I buy the majority of my gear and baits online ( better prices ) but I’m fortunate to have a Bass Pro near me and a Sporting Goods store with a good fishing section . I’m also lucky to know some local guys that do custom painting on lures . I wish we had more small local shops but they just can’t compete with the bigger chains
@Oldbasshole I buy online mainly as well, but it's good to have somewhere to go when you need to! Yeah, smaller tackle shops must struggle there especially with those big boys like, basspro, cabelas, academy etc
@@zombiebitefishing between Dicks Sporting Goods and Bass Pro I can usually get the things I need / run out of most often . I’d prefer to go to a local small shop but the few we have don’t have a good selection and the prices are silly expensive
those craws caught me a lot of bass on vacation last september. caught several bass with the biggest measuring 53cm. I tried different lures, but this craw was the one they wanted :-)
Im old enough to remember when we used to have about three or four tackle shops within 10miles of each other. These days we are lucky if we have one or two located near any sort of fishing venue. where im located. A tiny handful of independent tackle shops still exist while the big chain ones seem to get the most business due to being able to have bigger warehouses and floor space. their lure selection tends to be just whatever they can be bothered to get in stock while 70% of the floor space is dedicated to carp fishing. Really sad
Thanks mate! It's a tough spot, and the last year or so it's even worst. I used to go there and catch at least 3 or 4 decent perch and I don't see one there in a year 😕 so I don't really think it's just the fast retrieve mate, possibly not many there anymore after the big floods last year??
Not really mate (I already have a sponsor), it's just my opinion and if I was looking for another sponsor I wouldn't really try to get one from the US! I would love to get basspro as a sponsor though 😅😅😅 (bassproshops if you're reading this...please) 😅😁 thanks for watching man!
What's your go to tackle shop guys?? 🎣
I buy all my lures online we definitely need a bass pro shop style shop in uk
@Biffo-jv5bk yeah same here mate! Or at least angling direct to step up their game and have a few aisles of lures, not just carp stuff 🙄

They definitely won a space in my tackle box! Surprised no perch bit them, but super happy with the pike anyway! Well done on the bass 😁
Love the shout out 🥹 keep it up mate!
My pleasure mate 😁 thanks for the support 💪

Thanks a lot man 😁 yeah I watch your videos too bro 💪
Good going! Spent a few hours there today, wish I’d seen this first😂 my fast retrieve and small shads did nothing

@@zombiebitefishing same here man, had a couple of perch follow today but nothing big at all - back to the canal or the other local river tomorrow!

I normally buy online, my local tackle shop is an Angling Direct 😅 just carp stuff overall. I do buy some stuff there though!
Sounds like you’re after a sponsor fair play
