catch a bunch of shiners from the swamp and throw em in the pond then go catfishing with the ones that dont make it ,the key to huge bass is tons of bait but you dont want to stock bluegill or sunfish a ton cuz once they get to a surtain size not much cant be eaten by much.

I bought the Crappie Maxx for ultra light fishing and put it on a light casting rod. I mainly use it for crappie and bluegill fishing.
4:38 No way, I went in for cheap heavy rods and got the 6'6" "whoopin stick" spinning rod knowing it's prolly breaking soon. It does spin a bit (reel can spin off the axis of the guides on the rod) but has been holding strong otherwise for at least a year of pretty heavy abuse. I highly recommend if you want a very cheap/affordable rod because you will always find them crazy cheap. The way it spins off its axis doesn't really negatively affect the fishing in my opinion.

You know what eould be good is a carfish catch and cook for you, norm, ayo, davey, yakpak, dev, anyone really and then have Daryl be the taste tester and judge. Just a thought

You should honestly do a review of all these cheap rod and reel combos you do and let us know which one is the best bang for the buck. For someone who is getting to bass fishing
Saw the Yum Dingers and instantly knew that somewhere Davy Gravy had a big smile on his face! You coulda bought a Zebco 33 and still had plenty of cash for the rest of the challenge.

Man I love your channel and I understand that the sponsor is helpful to you and others because it can help you to get off cigarettes and tabaco but kids watch your videos and it’s not a good look that you are showing off a product that contains nicotine again I love your channel and I’m not hating on you but maybe think about how this can affect your viewers
This is exactly why i never buy two piece rods anymore. Seen the front half of way too many rods get tossed into the deep. Even my salt water stuff is all one piece.

Whoopin Stix have a decent warranty too(10 years) and literally have rods for all species/sizes. Great for people not ready spend a lot on gear yet or just learning to fish.
I've been thinking about getting some for catfish setups.
