Hey Robert, I have a steering box, power steering pump, and power steering lines from a 91 Camaro RS in my garage that all have a year of run time on them. You can have them if you need them. Not sure what it would cost to ship it from Indiana to Tennessee but I can look into it if you want me to.
Brother the plan is to install a manual rack. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I actually have several pumps and sets of lines in the shed if I wanted to hook the power steering back up. I just don’t want the clutter. But thank you for offering. 👍

What gear are you running in the rear end ?
I don’t remember if I had the 3.23s or the 3.70s back then. All the videos on that car are in the. Chaos Theory playlist. If you watch them in order it’s easier to keep track of what’s going on and when what modifications were made. Every vehicle in the channel has its own playlist specifically for that reason. 👍

She was on the Mickey Thompson Pro Bracket radials on 16lbs and that was a really good road. But when she shoot’s straight to 26psi they just ain’t gonna hold. 🤣

You barely gain 5 hp by deleting power steering. If its a clearance issue then thats different lol
If you’ve watched the build videos you know it was about making room, not about gaining power and the plan was to have already installed a manual pinto rack by now. It just hasn’t happened yet. Simplicity under the hood a good thing when you’re constantly working on a vehicle. Less clutter means easier to get to everything else. 👍

As long as the weather holds out I plan to give it one this Friday at Knoxville Dragway. I was going to go ahead and take it last Friday even without the subframe connectors but they ended up having a small tire shootout instead of test and tune last Friday.
