nice video. Although you don't need a 50000 euro boat and a fish finder to catch big perch. Where i fish on the Rhine river i regularly catch 45-50 cm perch just from shore

ohh man ... went on Great Ouse few days ago using a nice sinking WESTIN I did not strike well enough and lost a nice PB pike in not more than 5 seconds ... I don't know what's with those WESTIN lures but it does make an outstanding difference, especially the light blue and yellow one 34grams... as I am watching this right now, especially the pike session I have finished my gear up to get back and try again to attempt a PB pike and I fell like I got a boost of confidence seeing you guys used same lures.... you have a great narrative and a great sense of humor, your channel is nice and relaxing.... I almost started happy crying when the grand finale hit the end of the fishing session ...great mf Perch ..yhhhhaaaaaaaaa😱

That 1st Perch you caught was a beauty. What rod/ reel are you using? My last weekend out I caught a few trout but lost a lot( like Sean does on Snagged Bro!). I ended up softbaiting but was using my short spin set. There are Perch here in NZ but no one fishes for them. I'm going to have to give them a Crack this winter to see if I can get a few. Not su7
e how a Perch video will go down here but anyway....By the way you can wash that coat of yours😮.

The Carolina rig Luc and yourself were throwing is a very common rig for bass fishing in the US. Your buddy JonB could tell you all about it and sells a lot of those baits such as the Bandito Bug and Krackin' Craw through Googan Squad.
I was singing along and laughing when you were singing The Duck Song.
We get redfin here in Oz as some clever clogs decided to introduce them and they're fairly common in the southern states. Victoria and South Australia in particular where it stays nice and cool for them. I think that about 4-4.5 pounds is about the upper limit for them, so a 6 pounder is a real monster! I don't doubt that you needed a bit of a lie down after that.

Hi Carl, I wonder if you can help me. I am doing a similar trip at the end of January 24 and I am having trouble working out how to get the Vispas licence. I have wasted over a week trying to work this out, it says that the Vispas is linked to a Fishing Club but as a visiting angler I won't have a club. Can you point me in the right direction?
Love this video and your other content.
    All the best.

Can anyone help, I’m currently fishing a pond that I’ve fished my entire life and in the last couple of years it’s been taken over and stocked with hundreds of small carp. I know there to be big fish in the pond as I’ve caught them over the years but my problem now is getting past these stockies. I’ve tried bigger baits but one of the stockies is always either brave/stupid enough to try and take it and I’m struggling to find the bigger carp. For context I’m currently using a hybrid lead clip system with a small bomb attached to a 6 inch hair rig and I’ve used 20mm boilies and pellets so far. Only way I seem to catch anything of any size is waiting for days where it’s sunny and I can walk round with a sawn off and free line some bread/biscuit. Thanks for any tips/advice in advance.
