turning and turning but after watching your video I noticed that I never moved the Lower locking ring to be able to adjust

    I just put these on my Miata a week ago. The fronts lowered no issues. Both backs are however stuck. I can’t get it to lower for anything my hand hurts lol what is the issue here? They’re brand new.

      I don’t know how low can you go on the rears, but mine bottom out really high, probably that’s the limit on your coilovers

      @@BulletSolano naw there’s no way I still have about 3 inches to drop it, I even took them off and it just spins the springs it doesn’t lower the actual coil over. Been on the Miata a week and they were no so I don’t see how rust could be it.Now I can’t get the lock nuts looosend for anything

    How much tension does the spring need. My fronts assembly is completely screwed in so clockwise front look down at top. There’s still a gap ??? Also mines knocking so is is there not enough preload on spring ??

      Remove the coilover get all the tension from the spring out and set the preload, when you have the spring with no tension just go up like 5mm and that’s the preload, then set the coilover back into the car and lowered to your liking

      You have to check where the spun is coming from, recheck is everything is tide in your suspension, and check all the ball joints in the car

    Mine is very stiff, incredibly stiff, the rear car jumps and of course it can't lower enough the rear , but why so stiff mine, it has a small screw up at the top, but can turn with your finger, so now my car is on the lift for two weeks, I don't knowe what the problem

      I don’t know if you have the ones with adjustable damper, but they have a nub on top to make it softer

    Hey man I just got a bug eye and it has these exact coil overs but In blue and I was wondering if I adjust my camber on the front wheel going
    Towards the engine
    How do I do the rear wheel??? Is there adjustable camber there too? And I don’t got a tool to lower / raise the car is there another way!
    Flat head screwdriver and a rubber mallet with soft hits?

      I don’t know if your coilovers has camber plate on the rear some do, check on that

      You have to do it if you want to adjust the ride high, this process doesn’t change the preload

    mine tend to get loose around the spring top or get uneven by the bottom after like 15 turns with the spanner wrench is there away they can stay tight while im trying to lower it?

    Did the same to my wifes em2 civic the coils(maxspeeding rods) dident want to go any lower.

      (T6 Advanced Series Adj) but I have the non adjustable. Does it work the same as all of them

      The knob on top of the coilover controls the damper

    the 1999 miata the rear coilovers were 1" shorter than OEMs, but the car rides 1" HIGHER then before. WTF?????

    Yo, I try to adjust mime but they're completely locked stiff? I've tried everything to turn this bitch but ended up SNAPPING the tool because of how much leverage I used and it still wouldn't budge. I twisted the same one as you, same direction, and it will not move.

      My friend has the same problem, what I did is removing the bottom bolt to get the bottom part of the coilover out because the treats are damage, get your money back or new Coilovers
