      What codes and symptoms that faulty coolant sensor gave you?
      I have 2.5 and when going downhill my temperature gauge is dropping down.

      Oh no! I always like to try the easier/cheaper fix first (hence the sensor replacement) but if your problem is different you may want to take your car to a mechanic you trust that will be able to diagnose the issue! Good luck!
