Wow, im so happy i found this video. Heres my theory about marika and the shadow ream, i hope you find this coment: I think you hit it right on the head before the DLC even came out. Personally, i believe the realm of shadow was originally the Sun Realm and was probably akin to the realm of gods like olympus, or even just the realm of mankind (like Boletaria on DeS) First of all though, i believe the scadutree was originally the Greattree and was basically the Suntree. There are old carving on stone tablets in areas with hornsent that depict a helix tree, standing straight up in symmetry. Id bet thats a carving of the greattree before marika sacrificed it. But how could marika do anything to harm the greattree? The title for empyrean was around in the shadow realm before marika made her sacrifice, so if theres an empyrean, theres probably an elden ring (or something equivilant), she may have been holding this power when she cut her braid and made her wish. I think it was Marika who killed the greattree, because i believe thats what her "seduction and betrayal" refers to. On the Scadutree, it looks like one helix is wrapping the other in a compassionate way, yet its forcing it straight and draining its bounty (which could've been forshadowing marika's age of Order) and in the Shadow Sunflower description "the second stock winds tightly around the first, almost as if in a tender embrace" I believe when marika offered her braid, she was making that offering on behalf of the greattree. One braid is offered, one braid remains = one helix is offered, one helix remains. I think she destroyed half of the greattree and used its bounty to fuel her order. Also i think the black keep might be the "city crowned by the sun" if you go into scadu altus and look as the keep, you can see the wall by the scadutree chalice, making a crown over the city. If the scadutree really was the Suntree once, it wouldve been crowned by the Suntree🤔

I do believe Xiangliao is T0, let's be honest here. He is faster that JinHsi S0 clearing with Yinlin and now with his premium team: XY, YL, SK. That's T0 Level. XY just have many roles unlocked not just MDPS. I also believe that SK didn't devalued Verina. Verina still leading faster concerto regen amongst healer and she fits among all team meanwhile SK is just not that great pairing with slow concerto team, if it is not because of her buff.

I got Verina as my discounted 5 star on the "standard" banner or whatever Wuthering Wave's banners are called.

I got S2 R1 Shorekeeper and she is worth it. All though I was lucky at first getting her at 20 pitty and weapon at 50. I lost 2 50/50 to Lingyang and had to spend to get her to S2. Luckily she does not need S3 cdr because I’m at 260ish unbuffed and over 270 with the new echo so her outro just needs full forte, skill then ult. I noticed while using the turtle echo her 3rd cycle would require me to do 3 full forte stacks, skill then ult for outro. Cost me 230 pulls for S2 R1 with 2 copies of LingYang and he is now S2. Up until this point I had not built LingYang but after getting him to lvl 81 with some talents upgraded and XinLiao weapon I decided to level a Glacio set since that was the only one I had not done yet. The best part about this is I now got to try ShoreKeeper, Sanhua and Zhezhi main dps in Hazard TOA lvl 100 and cleared them both at 3 stars with meme dps Zhezhi build. Well luck would have it DPS Zhehzhi has the best crit ratio out of all the limited characters sitting at 83/277 crit hit/dmg using YinLings sig weapon.

I use both Jinshi and XLY… Jinshi damage is high but XLY make fight pace faster together with high damage. XLY is tier 0 for me. I also use both Verina and SK… SK is great for buff, but Verina make healing and buffing better in fast rotation.

They literally could have had her blow up all of Penacony and then be like “Haha, it was a dream”, but it would still feel like she had relevance

SK is very strong but Verina deserves same tier if both are on s0 and variation. They just shine in different team archetypes now, Verina staying with dual dps teams and SK taking hypercarry+fast concerto support duos.

I really don‘t think that shorekeeper is better than Verina because its hard to play her in a dual dps team when you dont have r1 from shorekeeper.You can play r0 Verina in every team.

i think after shorekeeper came out, xiangli yao must be up to T0. Because on TOA popular team for now is Xiangli yao, yinlin, shorekeeper and jinshi, zhezi, shoekeeper

I have s3 Verina and s0 Shorekeeper, and I generally prefer to use my Verina for anything outside of ToA. She's just extremely flexible, allows you to easily double intro on a sub DPS or whatever while still instantly getting in and out with her concerto gen and buffs. I think xiangli yao/yinlin (faster concerto for yinlin) and encore/sanhua (just faster overall) teams feel a lot more snappy with verina than they do with shorekeeper, amd the damage the have with those setups has been more than enough to comfortably clear anything tower has thrown out so far. I will probably spend corals on s1 shorekeeper though because I feel like the extra duration could help with some extra setups, though trying to make use of that extra 10s of liberation buff would also mean you probably don't have rejuv echo/outro damage amp buffs anymore so it's not necessarily the best way to take advantage of her liberation.

While I agree that SK is an improvement over Verina in most teams and that Verina could be put in 0.5 there are still a few cases where Verina is better or as good as SK, it mainly comes down to if characters prefer a short rotation for exemple : the ultra short rota of Encore-Sanhua, Calcharo-Yinlin etc... Also really important to take into account : 50 cv is worth about 42% atk so it’s worth about twice Verina's 20% atk buff wich is huge yes but they both also have 15% dmg amp as well as the buffs from the echo and the echo set

S2 SK shits on Verina any day of the week. The sheer amount of buffs at s2 is crazy for a healer. Though Verina is still needed because you need 2 teams at most but as soon as they release another support Verina will be completely benched unless you have Jinhsi

Spectro sup cz of jinhsi she will become too powerful before the time due to how she works for every different type in team she will get more skill charges you will do full charge skill everytime you swap to her just free s2 for her that's why

After getting shorekeeper, i literally cleared hassle free the last two towers in TOA. she's just a very good buffer over all aside from being a healer too

Ever since I got Shorekeeper, my stars in the TOA went from 21 to 25/30. She carries my Xiangli Yao, Jiyan, Changli, and Encore fr.

I’m so conflicted about her. I have a bunch of limited sustains already including E6 Gallagher. However I don’t have HuoHuo for team wide cleansing nor do I have Aventurine for follow up (and never will). There’s also the unknown future of a potential summon meta to consider. I think my choice is between getting Lingsha and an eventual E1 Firefly, or save both pulls for E2 Acheron. But then there is also Sunday and Tingyun in the next patch too aaaaahhh!!
