@@lukaweixler That's awesome! I definitely didn't get into an Audi until way later. Either way - there's so much out there now for how to work on them on your own, so you'll be in good hands.
Yo! Just got a 23 Audi SQ5 - I smashed the subscribe button faster than my taco bell order - where you based? Sick ride dude! I’m hype to get going on my Audi. Also - the sound edits 😂 bravo! About to get my channel going soon! Not sure on the name yet..
LOL. Thanks a bunch! I'm based in the Bay Area, CA. It's fun sharing the adventure on my SQ5, as I've had a bunch of VW & Audis over the years. I'm hoping to go stage 3 with a TTE810 this year as well, stay tuned! Let me know your channel when it's set up as well.
@@dom_says sheesh!! Just moved from San Diego, CA - got to expensive haha much more affordable on the east coast. Might just call my channel my nickname + SQ5 because lazy. Appreciate the support and unfiltered content my dude. Definitely will ping ya once I am on. Probably this weekend! Just putting $$$ in the cart for the build so might as well get the channel going. Also the yay eggs handle? I also raised chickens - so that’s why haha
Nice car bro. I'm considering one myself haha, for this stage 2+ e85 tune what fuel system upgrade dis you have to do? What's the maximum ethanol that this stock fuel system can support on these cars? Thanks in advance!
Heyo! The only fuel system upgrade you need for stage 2+ E85 is the HPFP. The files from 034 specifically require E60-E85 range for the E85 tune. I've been running E85 on the car for over a year with no issues - except you need to change your spark plugs with much more frequency and check your PCV system as well!
Yo thanks! Just the cete so far. I've ridden in a SQ5 with the 034 sway bars and it's definitely a great driving experience! I'm saving for the hybrid turbo right now tbh heheh. As for the alignment specs, I just run OEM with a tiny bit of toe correction. Just got it done last week.
Thanks!! Honestly I went straight to 85 when I tuned. I’ve never run the 91 tune for more than a few tanks on trips with the fam where I never really got on it with all the added weight. E85 completely changes the feel and the HPFP makes the midrange feel more linear. However I know I have it pretty good in Cali with E75+ year round at the stations by my house 😅
The problem with 91 octane or even 93 octane is that most of the time the gas quality sucks and the car will cut power to compensate for that bad quality gas, whereas ethanol would definitely be better in My opinion
Sweet! I like the look of the GLCs - especially the coupes. I know they weigh a little more than SQ5s as well, especially with that V8. However, kind of apples to oranges comparison. Used 2021 GLC comparables are about $22-28k more, and the SQ5 with stock turbo you only need intake, HPFP, and flash/E85 for this if someone wants to mod. (downpipe doesn't actually do much). I think a better direct stock comparison to the GLC63s range is the Audi SQ8 with the 4.0TT.
Hey man, I have an SQ5 as well, Mine is a 2019. In the driver side foot well right in front of the gas pedal area, the floor seems to have some give it is not solid. Is yours the same way? Sorry for the silly question I just don’t know anyone else with an SQ5 haha
Also thinking to go with CTS DP, its the only thing im missing to go stage 2. I guess im just going to follow your decision. Beautiful ride btw. Thank you
Nice! I have a 2020 S4 running the 034 Stage 2 tune and I've done an 11.35 quarter mile. Next up is the HPFP so I can go 2+.
Very impressive 💪🏻
Yooo thank you sir! Gotta get those groceries home quick!
I need to get out there and install the revision . Nice work
Heck ya! Not a massive change, but I did throw one overboost fault in the past that’s now seemingly fixed!
I love your Audi content
Wow thanks for your kind words!
@@dom_says I’m in love with Audis since I was 6. I am 17 now and planning to buy one for my 1st car. Probably not an SQ5 yet😅

Great looking ride - What size tires are you running?
Assuming 295/35/21’s?
Thanks again!
Sick car! Have you made any suspension upgrades besides the cete? Swag bars or anything? And do you run and negative camber on your wheels?

@@the_batmobile0.4 Yeah definitely! I have been looking into octane boosters though. I'm not sure I can run E85 on my QV.
Dom - where did you get teh black trim pieces? I am planning to install all black trim - I have the chrome right now....
Hey there, the SQ5 was a 2019 which had Black Optics as a package - so it's all OEM! I just added black badges.
Dom, Where are you from? North Bay?
What will the times be in 90 degree weather with a 3000 DA?
Great question, unfortunately I won't be able to test the configuration from this video as I've upgraded the turbo since shooting this.
@@dom_says Try it out with the new turbo on 93
@@DMCarReviews I only have 91 near me :( But, if I ever fill up 91 for a long road trip I'll get some numbers to post up.
This is what my bone stock 2021 Amg GLC63s Coupe dose (and slightly better)

No issues with the CTS high flow cat running stage 2 E85?
Nope, none at all so far!

100-200?
