Looking good brotha. Tighten up that front end a bit will help get that 60' down. Still, high 5's on such a simple combination. Thats what makes this build such a treat. Keep it up!
Yeah, this car is doing 1.3x 60 FTs on blown out factory original 100,000+mile front struts and a set of $20 stock autozone replacement rear shocks. Lol. One day maybe I can afford to get some adjustable, coilovers and actually dial it in. Until then I’m just gonna see how much further I can push it on the worn out stock suspension. 🤣

Some third gens surprise me on weight. My 85 stock with 5 speed weighed 3125. Almost hate messing with it. Shoulda left it alone and cut on another car. Oh well, can't go back now!
@@Matt-hz1oh Yea the only real weight reduction I’ve done to this car is the hood. But I’ve ADDED weight with the turbos, the roll cage, the onboard air, etc and it still has the full interior and factory seats as well so she ain’t that light. I’ve added more than I’ve taken away and I weight 275 which doesn’t exactly help. Lol
Easiest weight reduction is in the driver's seat lol jk jk

In a car that can be street driven as well. Great job on the 5 second pass.
The truth is this car sees more time cruising than it does at the track. The fender exits are loud as hell though. With the windows up it’s not really loud inside the car but everyone else can definitely hear it coming. Lol.
@@BadLuckGarage it’s encouraged me to change my setup. Truth is my car is slower with more gear and so much compression I hate to drive it. I’m definitely gonna make a change
