9:15 just restart fight 2/3/4/5 times and get you crit damage to close 11/12 mirror. Crit rate just helps you do not restart. But if you can not close mirror in 10 rounds - you need crit damage + restarts, not crit rate
Also here 17:02 sparkle is very good for Clara, it’s not about the av it’s more about the extended crit damage buff but the av does let her skill to get a lot more energy

Clara is such a weird destruction character - she is part preservation by taking the hits, part erudition with her skill and part abundance with her lightcone.
I mean this is pretty much what Destruction path is supposed to be. Only her and Blade are true to their class description."Great damage and high survivability". I really hope Sam is the same as them and not stray off to the path like Imbibitor and Jingliu did.

As a Clara main, I prefer Lynx as a healer not only because she gives her more aggro on heals but also because her ult cleanse is the best against CCs which are Clara's biggest enemy

The action advance also allows you to spam Clara’s skill more, resulting in more energy. + Ruan Mei’s ultimate retriggering breaks is anti synergistic with Clara who wants to get hit as much as possible The team I usually run with Clara is her, Tingyun, Sparkle and Lynx
I agree with this. Clara definitely has anti-synergy with Ruan Mei, especially since while breaking toughness is good usually but for Clara that just means less turns for the enemy to attack her. This is the sole reason why March 7th isn't good with Clara due to freezes. I also think that Clara gets to output more dmg due to Sparkle's SP gen for her to spam skill
for those who are lazy in simple terms claras bis relic is 4p boxer or 2p boxer and 2p duke. Best in slot lc is her signature if you want survibility or dhil lc for utilty. F2p use under blue sky or fall of an aeon. Best team currently being huo huo , tingyun and flex. Topaz on flex for dual dps , pela or silver for hyper carry or fu xuan if you have e1 for big buff. Sparkle as well but they are enemy relint but still good. Solsotto set no qjestions asked. Crit body , atk eveyrhting else , phy orb. Stat prio crit> atk> hp. Summery :) Edit: fall of an aeon takes longer to proc or you wont always be able to proc it. It only outprforms it by a small margrin which can be fixed with mei issue being mei tends to have anti synergy when paired with clara unless your not fighting physical weak enemies

2:02 Sushang is better at breaking, but she still uses that set over any other set, she doesn’t just use BE, attack and crit are better. Longinus is also pretty good for Clara.
You all are sleeping on hp Blade 4 piece set, it's 16% crit rate very easy to prock and for people like me who farmed a lot of hacker space without having blade it's perfect

But I also haven’t played Star Rail in a long while so I’ve missed a lot of characters she could be paired with. But it looks like she’s got some decent four stars that can work with her. ❤ I also really appreciate that you go into relics and light cones into detail. How and why the work or wouldn’t work well. I’ve always struggled with building character here so it really helped me understand. Been struggling with the newest story boss but I’m hoping a built Clara can get me through it. 🤞
I actually found Clara and Sparkle have great synergy since Sparkle’s skill buff last till Clara’s next turn, meaning that CRT DMG buff works on her follow-up attacks. It’s how I got my 80k score in the latest Pure Fiction 😊
I got clara as my first 5 star and since then Ive gotten her E2 but I havent used her at all recently now Im building her again and this guide came at the right time
Same here, Clara was my first standard unit outside of the beginner banner, I stopped using her after getting Argenti, but then I got her LC alongside her E2.
Firstly, I can't believe you didn't mention Lynx as a synergy! She's amazing for Clara, due to the extra taunt she gives with her skill, and with eidolons she buffs her attack, HP% and provides a debuff shield and a TON of effect resistance. Everything Clara could ask for from a sustain! Sparkle actually works very well with her too allowing the crit damge% to last through all her counters. Secondly, most people will have a ATK% scaled 4 pc Longevous set just laying in their inventory unleveled. GO. FOR. IT. It's amazing for Clara, equally as good if not better than 4pc Champion especially at low investment when getting enought Crit Rate is hard. She has near full uptime on the 4pc bonus which is one of if not the most ridiculous in the game. Extra HP from the 2 pc doesn't help her damage but she also need to be able to take the hits. Personally I have a cracked out Champion set for her so I just keep her on that. Finally, I'd just like to second that Clara is still amazing and is just straight up OP in our current Pure Fiction on the second half. Definitely a strong character to have built and ready for when the content favors her!
I finally reached 300 Warps on perma banner and chose Clara. I run her with Bronya, Tingyn and Lynx, 4-Pc boxer relic set and salsoto planar set (classic). That's so satisfying. And cherry on top, i had her signature Light Cone already prepared before.
Sparkle is good for her clara may not need advance forward but as you said she needs high crit rate while not getting crit stats on traces etc so her crit dmg gonna be lower so a crit dmg buff LİKE SPARKLE'S gonna have more value and sparkle gives her more turns more turns means more energy yes Clara doesn't need er but it's not like she can keep her ult up 24/7 so more energy is very very good so sparkle is actually her bis support due to ruan mei's negative synergy with clara And if Clara is E1 160spd Sparkle Clara skill spam combo is quite powerful İt's also okay at e0 but it's not reliable and E1 solves that issue Stacks do go so she always deals that yummy extra skill dmg
I think her current best team at E1 + is with sparkle. She is so cracked in MoC since she can keep taking turns with her 240% attack skill and you can spam tingyun's skill etc Sparkle also solves clara's crit issues. Having Sparkle pull clara up the turn order and give her gg crit buffs also resolves one of the more annoying part of pure fiction for clara eg killing the trotters
to awnser the blade light cone question : yes it's only proc 1 time as she do the follower attack ( HOW EVER ) let's say clara got stuned , then the lightcone can be stack up and releast when she do her counter

I finished PF with Clara/Sparkle/Tingyun/Lynx. I don't usually use Clara but I have her decently built. I have her at E1+Sparkle so her skill can do damage when hitting marked enemies + the buff lasts for her counters. I even pulled Blade's LC for her because I don't have a good Destruction LC at that time 😂.
I respect you suggesting a free to play. I use her signature, which stays consistent now than you seem to think. But as far as pure damage, I definitely want to try Fall! That sounds like a great suggestion honestly

Relics... they roll everything but what you want, I +15 an attack rope, and got and 18.7 crit damage, 8 speed attack rope.... The one character you don’t want speed on, still good rope for the back burner.
Okay, I was looking for a reason why the physical set is bad, but your only reasons are related to farming for it. I'm looking for suggestions on updating my E4 Clara that I've had since day 1. My main account is focused on dot and follow up characters I spent months in that domain and well over 70 fuels by this point I've built topaz, Kafka, ratio, guinaifen, black swan and Clara simply came and claimed my pieces with crit substats I got on the dot set I didn't know what to do with because crit on dot units sucks
2:48 Mistake here. Clara has the mark, which is a debuff and this means she gets the full 8% crit rate practically always. This also means it's just another debuff and the cdmg buff is also online and any sane team has at least some debuffs for the enemy like Pela. Also weakness break (bleed) is another debuff which means Clara can also trigger it on her own. That's great and given the set is also good to farm because watchman gives break effect which is also very useful on many characters, it's the best set in my opinion.
For my account, the physical + Break set relic cavern is more beneficial for me than the DoT + FUA relic cavern. So, the Prisoner set is useless for me as I always farm for Musketeer anyways
It sucks because I’m still 90 pulls away from getting my free 5 star (skipped Argenti and I don’t have Luka yet) so maybe by the time 2.4 arrives I’ll finally get to have a Clara for Physical coverage. That or I lose a 50/50.😅
Didn't CN prove on paper many months ago that the physical 4x champion set was definitely better than the follow-up set? Specifically for Clara. Outside of the inefficiency of farming for that set... it's definitely her best in slot. As a Clara main, you could probably mention that?

I have every banner Character, 4 and 5 stars both, since that point. I just got done beating Jarilo VI and I'm TB level 50. Any tips are very much appreciated! Loving the game! I also have all the standard banner 5 stars except Yanqing.
I actually use 4pc Longevous Disicple on Clara because i need to build other characters, so i just borrow the relic set from my Blade, and the stats are already pretty good too, and i could actually use some c. rate as well so i think it's fine even though the damage is lower from other people's Clara, maybe after I'm done building my other characters i could try farm the boxing set, but do you guys think it's worth it?
I just started the game n i got clara so i thinking is it worth to build her for long run coz i already got Dr ratio n i working on him. I just dont want to spread my resources on unnecessary characters which i will not later use 😅

The amount of casuals putting 300 crit damage and only having 20 crit rate is disgusting. This has nothing to so with special gamer knowledge einher. This is simple understanding how basic things work in live. I bet those people have issues opening there door to leave there home too. Funfact: Clara wants Energy Rope at E2. I love her. With Topaz, Tingyun and Lynx she is so much fun.
For Clara’s relics I used my trailblazer’s physical build that I had made and never changed at the very start of the game😅😂 it’s working well😂 (got her instead of acheron…I don’t mind it that much but I definitely would’ve preferred to get her on the standard 🥲

The Break Set is with the Physical Set anyway so you are still getting Luka and Sushang relics eitherway if he’s correct

You can use Longevous Disciple, since everyone farms for Speed set anyway and it works good with enemies always attacking Clara.
That’s what i run since i have clara built more as a sub dps / tank. She uses very few skill points and so pairs well with others.

I like longevious the most, harmony units give atk% and dmg% usually which more often than not leaves Clara crit starved.
break gear is best in slot for himeko and herta (crit) for purefiction because of the energy it gives when break

Okay, I was looking for a reason why the physical set is bad, but your only reasons are related to farming for it. I'm looking for suggestions on updating my E4 Clara that I've had since day 1. Your suggestion is great for me players though, and you DEFINITELY helped by reminding me to look into that set you suggested for Ruan Mei. Thank you!
My main account is focused on dot and follow up characters I spent months in that domain and well over 70 fuels by this point I've built topaz, Kafka, ratio, guinaifen, black swan and Clara simply came and claimed my pieces with crit substats I got on the dot set I didn't know what to do with because crit on dot units sucks

Mistake here. Clara has the mark, which is a debuff and this means she gets the full 8% crit rate practically always.
This also means it's just another debuff and the cdmg buff is also online and any sane team has at least some debuffs for the enemy like Pela. Also weakness break (bleed) is another debuff which means Clara can also trigger it on her own. That's great and given the set is also good to farm because watchman gives break effect which is also very useful on many characters, it's the best set in my opinion.
For my account, the physical + Break set relic cavern is more beneficial for me than the DoT + FUA relic cavern.
So, the Prisoner set is useless for me as I always farm for Musketeer anyways

sparkle is very good with clara dude, especially if you have E1 clara.
U totally forgot about sparkle, sparkle actually is Clara’s best support after tingyun, her best team is Clara, sparkle, tingyun lynx/huohuo
You failed to mention the best light cone for Clara which DHIL’s light cone (Brighter than the sun).

It sucks because I’m still 90 pulls away from getting my free 5 star (skipped Argenti and I don’t have Luka yet) so maybe by the time 2.4 arrives I’ll finally get to have a Clara for Physical coverage. That or I lose a 50/50.😅

Didn't CN prove on paper many months ago that the physical 4x champion set was definitely better than the follow-up set? Specifically for Clara. Outside of the inefficiency of farming for that set... it's definitely her best in slot. As a Clara main, you could probably mention that?

I have every banner Character, 4 and 5 stars both, since that point. I just got done beating Jarilo VI and I'm TB level 50. Any tips are very much appreciated! Loving the game! I also have all the standard banner 5 stars except Yanqing.

I actually use 4pc Longevous Disicple on Clara because i need to build other characters, so i just borrow the relic set from my Blade, and the stats are already pretty good too, and i could actually use some c. rate as well so i think it's fine even though the damage is lower from other people's Clara, maybe after I'm done building my other characters i could try farm the boxing set, but do you guys think it's worth it?

The amount of casuals putting 300 crit damage and only having 20 crit rate is disgusting. This has nothing to so with special gamer knowledge einher. This is simple understanding how basic things work in live.

For Clara’s relics I used my trailblazer’s physical build that I had made and never changed at the very start of the game😅😂 it’s working well😂 (got her instead of acheron…I don’t mind it that much but I definitely would’ve preferred to get her on the standard 🥲
