What's interesting with the release of Yunli is that we now have a buff in one of the endgame modes (forgor which one) that increases Counter DMG. That makes me think that Counter will become a subset of character type like Follow Up, DoT etc.
Idk…counters are still follow up attacks technically so most teams/modes/buffs that work well in FuA will work well with counter. Counter teams are basically reliant on using 1 of 2 specific 5 star units so it might just get lumped in with FuA to make it more accessible. Bc of the overlap between FuA and Counter we might not see counter-specific buffs like that too often. Feixiao & Lingsha are also about to release too who are FuA and break respectively and the newer future units don’t seem to have more counter mechanics sadly.
im hoping we get some more dot support soon since since fua has been so abundant (which is a good thing for fua buffs but seeing dot buffs in pf and not having any built dot chars can be a pain)

As usual, the Master of transition back with his edit. Ngl, that change from yunli ult to the cutscene in her demo then back to the gameplay was smooth. Not to forget when yunli finish first part then we back to clara was really unnoticeable. Tq for the showcase tho
March and Yunli's signature Lightcone came in clutch for my Clara since i managed to 3 star 12th floor in MoC for the first time with the Sparkle i got from current rerun.
I have E0S2 Clara so I don't really find any use to pull for Yunli ever. She's pretty solid. The only real problem she has is that if enemies just don't attack her, she loses a lot of her damage whilst Yunli still does damage but a little weaker if no one attacks her

Quid pro quo seems to be making a strong resurgence for recent comps. I wonder when is it worth to give it to a healer... I feel bad to not use huohuo's signature for it. And i wonder if its worth using on a hyperspeed Gallagher instead of multiplication.
i like that there are multiple utility options for healers but yeah it does make it hard to choose haha i dont think id give up huohuo's sig, especially not on her - and for gallagher it'll really depend on the team he's running (if you have a specific setup where qpq can work then it's most likely gonna give more value than multiplication unless you need the sp or increased toughness damage)
I am still relatively new and havent tried this game mode yet but I accidentally pulled a Yunli fairly recently and have...no tingyun no robin and non huo huo-is it worth trying to build the character now when I dont have some of her (to my understanding) best teammates or do i just hold off until I pull a robin or Tingyun
clara greatly increases her own chance to be targeted from her ult (primarily) and technique whereas yunli doesn't have that baked into her kit (the ult parry is a guaranteed chance to hit but outside of that it's inconsistent without an external source like her sig or lynx)
Suggestion for the future - could you turn down the in game volume when doing your commentary? It’s just loud enough to clash with your voice and makes it a bit hard to focus on what you’re saying

Are you sure robin is better than sparkle? especially in clara's case because she absolutely no crit in her kit whatsoever and you have her on a non crit light cone. Meanwhile yunli is already saturated with crit buffs naturally in her kit.
i would say if it was multi target, there would be a pretty good argument to run sparkle over robin for clara (can't control concerto targetting on enhanced ults/skills and more value out of clara's skill especially with e1) but overall robin provides more value in low/single target counts if we take a look at the numbers given level 10 traces sparkle: +15% atk, +90-100 cd, +48% dmg robin: +90-100% atk, +20 (45 for fua) cd, +50% dmg the significant jump in atk% buffing heavily outweighs the big jump in cd - with them being roughly equal in dmg% and this is not including robin's own damage contribution from all teammates being able to proc concerto (they've got about the same action advancing capabilities overall except robin usually gets the edge here despite being less frequent thanks to it being teamwide) if you do need the sp gain, sparkle does come out on top for sure since you won't have a functional team otherwise but it's not an issue for clara
I put them together and Jade on Clara and Yukong have both with cones but if in moc leave something irreplaceable on Clara so she can heal also put energy rope on her Jade in front Yu in the back it’s so fun
so is fair to say y'all dont need to pull for Yunli if you have Clara and if you dont need Yunli at all? im asking as recent (new) F2P player who got Clara E1.
clara's still great! aeon is also just a really good f2p option that's accessible for her so it's easy to build her up (i would recommend maxing her talent and ult at 10 once you have the resources)
she's worth it if you're still looking for a strong damage dealer! great free to play options to get you started too (lynx for sustain and aeon for light cone)
I can't run Yunli without Loucha I find that compared to clara she takes way more damage and can't handle the higher difficulty harder hitting enemies without being able to heal back on counter. My Yunli has about 600 more HP and around 80 less defense than my clara but I feel like she dies way easier.
yeah yunli only gets dmg reduction when she's in parry whereas clara always has it (+bonus amount when ulted) clara's own sig does help a lot with self sustaining too if you have that
Think that’s a skill issue friend. Yunli can run no sustain better than most dps. HuoHuo has worse healing than Luocha and is still more than sufficient to keep her alive. Her skill also heals her for a sizeable amount. If you’re dying with Yunli you might want to reevaluate the way you’re playing. I wasn’t even coming close to dying in MoC 12 when she was only at level 70.

she's still a solid character even without them especially when starting out! she'll only get better once you pull more of her best supports :)
