I’m still here brotha. I know I kinda just fell off the face of the earth but I’ve just been going through a lot of life changes in recent months and I decided it was best to take a step back from drifting for a little bit. I’ve been miss it a lot though so I’m hoping I can get back into it soon. Really appreciate you checking in 🙏

I’d cut the coil to get lower and put never seize on the threads so they don’t rust

Cane likes this video. I liked it on his behalf as he is immobile due to his impotence and inability to choose which coilovers he wants for his E36 323i S41 KVJ

my rears were klunking ( AS HELL) from the first meters drive right after montage. Gone to thrash. Fronts were better, but for drifting in E46 with 8kg spring too soft. HInt - there is no possibility to buy or even change the springs from other brands, cause inner diameter of taiwan coilovers is 70mm. All rest on the market is 62. They were working fine about 10 events and then one shock started to behave waaay worse (on the transsions) then the other. So fronts gone out too. For free for review and half a year of use? Why not. For money...don't think so.

Spent $400 on coils they were ok just kinda bouncy and there was a small clunking noise on one of the fronts took them out and spent $1k on a decent set way happier now. Do it right the first time

So I know this was from a year ago but how did you manually compress the front struts I’m having the same issue and nobody has been able to fix the problem of them not fitting because they are to small the pinch bolt won’t tighten around them

When you mentioned that the threads on the coilovers rust I got to thinking, I wonder if you brushed a thin layer of grease all around the threads and then tightly wrapped a couple layers of vinyl wrap around them if that'd keep them from rusting?

Just found your channel man, good stuff. Im in a position where i want to upgrade from stock on a 94 mustang gt. Alot of people tell me i will love coilovers. My question is do you have a welded or lsd diff? And how do they react to standard wheel hop going to shows and cause i been drifting on stock suspension with a locker block rear end and when im not drifting and just going around basic corners i do get wheel bite. And my rear suspension has taken a beating over it thanks 👍

Hi. Nice video. You got me when you said these are good for a “highschool kid on a budget” .
Im 40, not in HS, and not necessarily on a budget… but I want to lower car w/out it being an ugly ride and my wife shaking her head at me.
I dont plan on taking it on a track. This is for my daily 25 miles round trip to the job. What do you think… should I do it or should I hit up the likes of like BC or Tein?

I threw some maxspeeding rods on my e46 daily and they’ve been solid for a good year now. I had a little bit of the same problem with rattling in the front right because of the nut this guy was talking about. They’re decent coilovers. if you were ever going to track your car, it’s worth it to hurt your wallet for something better than these.

    • @JamDrifts

If you want to get some for a daily driver I would definitely recommend getting them with dampening adjustment. Without dampening adjustment they are a bit too stiff for daily driving imo.

they're dampers, not dampeners :) to dampen is to make slightly wet
