I would imagine it would be OK to just keep your foot on the throttle for 2-2.5k RPMs in neutral?
was a flex fuel tune ever made for the b9 s5's?
how'd you get those paddles on the SQ5? Im looking to get some for my B9.5 S5.
I’m switching right now cuz of 93 prices. I paid $100 to fill my SQ5 today. Absolutely ridiculous but I’m excited for extra power!
You're in for a treat, ethanol really transforms the car.
Awesome I can’t wait 😛!
Update: after driving with it for over a year now, I absolutely love it. I recommend everyone that can switch over to e85, the “good fuel”. It’s so much better and cheaper.
Only reason I’m here today is to flash back to stock for warranty work. 😭
Ordered everything a few days ago, can't wait to get it in.
That said, I have a gas station less than a 5 minute drive from my house in a 25mph zone. So if I were to drive my tank empty (93 octane), fill up with E85 and slowly drive it home I assume that will be fine as well. By that time (around 2 miles) my guess is that most of the 93 in the fuel lines should be gone by then.
As long as you don’t hit boost, you’ll be fine! We highly recommend installing an ethanol content sensor and gauge to ensure you’re hitting proper ethanol levels
Any news on ethanol content sensor for the 8Y S3? Thanks! @@034MotorsportUncut
Can you supply a link for the ethanol analyzer you used and anything else needed for that? Installing my tune soon.

Check it out here!
Yea, juice up that SQ5!!!
Do you need the content analyzer? Can you just wait 10-15 minutes in idle then flash?
You do not need one, but it makes this process much less of a guess.
What brand of Ethanol sensor do you guys recommend? Also are u guys planning on doing flex fuel tunes for the DAZA platform?
We recommend the Fuel-It! kit. Check out our video tutorial on that kit here: ruclips.net/video/objh7Alp87o/видео.htmlsi=pKFxMg25VjW3EUlC
Is this process similar when switching from ethanol back to 93? Do I switch the octane file immediately or wait for the blend to go down?
The process is the same but in reverse. You should wait for the blend to get down to below E60, flash the 93 file, and drive gently until the the remaining blend is to E30 or less.
when are you guys bring out a flex fuel kit can switch without flashing
This is something we will need to look into further on.
Can you run the car with the upgraded HPFP piston while on 91 before getting it fully switched over to e85?
Yep! You can run on pump fuel files with the upgraded HPFP piston installed without an issue.
stupid question but how bad is the mileage on e70 ...drag strip is about a 100kms away. do i have to carry extra ethanol with me and has anyone done the mix with 93 or are you supposed to do it with 91 only. 93 will have ethanol at e10 so switchover maybe faster? anyone calculated the exact ratio like 25-75 or exact 70-30
You can expect about a 30% decrease in overall fuel economy when running full E85. Our E85 file is designed for full E85 and we recommend against any mixing with 91 or 93.
Bringing extra ethanol with you would be ideal!
What is the process to switch back to 93 octane from e85?
It is the inverse of this. Fill tank with 93. Wait for ethanol content to go below the E60 threshold. Flash to 93. Idle/LIGHTLY drive until e content comes down to e10-e30.
Could you daily a E85 Tune file on a B9 S4? Any cons from running it daily?
Yes you could daily drive your B9 S4 on E85.
We would recommend occasionally running a tank of pump gas, though we have not seen any adverse effects to running full E85 at this time.
You can absolutely daily on E85 without issue! You may need to fill up more regularly due to the fact that E85 files require 30% more fuel, but that's certainly made up in smiles!
what if i just idle at the pump till it runs out of gas then full with e85 and then flash it
That's not necessary. Simply drive the car around until the range estimator is around 5-10 miles, then do a full tank of gas
So you're telling me I can purchase a 2022 B9/B9.5 S5 and run it as a daily driver on e85? This might be the game-changer, hope to get your response soon!
That is correct!
@@034MotorsportUncut say less the search begins
@@034MotorsportUncut can the 2018 regular b9 do the same ?
Does 034 have an e85 tune for MQB 2.0T?
We're working on one!
Could I daily run E60-E85 on my B8.5 S4?
No, we do not have files to support E60-E85 on the B8.5 S4.
So what’s the ethanol tolerance on your 93 or 91 tune rather than stock?
If someone does not have the necessary ethanol content to run our E85 file (E60-E85) then we will recommend them to run our pump gas file instead.
If someone has access to ethanol, we do not recommend them to blend E85 and pump gas while running the pump gas file.
@@034MotorsportUncutwhy not? You guys wouldn’t even recommend 2-4 gallons of E85 on a 93 tune with the rest of the tank being 93?
What ethanol sensor kit is this? Link?
Check our our video tutorial which includes everything you need here: ruclips.net/video/objh7Alp87o/видео.html
Is this the same process for the B9 RS5?
Yes it is
How Size Are This Fifthing? 3/8 or 5/16
5/16 for the OE Audi Fuel line
What a pain... I put a flex fuel sensor on my kids cruze... with the proper tune. It adjusts on the fly as the e85 mixture gets stronger.
Who can I message over there about your ethanol sensor install? Heard you tied into the battery terminal in the engine bay instead of fishing everything through the firewall to the fuse box. LMK
That is correct. With the fuel it kit on our B9's, we simply wired in to the positive and negative posts in the engine bays.
Feel free to join our Facebook Group if you have any questions! One of our customers wrote a thorough guide regarding install: facebook.com/groups/034customers
Is this the same process switching from 91 tune to 93?
Yes, though you cannot use an ethanol content analyzer.
Simply wait 5-10 minutes before flashing from 91 to 93.
Damn that was tedious..
