    What's your opinion on cheap lures guys??

      Cheap lures are fine but I’ll swap out the split rings and hooks .

    Never had a problem with cheap lures, yes I also support local businesses but at £10 lure it's a lot to lose each time, and just goes to show that u don't need to have the most expensive name lures, great video 🎣👍

      Exactly mate! I had a little Rapala minnow, £10, lost it to a snag the other day, barely used haha they're definitely better, but can't really go wrong with £2 lures. I buy a lot of lures from UK stores too, just need to balance because my wallet doesn't allow me to buy them all the time 😅

    My lure box contains both jdm and cheep lures the tsu brand lures catch alot of fish I've had some belters over the years personally don't think the fish look and think that lure is cheep or exp fish within your budget

    • @zombiebitefishing
      @zombiebitefishing  5 месяцев назад +2

      Yeah I agree, for each 10 cheap lures I have a couple expensive ones haha caught some good fish on cheap lures as well, some of them have really good quality surprisingly!

      Yea I've had 2 fish around 5lb on cheep lures this season I will always use them I like cast them into the snaggier swimms as I'm not so hurt to loose them leading me to catch better quality fish you fish same rivers as I do so you ko what thier like for snaggs and crap in the water

    • @zombiebitefishing
      @zombiebitefishing  5 месяцев назад +2

      That's exactly that, I had like 10 tsu at the beginning of the season lost two up to now casting on those snaggy areas but as you said it doesn't hurt as much! Yeah man you've been catching some beasts, I'm struggling quite a bit this season to be honest 😅

    I bought a TSU Intruder 50S (among other things) earlier this year, but it's like it doesn't wobble at all unless I burn it super fast, which is disappointing. So now I'm a little cautious with Ali hardbaits that rely on a certain action (cranks etc.). Super happy with the rods, reels and softbaits I got from there though.

      @zombiebitefishing  4 месяца назад

      I know what you saying, I had the same problem with a couple of 50s too. The 46s are definitely better in that aspect. Soft plastics are normally really good, hard baits always a gamble in my opinion. Got some good ones from Meredith, but bigger sizes for pike!

  • @Rose.Of.Hizaki

    Ive had a few cheap lures from aliexpress. Crankbaits do look great cosmetically. But of the ones I received. A few of them weren't properly balanced and the action wasnt great on some of them either. They'll still catch though but I reckon I do lose fish due to the lures not really moving naturally.
    I go through a lot of rubber lures though. So i'll always stock up at ali's because its just so much cheaper than bigger brands

    • @zombiebitefishing
      @zombiebitefishing  4 месяца назад

      I agree with all that! Some of the hardbaits are not great, and even the good ones don't have the action of a Salmo or a Rapala for example, but they still good. Soft plastics is another world, there's really good stuff there! What are your favourite brands of soft plastics on Ali?

      @@zombiebitefishing Hi man, Ive not really experimented with that many brands on ali so far but i've tried the 'Spinpol Vigour Perch' which is a Kofi perch knock off and some tiny 3cm paddle tail shads from a seller called Ufishing.
      I havent been able to use the vigour perch much since i got them due to limited time but I did get a crazy amount of perch on the 3cm paddle tails. £2 for 10 but they arent very durable so i have gone through quite a few of them already.

    • @zombiebitefishing
      @zombiebitefishing  4 месяца назад

      @Rose.Of.Hizaki yeah I have both, the kofi perch are good too! But the 3cm ones slay perch everywhere! Tsurynoia, Meredith, Kingdom and Supercontinent are great!

      @@zombiebitefishing Speaking of Kingdom. They are the seller I bought the hardbaits from. I bought like 5 from their store for £28 which makes them roughly between £4-5 each. The same lures now cost under £4 but since not all of them are balanced properly, im probably not going to shop there again.
      I know they are sinking lures but some of them are tail heavy so fall tail first if you stop cranking and twitching them. On the listing for the lures it said they were supposed to have a fluttering or rolling motion as they fall through the water. I think only two or three out of the 5 have this.
      I'll probably give Tsurynoia a go next since you've had good luck with them.

    • @zombiebitefishing
      @zombiebitefishing  4 месяца назад +1

      @Rose.Of.Hizaki never tried the Kingdom hardbaits, but even the Tsurinoya are not as good as a Salmo. The 4.6cm though are better than the 5cm, and the bigger ones for pike like 12cm are actually really good!

      @@zombiebitefishing the 100m 0.6 right?

    • @zombiebitefishing

      @Boombasticfantastic33 I'm using the 0.2, but depending on the reel you're going to use it on, the 0.6 it's probably the better option, this one is actually really thin 😅
