Ultimate 40 min full body no repeat dumbbell home workout MASH-UP (works with any weights)

  • Join me for this Ultimate 40 min full body no repeat dumbbell home workout mash-up.
    I have taken 4 sections from our Kickstart program and spliced them together to create the ultimate mash-up no repeat home dumbbell workout
    This one will be a lot of fun and will give you a serious workout regardless of what weights you're using.
    Being a no repeat workout also as with them it will feel you're flying through it as we never go back to the same exercise
    If you have a selection of at least 3 different weight dumbbells that would be awesome , but just work with what you have got.
    A lighter set, a moderate and a slightly heavier set would be perfect
    For each of the 40 exercises what we are going to be doing it
    1 minute of workout
    10 seconds rest
    After each round we will take a quick extended 30 second rest before moving onto the next section
    There will be 4 sections in total which include
    Section 1 - Upper body
    Section 2 - Lower body work
    Section 3 - Full body compound work
    Section 4 - Abs & Core

    I’m definitely doing this routine tonight. Just started working out this year and following your routines. Lost 14lbs in January doing these exercises + diet.

    Little tip: add ankle & wrist weights if you need more resistance or in between weight levels! 💪

    Been doing the 15-20 minutes ones this was my first long - 40 minutes and I'm now filing it after souna, well I am 55 so... Great job Grant

    I used to think the burpee pushups would be what would gas me out, but I am starting to think it is the lateral side raises that get me and then I start needing a few pauses between every other set. But I know what I have to slowly work on building. Plus, by the time I get to the full crunches my abs are so gassed out I have trouble doing those. But I am getting better. When I am not worn out I can do the full crunches with hand assistance easily, but when I am too tired I just hit a wall.

    Yeah I got my sweat on during this workout. The 60 second sets were serious. Great all rounder.

    You've inspired me to start this workout tomorrow! What weghts (in pounds or kg) would you recommend or how much is the increase between light, moderate and heavy?

      Excellent , get it smashed! Good wee workout! It’s hard to say as everyone so different and not knowing everyone’s current fitness level
      But even try 5 - 8 - 10 kg and see how you get on! Or more or less depending how you feeling! Go a little heavier on the likes of chest press , rows , squats , shoulder press etc
