I will say this THIS WOMAN SHOULD HAVE WON THAT YEAR SHE WAS THE BEST BETWEEN THE WOMEN AND MEN IN MY OPINION PERIOD!
I totally disagree with the judges. This was the right song choice and this was her moment. She killed it!

I agree-I was lost when he said that! I believe we listeners have good judgment and can tell when one has a good voice. Carly has exceptional vocals, and to this day, I can't believe she hasn't put out some Tope Ten songs or CDs? Who's keeping this brilliant artist from conquering the airwaves? I saw the tour in Tacoma, WA and when she sang this song, it shook the roof (wooden structure) like a magnitude 10 earthquake! I had goose-bumps all over my body! She was simply put, AMAZING!!!

ok so this was when i officially lost respect for randy jackson. there was absolutely nothing pitchy about this WHATSOEVER. clearly the producers decided to throw carly under the bus, and this was where it started...
It's so annoying that Carly and Syesha kept on getting picked on by the judges, especially Simon and sometimes Randy. Carly wanted to be the rocker but Simon wanted her to be more commercial/mainstream like Mariah or Celine.
Simon looks so annoyed at the end that she isn't letting him rain on her parade.
I saw no flaws with this performance. RIGGED!
Not that I followed it much to begin with, but I completely quit watching at all after Carly was booted off. What a bunch of popularity contest BS! Simon Cowell is so fortunate to have a job. What the heck has HE ever done? Great performance!
@jellwoodis So singers must be absolutely 100% perfect all the time? Even Michael Jackson who I think was one of the best singers wasn't always perfect.
I think that ironically, Carly was kicked off the moment Simon actually did think she had that moment.
Look how flat the musicians make her performance look , rigged for sure.
Glad she went onto play with evernesance / we are the fallen . Screw idol and this rigged show.
