    I really dont think it was necessary to replace the rear body panel you could have pulled it out more and gently massaged the kink back into place.

    How do you know where to mark your spot welds? Randomly mark the new beaver, then just sand everything on vehicle? Im looking for way to not sand everything to save time

    • @AUTOBODYTECH
      @AUTOBODYTECH  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, sand all on the vehicle side, then I match up the old panel and use a paint marker. I show how in this video here: ruclips.net/video/Nmpm1UZYOd8/видео.htmlsi=4bppeSoi1ZoUYMle

      How is a piece of sheet metal, seam sealer, paint, and the crash bar 3,000?

    • @XinyiLHBF
      @XinyiLHBF 6 месяцев назад

      How? They are OEM. Buying them from the dealer costs a lot. However, the other option is a donor car which is usually a wrecked car with the same body parts that can be salvaged. These are a lot cheaper.

    What product did you use to coat (Grey spray) the rear body panel and the edges of the extensions

    • @AUTOBODYTECH
      @AUTOBODYTECH  7 месяцев назад +1

      Etch primer. To protect the bare metal until it goes to prep/paint
