Great video- I need to replace the same O-ring in my Beetle as it leaked all my coolant out when it was under pressure. Is it getting airlocked (as shown in your video) a problem at all for the engine or cooling system if the air is left in, or does it just keep you from seeing whether the fix worked or not? Just want to know if it's essential to burp it after putting fluid in or if it'll just push the air through without a problem.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but I believe you're talking about the coolant hose connector.
