Don't forget to set the RGB Range to Full Instead of Automatic or Limited. Monitors use the Full RGB range as opposed to TV's, which use Limited. If its not set correctly you'll either get too dark shadows etc (crushed blacks), or a washed out image where everything loses colour and brightness and where black looks grey.
@@sidiqmf9225if the monitor shows as no signalor just plain black/ blue screen, then try to connect your ps4 to any tv around you. Once connected change your ps4 resolution settings to as low as 720p and then try to recconect your ps4 back to your monitor. You should now be able to see image from your ps4 to your monitor. Once you see image either try to go back into your ps4 resolution settings and try set it to automatic or 1080p, if you dont get any signal when outputting automatic or 1080p res to your monitor then you should probably leave it to 720p since some monitors dont support anything over 720p. Had the same problem with my monitor when connecting my ps3. Apperantly my monitor only supports up to 1600x900 res (900p) which wont let me use 1080p. So i had to set it to as low as 720p. Also sometimes it might be hdcp problems, some monitors dont have support for it. I searched mine up to be shure and it does support hdcp but it appearently only suports this through dvi and im using a hdmi to vga adapter, dont know if it makes any difference but yeah, just try to set your res on your ps4 as low as possible. Also almost forgot, if you have a ps4 slim/ pro and your hdr settings are on or automatic, turn them off. This might also be the problem

for audio just get a usb sound card from amazon, plug it in the usb port on the ps4 and then you have both mic and heaphones jacks. so you can use your heaphones or just normal pc speakers. works just fine and the quality is also OK. dont need to mess up your controller with cables.

For dvi or vga audio problem u can also get an hdmi audio extractor. Its basically a device that plugs to ps4's hdmi (or any other hdmi device like a pstv) and has a 3.5mm option so that u can plug to an audio source like soundbar etc.

Zaburgh I fixed it basically make sure the adapter is plugged in tightly then go onto safe mode and change the resolution to 420p and it should work try and increase to 720p later if that works

It will work, as DVI-I is fully compatible with DVI-D (The difference between DVI-I and DVI-D is that DVI-I also has pins for analogue video, DVI-D is digital only)

HDCP is basically an anti-piracy protection.
