I know how you guys could really make this even better, of course it is beyond great with what you have so far, but, if you could incorporate your app in CarPlay (and I guess android) but what would be amazing and beyond is if you could do a CarPlay app that acted as gauges, since the MK8 doesn't get that cool feature! (you know, like boost, torque, temps, even E85!)

Hi I have a MK8 gti do you have to buy a map/tune after buying the software? Also can you use the crackle/overrun feature even on a stock exhaust

If we are on an older tune flashed with the windows client, do we need to go back to stock before updating to a newer tune?

No, you can flash normally without issue. You can start flashing with 034SPI immediately!
I am a new customer. With the purchase of the dongle and use of the app, we still have to download a program to a laptop?
No you do not, it is optional to use your laptop to flash.

Units are currently locked in Metric/Celsius/kpa, but a later update of the app will allow for users to customized their preferred unit of measure. Be on the lookout for that!
Yes, the dongle getting warm while plugged in is normal.
App wont pickup my dynamic+ dongle through bluetooth or wifi
The new generation of Dynamic+ Flashing Kits was rolled out in May of 2023, and can be identified by its USB-C plug and flush-mounted indicator lights (see image above). Thousands of these kits have already been sold, and are compatible with 034SPI. If you have the new version of the flashing kit, you are ready to use the app!
If you have the older generation of Dynamic+ Flashing Kit (with the raised indicator light and USB-B connector), you will need to purchase the new generation of flashing kit to utilize 034SPI. THE OLDER GENERATION FLASHING KIT WILL STILL WORK FOR THE WINDOWS PC-BASED FLASHING CLIENT.

how long does it take before the credit required goes away on the app ive had my ecu flashed and just purchased the tcu tune really looking forward to this tune
Hey Nick, once you've purchased tunes, they will always be there in your portal, and do not go away.
Upon purchasing any tune, our tuning department usually requires 1-2 business days to fulfill all tuning orders. Afterward, you will receive an email that contains your log-in information and instructions on how to flash your car.
I bought all the upgrades and stage 2 tune from you guys. Haven’t tuned my car yet but I wan to know if I have access to stage 1 and also can a tune my car back to stock. Thank you!
Included with the purchase of Stage 2 is all of our tunes below it. You will have access to Stage 1 and stock files.

how much time it takes to complete a fresh/first-time flash? Considering stage 1.
Depending on your internet connection and vehicle, it could take anywhere between 5-10 minutes. All subsequent flashes are less than a minute (octane switches, remaps, etc.).

Hi, may I ask if ENERGIZER | ENC8A 8AMP CAR BATTERY CHARGER or CTEK MXS 3.8 BATTERY CHARGER is good enough as a battery charger for the first time flashing. Appreciate any input and comments. Thanks.
They have a 20 amp battery maintainer on Amazon for 63 bucks. It works good

Hey I just got my dongle but when I connect it the o ly thing that shows up is tcu tune not the ecu tune even though I bought both and got the email that said that I had credits for both.

Will it take longer to flash using cell service as opposed to wifi? Just thinking that if im traveling and need ti flash to a different octane with no wifi, that its still fairly quick.
It will depend on the quality of the cellular connection. In many instances it will not be any slower on cellular than wifi.

What battery maintainer or charger do you recommend to purchase?
There's no specific version/model that must be used, but we use the charger linked below for flashes that we complete in-house. Various other Ctek, NOCO, Black & Decker, and other chargers that output 15-20 amps should work just fine as well.

I'm confused. The charger linked is capable of 12V @ 7A to the battery. Is the 15A - 20A something else?

Received my new dongle today. I have not been able to get it to BT pair in the app. I can see it under BT devices on the phone. Samsung Galaxy S22+. I'm going to try and dig up an old phone and keep messing with it.

We recommend using a battery charger when flashing to and from stock.
Quick octane changes or stage upgrades should not need a charger if your battery is in good health.
